Brother Remain Brother

Daniel waited anxiously for the afternoon, calling Bianca repeatedly and telling his wife he could not go home.

No matter what Bianca thinks, she doesn't ask much and just asks Daniel to be careful while driving.

Daniel had seen a temporary bill from the hospital for Vania's delivery and baby care, the value was quite large, and it made Daniel worried.

"Daniel" said someone as Daniel sat in the waiting room eating a loaf of bread. He even skipped lunch and felt hungry.

"Sister." Daniel turned his head, seeing Darren approaching him.

"What are you doing here?" ask Darren.

"Bianca asked me to look at your situation. I've been here since noon, where have you been?"

"Bianca asked for you?" Darren asked without giving any explanation about his missing self for several hours.

"Hm." Daniel nodded. "Do you need anything?" tanyakanya.

"No." Darren shakes. His gaze was empty, he was daydreaming.

"Your son is critical, I'm willing to be his guardian because the doctor needs a signature to provide medical attention. Where have you been?"

"Is he okay? Thank you" Darren replied.

"Sister, I asked, where have you been? Your son and wife are in trouble at the hospital, but you're not there to accompany them!" reprove Daniel.

"I'm on urgent business, Danial. Sorry to bother you."

Daniel feels that Darren is hiding something from him. Daniel kept trying to get Darren to talk. At the very least, he is willing to help if needed.

"I'm ashamed to bother you, I'm ashamed to trouble others." That's all Darren said.

"Tell me the truth, brother. Do you have a problem? You in trouble?"

Darren took a deep breath before explaining about his predicament over the past few months. Moreover, all the companies did not want to accept it and Vania was even expelled from the campus where she taught. Darren says that this is the punishment of Bianca's parents.

"Now I understand how hard it is to find a job and make money. In the past, I hung my life on Mama and Papa, when they didn't care, I kind of lost my world" Darren explained.

"I'm aware of my mistake, Daniel." Darren. He closed his eyes while covering his face. In view of his attitude, Darren must have regretted all this a long time ago, only he had felt hopeless in his life.

"There were some friends who told me. His company rejected me because of Mr. Abraham's hand. I'm not angry, I understand why he did it" Darren said.

Daniel seemed silent for a moment. She felt more and more sorry for her brother's fate.

"Did Bianca know?" ask Darren.

"Looks not. He's not that kind of person."

"Then don't tell him. Don't make father and son misunderstand each other. I'll try to do it myself" Darren said.

Daniel gave no answer, he just kept quiet and listened. As it was almost night, Daniel finally decided to go home. Seeing his brother's condition alone had made his heart relieved.

"Wear this, brother. It's not much, but it's enough to support your wife and child and your needs for a while." Daniel handed over his ATM card before leaving.

"No, Daniel. I don't want to bother you."

"Do you want the hospital to expel you? Your son needs treatment! Accept it."

"But, Daniel ...."

"I have to go home, take good care of your wife's children." Daniel left his ATM card on the chair. He left Darren alone.

Seeing how his sister behaved, Darren was not surprised. Daniel did grow up with a kind and generous heart since childhood. But he did not expect that his sister still cared after what he had done all this time.

Arriving at home, Daniel saw his wife was busy in the kitchen. Bianca cooks for their dinner menu while listening to music.

"Dear," said Daniel. He approached, hugged and kissed Bianca.

"You're home yet? Take a shower and change your clothes."

"I'm sorry, all day I ...."

"Don't apologize, I know." Bianca cut Daniel's sentence and smiled.

"I know you're a good man, in your little heart you still care about your brother. That's why I fell in love with you" Bianca said.
