33. And I Became Your Mass

🖤🖤🖤

Intan stepped slowly down the hospital corridor.

He saw the white wall wall behind the wall must save the sorrow of patients who always ask for healing to the creator.

His legs arrived stiff only because he saw Enggar standing in the doorway. The guy peeked inside, as if he wanted to get closer to Meli and hugged the frail body.

Intan smiled bitterly and approached. He called out weakly the name Enggar, made his man hurriedly turn his head then smile and scramble his hair. "Gue was astonished. Lo here want to see Meli what mode want to see me?"

"Gue wants to talk to you." Intan looked around. "The cake is good. Meli's sister's taking care of her, right?"

Enggar nodded, "from yesterday you were always serious. I want to take it seriously. To the nope?"

"Stop kidding," Intan responded while pulling a step towards the hospital garden.

🖤🖤🖤

As beautiful as any hospital park, whose name is where the sick person still looks heartbreaking.

2 The teenager stepped onto an empty bench and then fell silent for a while just to enjoy the atmosphere around.

"Where's the novel?" Intan chose to buy his time.

"Udah is over, good story. But I don't cry like Nindi's guess. He made sure I cried but didn't prove it." Enggar laughed dismissively at Nindi.

Intan chuckled for a moment. "As promised. Do you want to tell me a story?"

Enggar nodded. He started his story and occasionally showed scenes that he remembered.

The story that made Intan momentarily looked at Enggar with another perspective. "Finally, this guy messed up because he didn't say his love from the beginning. Now he's lost his best friend and his love."

Intan nodded. Simply, the story was enough to illustrate that the position of Intan as if in the role of an antagonist.

Then silence.

"Gue was right at school did not go straight home," opened Intan while looking at the elderly who were in wheelchairs accompanied by a man in his 40s.

He turned, "what is Eskul?"

Intan shook his head, then looked at the grass below him. "Nothing. I just now, abis nerima lo message, I immediately nyariin lo. Think I, I want to persuade Brother Reyan so you can anter me to rs."

Enggar turned his head and looked at Intan straight. "Where do I go?"

"To your class."

Enggar's back suddenly became firm, his body stiffened just because he heard a short speech that Intan had thrown just now. "Tan? You really going to my class?"

Intan really could not bear to not cry, he closed his eyes and nodded. "Yes, I'm actually going to your class."

His right hand raised to smother his mouth, he should not sob. "Gue, I'm horrifying all."

Enggar's heart felt like it was going to explode, he rubbed the back of Intan's hand and shook his head. "Intan, with my explanation first huh?"

"That was––hiks––has been quite clear––hiks––lo gaperlu added kak." Intan is now sobbing. He shook his head to convince himself that crying was unnecessary.

"Certain.plis." He nodded asking for time.

Now Intan wiped her tears. "Gini, brother. I told you to read the novel because you know what?"

"Because you want to read the story in a different way?" Enggar answered fretfully, he did not want to discuss this, he wanted to discuss what Intan heard at the school earlier.

"Yes. And one more thing. I want you to realize, if the position of you and the guy in the novel is the same. If you can just be the guy's cake because it's too late to realize." Intan began to shed his tears back and immediately he rubbed the clear circle.

Enggar now rubbed the top of Intan's head then shook his head. "Gue really chose you at that time. And I don't want––"

"Mom...." Enggar did not know to say especially when all he could do was mention his maiden name.

"Click, ask your heart. Face it, don't be a coward, you need answers. Don't run away brother." Intan takes a deep breath to neutralize the tightness due to too long sobbing.

"Gue, I've met you Tan. I said, if you are my choice."

Intan shook his head. "Click."

Intan pulled Enggar's arm to stand up. He handed over the handycam that Refa had given him. "This, this thing will help you answer what your heart is about."

"Intan, don't gini dong."

Intan rubbed his eyes slowly. "Yes, I won't cry if you take this care of your heart." Intan points towards the liver organ is located. Not where the heart is.

"Gue wants to be the same. I still don't want to see Meli. You need me.".

"Fin' there." Point Intan towards the entrance of the building. "Sir Meli again waiting for you. He needs you a lot more.".

"It's not you who needs me, but I need you. Plis don't tell me to go there."

Intan tries not to cry back. He seemed to want to hug Enggar but was held back because it could not be done or maybe he could never do. "Gue want to follow me 3 things."

Enggar was silent and then pulled Intan's hand to be gripped. "What?"

"First." Intan pointed to Enggar's chest area.  "You answer your heart to choose Kak Meli, it means we broke up. But if not, it means you have to keep trying to move heart."

"It's not a request, it's a compulsion."

Intan did not care about Enggar's response. "Two. I'm sorry."

"Lo's not wrong."

"I'm sorry if––" Intan was silent, unable to answer.

"What t-shirt?"

"I said it." Continue with a soft voice. He did not look into Enggar's eyes.

"Where is Tan going?"

Intan shook his head. "I'm sorry."

Enggar was about to grab Intan's hand but the girl swiftly brushed it off and refused. "Three. Don't chase me. Don't follow me,"

"So!" Resist Enggar, "gue gamau follow all unreasonable requests lo."

"Telakin!" Intan snapped loudly. He walked away but again. Enggar prevented his move.

So Intan simply issued a short sentence that Enggar could always understand. "Gue needs time alone."

"Gue gapeduli's. I want you to stay here Tan, I choose you."

"Lo selfish, follow or I hate you."

After saying so Intan was free.

Done it. Problem solved.

The story is finished.
