Drizzle is now starting to flutter the entire city of Lyon, France. The city is famous for being a symbol of trade, tourism, and large industry in the country of France seems to be in the midst of winter. Rainfall is very high, reducing the density of vehicles that usually pass on the streets of the city. Usually, during the summer the city of Lyon will be the most charming tourist destination, with a skyline of the night sky that is truly stunning to the eye.
The three-story art nouveau-style house with a spacious building is now surrounded by grief. One of the mansions located on the Rue Pierre Valdo road has now been afflicted with deep sorrow. The departure of the hostess for good seems to have changed the atmosphere in the house bright cream color.
“Did Miss Audrey open her eyes?” one of the waiters there.
Audrey Bonadetto, the only child of Margaret Bonadetto with one of the presidential candidates in France. The dark story of Margaret and Joseph in the past has brought Audrey into this world. Margaret and Joseph initially loved each other, but Joseph had to marry one of the French nobility at the behest of his parents. No wonder, matchmaking between nobles in that era was not strange anymore.
But apparently Joseph's love for Margaret was no longer dammed. Joseph married Margaret religiously without anyone knowing about their relationship. Joseph lived in Paris with his legal wife, while Margaret had to live with their only child Audrey.
Margaret died at the age of forty-five, beautiful women must die because of an accident that hit her and the princess. Thankfully, God still loved Audrey and gave her one-off chance to enjoy a better life.
“Doctor Frans, how is Miss Audrey doing?” mia asked, as the butler in the house.
After being declared normal, Audrey was forced to be brought back home so that the Joseph family could not sniff out Audrey's whereabouts. They provide a variety of medical supplies with advanced equipment as well as in hospitals.
The girl called Audrey now blinked her eyes, the lighting from the light that burst into the retina of her eyes making the girl squint her forehead. Slowly, the girl began to observe her surroundings.
“Gabriel?” he murmured for the first time when his eyes were completely open.
All the servants and Doctor Frans stared at each other, not understanding what their young lady said.
“Where is Gabriel?” asked the girl once more, the twilight brown eyes in the afternoon were now circulating her eyes looking for the Gabriel sosk that she had so longed for.
His face looked hard thinking. “Where is this?” ask the girl because she feels foreign to the building there.
The girl tried to get up, but her head felt like a windmill.
“Where am I?” he shouted without caring about the pain as his head began to throb violently.
It was not his home, nor was it the building of the Imperial Palace of Frace. It is impossible if Anthonio's men again intend to kidnap him right? Or is it that the events when the palace family took him forcibly to the palace, are now repeated and he was transferred to this place?
The number of thoughts that the girl was thinking about further added to the weight of the burden on her head.
“Miss Audrey is okay?” mia asked trying to get close to her young lady.
“Audrey? Who's Audrey?” the girl looked at everyone confused.
“Miss memory loss? My God, what kind of ordeal is this?” mia's cry was powerless to stem the tears that had been piling up in her eyes.
Memory loss he said? Even he can remember clearly what his name is, what is the name of his parents and also his extended family.
“A-are you paid to keep me here?” his accusation looked at everyone, his face looking terrified.
“Nona Audrey, today what date?” doctor Frans asked the figure they believed was their young Audrey—nona all along.
Looks like just yesterday the feeling of tightness full of tears she felt. Losing someone precious to her life was not the girl's dream all along. Yes, Gabriel, maybe his whole life he won't be able to forget all the good Gabriel has done to him. The way the man treated him, and how Gabriel had bet his soul and body on him all along.
“Date eleven,” he said with confidence.
Doctor Frans took a long breath. “Try to tell me what Miss Audrey still remembers,” ask Doctor Frans to check the health of the girl named Audrey.
The bright brown eye bead closed for a moment, recalling what had happened to him all along.
“I came to France when my parents told me that Gabriel was in a coma. When I got to the hospital, the doctor had sentenced him to death. Gabriel .... Gabriel did not give me the opportunity to apologize or say thank you for everything he has done for me,” he explained with a gasp of breath.
Everyone there was wide-eyed, all Audrey's words seemed like a hallucination to everyone present in her private room.
“Doctor, why is Miss Audrey hallucinating?” mia asked so panicked.
“Halusination?” whispered the girl knitted her two eyebrows.
Why does everyone call her Audrey? She's not Audrey, she's Rebecca Stephanie Leticia Carollino. Everyone in France must know her because Rebecca is the fiance of Prince Niel. Did something happen to Rebecca? Or is Rebecca in a world of illusions like the comic stories she often reads as her bedtime?
“I will do a follow-up check for Miss Audrey. Let him rest first,” replied Doctor Frans.
Rebecca felt herself in a strange place. Why was he suddenly in that place?
“Tell me, what date, what month?” rebecca asked one of the servants there.
“Fifth of January, Miss Audrey,” they replied like a hard blow to Rebecca.
Rebecca turned her head to look at the calendar that was there, the servant's words were not a lie. Lest they have ordered a fake calendar just to manipulate it?
“Nona Audrey, anything you want?” mia said after taking Doctor Frans out of her young lady's room.
“Stop you guys call me Audrey! I'm not Audrey, and this isn't my home! What happened to me until this tool is here?” rebecca shouted in annoyance at the sight of the breathing apparatus and some medical devices were there with the infusion still piercing her skin.
“Miss Audrey, relax,” pinta Mia, her eyes begin to glaze over seeing her young lady change her attitude and mannerisms.
Audrey is a calm girl, does not like to argue, or can be rude to others.
‘The accident apparently made the psychic Miss Audrey shaken,’ Inner Mia began to understand the feelings of a child that her parents had suddenly abandoned.
