Me, You, And the Journey of Life

Me, You, And the Journey of Life
Rendra Again

Anindi was silent for a moment. Observing the tall figure who was now standing upright while extending his right hand. "Sorry." The woman refused. Choose to ask to be lifted the bike, while he will stand alone.

"Ok, you asked." The figure that turns out Rendra was only helping to set up the motorbike. After that, Anindi was all her might to wake up on her own.

Anindi motorbike on the right side, precisely behind Rendra's car. "You can be alone?" Rendra asked once more. Maybe Anindi asked for help.

Anindi nodded slowly, dragging her right leg which felt heavier to step because of the motor body. For not too heavy an injury, only a wound.

Anindi sat on the outskirts of the fruit merchant. Some customers who were there and the owner of the fruit kiosk approached. Not to forget Anindi was given a drink to be calmer.

"Mom, are you going to the hospital?" asked the fruit trader, a middle-aged man who was estimated to be half a century old. His smile was friendly, his aura was calming.

Anindi shook her head. "No need, sir. The injury is small, really." Reply to a small smile.

Rendra stood in front of Anindi, looked at the girl's right leg and said, "We'd better get her to the hospital." Anindi fears she will be in pain after a few days, if not checked. "I'll drive my car."

Anindi felt no need. "no need. It will heal too."

"You're a stubborn woman, yes." Rendra was inexhaustible. Crouching in front of Anindi, looking at the woman's right leg. "If it's not handled quickly, you might not be able to get there. You want?" Rendra's head was raised upwards.

"That's it, Ma'am." The owner of the cake shop confirmed. Because even small injuries will definitely have an impact on health. Therefore, it is better to handle it as soon as possible. "Mas, this is absolutely true. Small injuries can also have an impact on health."

Anindi fell silent, weighing in first. Because, if you go to the hospital, it means he needs to spend more. This is a pretty damning thing.

Rendra noticed Anindi, a fine stroke on the woman's forehead signifying implied anxiety. "Don't worry about anything!" The man stood up again. His voice sounded very firm. "Get in the car and we're going to the hospital."

Anindi refused firmly again. However, Rendra was more resolute. They were at odds for about half an hour, until finally the decision to go to the hospital was taken as well. Anindi was helped by a young woman who had just come to the fruit shop.

Anindi sat in the back seat, the woman also carried with her a small bag that was often carried. Sitting quietly without looking ahead, just paying attention to the side streets that feel more beautiful than behind the car glass.

Rendra focused forward, driving quietly. Occasionally glancing at Anindi from the windshield, they were silent without any talk.

The road suddenly jammed because there was an accident in front. Forced Rendra's car to stop like the others. "Your mom's healthy? Already out of the hospital yet?" Suddenly Rendra remembered the figure of the woman full of love and warmth. It has been almost five days not met, apparently there is a shackling longing. However, it cannot be delivered because Rendra himself does not know the Anindi family very well.

Anindi had just turned her head, accidentally meeting a look with Rendra. The woman looked down again. "Alhamdulillah, I'm healthy. I'm home today."

The question could not be answered by Anindi. It feels if it is said to be totally healthy, obviously not. Physically healthy, but for memory. The mother had not remembered much of the little things. Just like when his mother saw the wedding photo with his father, his mother did not remember a single thing.

Anindi gave a rough sigh. It's so hard to say.

Rendra's speechless. Seeing Anindi's reaction certainly had a lot of burden. "With Him to go home, it is healthy. If you focus too much on his memory, maybe it can be said not completely." I don't know why the man seemed wise when he spoke. No one would have thought if the man had ever done anything crazy.

Anindi smiled a little. "It should be like that, but I'm still a little sad. Mother, not much to remember the moment about the late Father and me. Like, I thought the late Father was someone else. It hurts, it's probably just my feeling."

Rendra again quite noticed Anindi who was looking down. The woman very much avoided meeting her two eyes with other people, pretty good as well. "That's the name of the process, a person who loses a lot of memory must forget the most precious moment in his life. Whether it's a couple or a sweet incident. That is why, we as people around must help little by little. Don't be too pushy either."

Anindi. Rendra's words have a point as well, but it still can not justify the lies Anindi with Rendra who plays as a married couple.

Rendra remembered something. "Does your mother still consider me your husband?" Curious too. Usually, people who experience amnesia will still believe what first comes to mind.

Anindi was silent with her face down. That's the hardest thing now, even the woman has run out of sense to give a reason for what else for her mother.

"I guessed it." Rendra did not need an answer, Anindi's reaction was explained well.

The traffic has not broken down well. The accident that resulted in a long traffic jam also caused Rendra and Anindi to be trapped in one vehicle. The distance to the nearest hospital probably won't be long from here, if there's no accident.

Rendra straightened out the view forward. There is one sentence you want to say, but it is difficult to open your mouth. Whether this is true or not. Clearly, his heart continued to be tormented because of this as well.

"Actually, now I'm confused." Anindi started to open up. Because, this Rendra became the main factor of his concern. The girl let out a rough sigh, it was obvious that she was confused. "Mom kept asking where you were, when I told you you were out of town."

Rendra put on a smile, quite funny too. "really?"

Anindi once again sighed heavily again while nodding quickly. "really. I'm going crazy what else to answer, if Mom asks that again. However, I cannot explain in more detail. The doctor advised to wait first."

Anindi is at the lowest point. I want to scream loud. However, his voice was already exhausted to the bottom. Ah, this is crazy. Until it's hard to run.

"Do you want to continue our drama? I'm a good writer. Can make a groove well that's certainly interesting." Rendra looked back, along with Anindi who raised her head. Their eyes accidentally met each other in the middle of the noisy horn of another vehicle that was impatiently waiting.
