"Doctor Ghani, we go first. Let's." Let's." Two women in white uniforms bowed respectfully as they passed from before Ghani. That morning the two women attended a meeting led by Ghani, as the director of the hospital where he had sought sustenance.
With an expressionless face Ghani replied, "Hmm, please."
Ghani immediately tidied up the sheets of paper scattered on the table, making them one with another file. Then he got up from his chair and stepped out of the meeting room.
"Capek, sleepy again. Is this the effect I've been staying up too much so the body doesn't feel good because of this." Ghani flanks his luggage in the armpits and massages the shoulders slowly in the hope that pain in the surrounding area can be reduced.
When passing the reception desk, accidentally met one of the office boys who passed in front of him. Sontak Ghani called the 18-year-old.
"Mas Arifin's. Please make me some coffee. Half the scroll and deliver it to my study," Ghani told his subordinates.
Arifin nodded then resigned from before Ghani. The young man rushed to do his job, making coffee for the hospital director.
"Excuse me, this is Doctor Ghani's coffee." Arifin stood in the doorway while carrying a tray made of wood. It had not moved from its place before it allowed the owner of the room to step forward.
"Oh you turned out. Enter, Mas. Coffee please just put it on the table, I'll drink it after all this work is done."
"All right, Doc." Then Arifin put a cup of black coffee on Ghani's desk, then left the room after doing his job well. He re-occupied himself, doing other work that awaited him earlier.
Eyes closed, inhaling the distinctive aroma of delicious coffee that spoils the smell. "Eum, it looks like a pleasure. I can't wait to get spitty." Slowly, but surely, the black viscous liquid gradually entered through the throat.
After feeling more refreshed, Ghani resumed his activities, checking the work reports of all the doctors in the legacy hospital of the late beloved grandmother. But apparently, the effect of coffee consumed by Ghani only lasted about 2 hours because lately he was a lot of staying up late, doing surgery and compiling a work report to be submitted to Rayyan, the father.
"Dam. Why do I still feel sleepy, even though I have finished a cup of coffee. I think the effect of staying up late makes my body resistant to caffeine," grumbled Ghani while continuing to yawn. Eyes closed, the head shook slowly to get rid of the drowsiness that continues to come in the way.
Unable to withstand the drowsiness, Ghani finally decided to move the place from his proud chair to the long sofa in his study.
"I'd better take a nap. Danger if you continue to sleepy, work can fall apart because I can not focus on working." Then he laid his body on the sofa with both hands crossed in front of his chest. Slowly, the pair of narrowed eyes closed and soon a subtle snoring sounded, indicating that the father of one had sailed to the island of Kapok.
A gust of wind hit the face making Ghani's eyelids move and the man's plump eyelashes move as well. He felt like he had just fallen asleep for a few seconds on the sofa in his room.
Grows slowly and then straightens his body. "Well, I'm here. I wasn't in the room, was I?" Ghani rubbed his eyes a few times and then spread his gaze around. Ghani is currently in an alien lake that he has never been to before.
"Surprisingly, why am I here. Is there someone who brought my body here? If yes, who? Is he still alive until he dares to deal with me?" muttered Ghani, asking himself why he woke up in a foreign place like this.
Ghani got up from her seat and was about to step up, but a puff of white smoke distracted her. His reflexes turned him towards the direction where the puff had appeared.
"Queensha's? Honey, what are you doing here? Who are you here with? Who are the three little kids you're holding?" cecar Ghani saw his wife appear shortly after the white cloud disappeared from sight.
Queensha smiled sweetly, looking at her husband with a loving look. "They're our kids, Mom. I came here on purpose to ask our three children to meet their Papa. He said .. They miss you so much."
Queensha looked down at the three children. "Honey, let's say hello to your Papa. He said he wanted to see Papa."
The three Queensha children greeted their father. The typical lisp sound of a small child is heard in Ghani's ear making the corner of the man's lips pulled upwards. White light covered the faces of the three Ghani children so that the man could not see what the face of his love fruit was like.
"Mas, me and our three children say goodbye first. You take good care of yourself, do not eat late. And ... I also tipped Rora, take care of her and take good care of our daughter."
The three children in Queensha's arms waved before Ghani. "Papa's Container! We're happy to meet you" they said almost simultaneously.
Sontak Ghani was shocked when he saw the body of Queensha and her three children walking away from her. He ran, trying to chase them. "Queensha, return! What do you mean by that? Where are you going, why pay me all?" shouting loudly, asking for his wife's explanation.
"Queensha Azura Gunawan, I warned you to come back here! I'm not insisting you go take our three children!" Ghani was still screaming, but Queensha was deaf, not hearing a loud voice coming from her husband.
The longer Queensha's figure shrinks from view. Then the mad body and his three loves with Ghani disappeared along with the lightning and thunder booming, stopping right in front of Ghani.
"Queensha!"
Ghani awoke from his sleep in a state of body flooded with sweat. Breathing is great and the heartbeat feels irregular.
"I was just a dream" Ghani said when he realized he was in his study, not on the edge of a deserted lake.
"But why does it feel like real. Is this a hunch that something bad is going to happen to my wife?" Shake your head quickly, getting rid of negative thoughts that disturb your head. "No, I'm fine. He's safe in the apartment."
There was a big push for Ghani to turn on the phone that he had switched off. Unlock dozens of incoming messages through the WhatsApp application. One of the many incoming messages managed to steal his attention.
"Fuck! This message was sent ten minutes ago. That means when I'm still sleeping." Without a second thought Ghani immediately dialed his wife's number, calling his wife. However, Queensha did not pick up the phone call.
"Damn! Go where is he? Is it possible he's on his way and his cell phone's silent mode until he doesn't hear a call from me?" Ghani ruffled his hair in frustration. The pieces of the incident had danced beautifully in his mind.
When the mind was in a state of turmoil, God seemed to give a way out for Ghani. Leon, his true friend came into the room with a work report file.
"Yon, my driver. I'm going to follow Queensha. Come on, walk now!" Ghani opened the desk drawer, took the car keys and wallet and put them in his pants pocket.
Leon looks confused. "What is this, Ghan? Why do you look so panicked."
"long story. Anyway now we have to catch up with Queensha. She's meeting Lulu again at their local meatball stall."
Hearing the name of the lover called, Leon immediately ran after Ghani who had first stepped out of the room. The two men waited at the door of the elevator that would take them to the hospital lobby.
As the elevator doors clang and opened, a white woman said, "Doctor Ghani, what a coincidence that he met you here. There are emergency patients and they need immediate help. This operation can only be performed by a doctor."
Two Asian-faced men looked at each other. Why in this crucial moment there are obstacles coming in the way.
"Lo do it, let me take Queensha."
Ghani seemed doubtful as to whether his decision gave responsibility to pick Queensha up to Leon whether it was appropriate.
"Gue must have kept your bini well. I promise."
Ghani nodded in agreement when he saw the glare of earnest eyes emanated in the pair of eyes of the friend. Patting Leon's shoulder. "Gue hold your words. Whatever happens, keep Queensha and anterin him in front of me safely."
"Sure!"
