Should I Agree?

Bianca fell silent, digesting what she had just heard. Is Sintia joking?

"You must think this is crazy. My mother thought the same thing before. But, Bianca, it's to save everyone" Sintia said.

Bianca turned her gaze to the boy nearby. Daniel looked at him expectantly, hoping that Bianca would agree with the best effort she could make.

"Think of the baby in your womb, think of your parents. Forgive Mama for giving unwise advice, but the fate of your family and our family is in this decision" Sintia said.

Bianca is speechless. He did not know why the two men gave an idea that was difficult to accept by common sense. How could Daniel replace his brother in the marriage?

"How will people respond, Ma? Daniel even just graduated from school, shouldn't he be going to college?" ask Bianca.

"Only the closest people know about you and Darren. Most just know the point, that your family and our family will be besan, they will not care who the bridegroom is" explained Sintia.

"Don't worry about me, brother. I can continue my education even though I am married" Daniel said.

"I don't think this is a good idea" said Bianca.

There are a lot of things to consider when making this big decision. In order to protect her family's self-esteem from embarrassment, Bianca must be willing to do everything, as well as for the sake of the baby in her womb. But does this have to be the way?

How could Bianca marry a boy Daniel's age? He just graduated High School, and isn't a teenager Daniel's age still playing games? How could he possibly be a husband, father, and head of the household?

"Think about it, honey. You don't know what to do, maybe this is all you can do." Sintia grabbed both of Bianca's hands and grasped them tightly.

"Sister, you must doubt me. But trust me, I'll do my best" Daniel said.

As Bianca fell silent and thought, her phone rang again. It was a call to both of his parents. They must have been very worried because Bianca never told me.

Sintia looked at the phone screen and handed the flat object to Bianca's hand.

"Hello, Ma" replied Bianca. He tried to set his tone so that his parents did not know that he was in trouble.

["Honey, why don't you answer the phone? Is everything okay? We have arrived at the airport"] replied the mother from a phone call.

"Sorry, Ma. The party preparations kept me busy, I forgot to check my phone," Bianca replied lying. Anyway, what can he say at the moment.

["It's okay, honey. We're just worried."]

In the end, Bianca agreed. It seems like this is the only option. Darren has broken his heart, his life, and his future. But the man must not destroy the feelings of Bianca's parents.

Hearing Bianca's approval, Sintia was relieved. Although he had to give up his youngest child to bear all the mistakes he did not do, but Sintia was proud. Daniel was the savior of their family.

After serious talks, Sintia said no to return home soon. Daniel decides to keep Bianca company to make sure that she will be okay.

After delivering Sintia in front of the house, Daniel returned to Bianca's room with a few pieces of fresh fruit that had been peeled.

"Eat, Brother. I know you didn't eat from yesterday, pity the baby in your stomach" Daniel said.

"Why do you want to do this?" ask Bianca.

"Do what?"

"Replace Darren."

"I wouldn't say that I replaced my brother to marry you, Brother. I'm doing this because I want to, I want to marry you" Daniel replied.

Bianca flabbergasted, what is this? What did that boy mean?

"Don't think too much, brother. Now you have to eat and rest, take care of your health and the baby" Daniel continued.

After making sure Bianca finished the fruits she was carrying, Daniel left Bianca so that she could rest.

When Daniel is no longer nearby, Bianca opens the phone screen and sees the green messaging app.

Now, he openly saw his best friend had put up a status that showed his affection with Darren.

Vania, a friend who has accompanied him in difficulty and happy since he was in High School. The woman knew very well that Bianca loved Darren very much, but unexpectedly, she was the one who destroyed everything.
