Is This the reason?

Daniel and Bianca spent over an hour eating lunch together. After a long time, this was the first time they had eaten out of the house together even though it was only in the office cafeteria.

Daniel saw Bianca smile more often. The woman had also spoken normally and no longer looked glum or cried suddenly. It was one of the proofs that Daniel was able to be a solace as well as a cure for Bianca's grief.

"You want some ice cream?" ask Daniel.

Daniel walked to an ice cream stand not far from where they were sitting. Daniel brought a large cup of mint-flavored ice cream with a strawberry cut on it.

"Hmm, looks good," Bianca muttered after the ice cream landed in front of her.

"Do you remember my favorite ice cream flavor?" bianca asked while tasting the ice cream in front of her.

"Of course, I remember everything you liked."

"really?" Bianca. Where maybe Daniel can know a lot about it, but in the past they were only familiar limited to prospective brothers-in-law and prospective sister-in-law.

"Did he bother you?" ask Bianca.

"I skipped the first lesson knowing that he was my lecturer" Daniel replied.

"Why? You don't have to do it. Let's put aside personal problems and prioritize education" said Bianca.

"How can I look face to face with a woman like her for two hours, while she is the mastermind of the pain my wife is suffering from" Daniel said.

Bianca let out a long sigh, she grabbed Daniel's hand as she said, "Now I'm fine."

"He was a good friend. We've known him since High School. He comes from a wealthy family, but about a year ago, his father went to prison for money laundering. His mother died of a heart attack. At that time, your brother and I were in France to celebrate our anniversary. So, I don't know anything when he's in a tough time."

"I've been in France for almost a month, while your brother's been home in the first place. Since then, Vania has been shy and quiet. Daniel was silent for a while and listened to all the Bianca stories well.
