Adib was silent, watching the figure of the man who was now descending from his four-wheeled vehicle. The figure walked up to them, then said, "Who is this guy? Did you cheat on your future husband?" The man with a black jacket in which there is a light blue home shirt and black jeans was staring fixed Adib.
"I don't have to explain anything, Mom!" Anindi's upset. Arga, the man who came to them. It always brought a commotion whenever its presence.
"Sorry, who are you?" Adib asked Arga. From what is observed, this Arga seems to have known the figure of Anindi. Could they have a relationship? That's the question at the moment.
Arga was still staring fixed Adib from top to bottom. The black suit that the man in front of him wore was quite branded. Among the labor pasion, surely know which clothes are branded and not. Obviously Adib was wearing quite expensive clothes, that means Adib is not a random person. "I should ask, who are you?" Arga asked back.
Anindi is tired. Already worried about the place to live and the lunchbox, now he must also be confused by the behavior of the two men in front of him. Completely out of mind and expectation.
Adib tried to respond calmly. Do not let there be a trace of anger that comes out, it will only throw away the energy that has been drained because of work. "I'm Adib, Anindi's acquaintance." With great firmness and confidence, Adib introduced himself while extending his right hand.
Arga was a little upset, but welcomed the helping hand so they shook hands with each other. "I'm Arga, Anindi's ex-husband."
Arga's confession succeeded in making Adib surprised, clearly visible from the two men's eyes that were wide open. Not wanting to dispute the status of the woman, but Adib was just shocked. Didn't expect Anindi to ever be in a relationship in a marriage. Adib who thought Anindi was a woman who had never been married, apparently shot up. No problem, it's not Adib's realm to tease.
Arga continued to hold Adib's hand as if he was transferring anger energy to the man. Rendra's suit, now comes Adib. The two men who were around Anindi seemed to have a big influence and not just anyone, seen from the way he spoke and also his appearance. "Do you know that Anindi already has a future husband?" Arga.
"Mas Arga!" Anindi. It's not Arga's fault, it's Rendra. Anindi also forgets to explain to her ex-husband who Rendra really is.
Adib remained focused on Arga's talks without caring for Anindi first. "I don't know because I never disturbed the personal lives of people around me. Even if that's true, I hope Anindi gets a much better man than you!" Adib says it well.
Arga felt shunned. "What do you mean, I'm a bad guy?" One of Arga's eyebrows was raised upwards. His frustration was obvious and hard to avoid.
Adib carved out a small smile by still holding Arga's hand. "If it's obvious I don't know."
Anindi felt the tension generated from the energy of the two men in front of her. They contribute a lot of heat that radiates from each other. Good enough in cold weather, but not good also for people in the middle of both.
"I may not know why you're divorced, but I certainly won't find out about it. Anindi and I were just casual acquaintances, so I had no right to ask her more about her personal life. Except …." Adib deliberately hung up his sentence, attracting Arga's curiosity as the interlocutor.
Arga had guessed Adib's game, but was still interested. "Can you speak clearly? We're not kids anymore." Highlight Arga's eyes were so sharp, frightening as well.
The corner of Adib's right lip was raised upward, Arga was attracted. "Me and Anindi have more relationships than friends, as do married couples or maybe future married couples."
Once again Anindi's soul was made mad by Adib's words. How brave this guy is. "I'm sorry, I don't think this conversation needs to be done." Anindi tried to break up both.
Arga let go of the hand, and so did Adib. This time Arga's gaze turned to Anindi and said, "Actually what are you doing halfway like this with this man? Is your husband not angry? It turns out that it was my decision to divorce you, it could have been behind me too you secretly met another man."
Anindi gawking. What painful words is this? Accusations that don't even have proof.
"You don't download people haphazardly without proof!" You are just angry and upset. Every word that comes out of Arga's mouth is too painful for a woman. He clearly acted. "And again, you also have no right to know Anindi's personal problems. Your relationship with him is over, it means that it has already broken all obligations of Anindi to report anything!"
Arga glanced at the cynical Adib. "I think I smell an affair here." Arga was still constant according to his short thinking. "Am I right?"
Adib's right hand clenched, already impatient. If not out of respect for Anindi who had been seen holding back anger, obviously Arga was exhausted in his hands. Downloading others without proof can be the most cruel source of slander and hurt the person. That is what Adib hates most.
"Stop!" Anindi shouted by covering both ears with her hands. His chest was tight, all Arga's words were painful. Want to feel protesting to God, why must he meet with Arga again? But he has struggled to forget all the painful memories given by the man in his past. "I'm tired! Can you guys shut up?" For the first time Anindi shouted in front of the two men. His patience was as thin as a tissue this time, it was hard to resist. Even if obeyed, his anger could explode.
Adib couldn't stand it. His emotions were lured out, his right hand was raised up and his right index finger pointed towards Arga with two angry eyeballs. "Dragon your mouth!" The man's chest rose and fell holding back the anger that could have come out rushing and was hard to control. "You have no right to judge anyone good or bad because you can only see as long as your eyes see. Are you much better yourself? I'm sure there's a good reason why Anindi divorced you!"
Anindi surprised. Adib defended him, giving help for the humiliation Arga had done. Pretty great.
Arga clapped his hands twice, his thinking remained the same. "That means my words are true, you and Anindi are having an affair."
Anindi is raising both pupils of the eye, this Arga is completely out of bounds. He quickly looked closely at Arga and said, "Mas, should I be honest with something so that you understand how the situation is? But, I don't think that's necessary."
Adib quiet. His hands back down.
Arga felt an aura of hatred from the look in Anindi's eyes, the woman was not doing well. "If you feel innocent, you have to be honest. Because, I would still consider you a bad woman if there was no clarification from you forever."
"Please take care of your mouth! I could've beaten you up by now, but I'd rather have my hands clean!" Again Adib warned.
Arga nodded his head twice. "Ok, I could have been quiet. But, I must first hear the explanation from Anindi. How's it?" The glance of Arga's eyes was so sharp on Anindi, forcing the woman to give an explanation that could satisfy her curiosity.
Anindi agrees. He should be honest with everyone, but not his mother. Obviously everyone will think he has a future husband, it is because of the words of Rendra who did not consider the adverse effects in the future.
Adib's heart pounded violently, it felt like he was waiting for the verdict of the trial. Though he himself did not know Anindi very well, but there was a little gap in the heart that hoped it was not true. Hope so.
Anindi knew the rough breathing, preparing to explain this to Arga. After that, Anindi hoped that Arga would no longer harass her.
"All right." Anindi is ready. Staring at Arga with clinging. "Listen to this, my dear, for I have only explained it once."
Arga nodded quickly. "Ok, I hope your explanation doesn't disappoint."
Adib said nothing, groggy himself. This is crazy, isn't it? It shouldn't be like this.
"The man who met Mas in those two places wasn't my future husband!" Anindi asserted, even her right index finger was pointing in front. "Anyways, he's not my husband-to-be. So, you don't have to assume me and the guy in front of this are having an affair." This time Anindi's index hand is pointing at Adib.
No doubt there is a sense of relief in Arga's chest, this is strange.
Arga still doesn't believe it. He needs to go deeper. "Is that true?" Just keep pushing Anindi. "I see, that guy named Rendra always looks at you lovingly. So, I guess I'm a little less trusting."
"Rendra?" Adib was surprised while asking back.
Arga glanced at Adib. "Yes, his name is Rendra. I remember when he introduced himself."
Adib pensive, is it impossible? The name is used by many people, not just their siblings. Adib doesn't have to worry. Aman however, his brain which had a sharp enough memory ability recorded a sentence that his sister had once said.
"Whatever the name is, it's none of Mas's business anymore! So, I beg you to stop harassing my personal life!" Anindi warns Arga once again, she is tired.
Adib was swept away in his own puzzle. Instead of heat, the young man took out a cell phone in his pocket. Looking for a portrait of the younger brother in order to ascertain the truth.
Got it, Adib thrust the phone screen in front of Arga's eyes and said, "Is this the guy? The man you consider to be Anindi's future husband."
