Chapter 50 Hope Jeff

This weekend, Jeff took Juwita out. Juwita thought Jeff would take him for a walk to fill their quality time like every weekend they have been through so far. Juwita was very happy, the smile carving never separated from the corners of the lips on her sweet face.

Until finally Juwita realized in which direction Jeff took him away a few minutes later. The smile gradually disappeared along with not a word coming out of Juwita's mouth.

"Why bring me here?" ask Juwita.

They have reached their destination. But Juwita seems reluctant to go down even though Jeff has opened the car door for him.

"We'll finish it all today here, Juwita!" answer Jeffsa.

"It's all done a long time ago, Jeff! I ... forever don't want to set foot here again." Juwita took a deep breath, then threw it into the air before turning away from her husband's gaze.

"You don't want to come down?" ask Jeffsa.

"No!" answer Juwita briefly.

Juwita is reluctant to see the loyal Jeff waiting for her. Then shut the door of the car that Jeff had previously opened for him. But it failed because Jeff had already held it.

"I know this place is like a nightmare to you. I know I'm just gonna make you think back to that hard time,-"

"Then why are you still bringing me here?" cut Juwita.

That face was red. Not out of shame, but out of hatred and anger that has not been completely extinguished in the depths of his heart.

Jeff responded to Juwita's anger with a smile. He knew it would end up like this. But Jeff is a man, besides he's also the head of the family. So he was obliged to make sure his family members lived a quiet and comfortable life. Freed from the shackles of the dark past that sometimes still transformed into a nightmare that approached Juwita in her night sleep.

"Don't I just say it, Wi? I want to end it all today" Jeffsa replied.

That punch, that hunger and that hateful gaze Juwita could still remember everything clearly. So why did he have to come in. What would Jeff do to end it all?

"Wi, I know how you feel. But now it's different. There used to be only Sadewa protecting you, but now it is not the same anymore. Besides him, there's still anggara. Then don't you see me standing in front of you. Didn't I always protect you, Wi?" jeff said at length.

Hearing that, Juwita immediately hugged Jeffsa. Juwita knows everything is different. We know Jeff will protect her. But to get back into this house, Juwita really did not dare.

"I'm afraid" said Juwita lirih.

Damn, Juwita actually did not want to cry. But those tears fell too. On the one hand, Juwita feels guilty if he does not obey what Jeffsa said. But on the other hand Juwita was terrified. Wanting how else, he also did not want to be like this but his hands did not even stop shaking from just now.

"What if I can't get out again after I get in. What if I can't see and hug you again like this after this. How about in there they are,-"

"St! I promise it won't happen. I promise I'll take you out with me. So don't be afraid because I'll always hold your hand. So, will you come in there with me?" talk to Jeff again.

Juwita raised her head. Looking at Jeff's shady face fixedly for a while. Really, he doesn't want to go. But seeing the face of the man who always patiently faced her made Juwita nod her head as a sign of agreement.

Juwita finally came down. Walk side by side holding tightly Jeffsa's hand towards his adoptive parent's house. There's not much Juwita does. He just keeps following Jeff wherever he goes. While Jeff glanced at Juwita for a while, then smiled knot and tightened his hand grip so that Juwita felt safe.

Jeff knew the flames of anger were still burning in Juwita's heart. Jeff knew it was impossible for Juwita to erase those bitter memories. Jeff also won't ask Juwita to forgive them later. It's just that Jeff doesn't want any hatred in Juwita's heart from today.

Jeff wants Juwita to slowly come to terms with that sad past. Then remember his past from a different side. The past may be dark, but that doesn't mean everything isn't beautiful. There must still be some sweet memories forgotten because Juwita prefers to remember the sad part.

Jeff did this not for no reason. The first reason is, because he loves Juwita. Then the next reason is because Juwita will be a mother. "Areally who's our guest today?" ask Mama Reta.

In that place there are Papa Albert, Mama Reta, Anggara, and twins Anggita and Anggika. They had already sat for half an hour in the living room at Anggara's request. But no one came.

"They're coming soon" Anggara replied.

Not long after that, a maid arrived. Reported to them that there were two guests who wanted to meet them. Anggara who knew who the guest in question immediately got up. Pick up Jeff and Juwita to let them in.

"Ma, Pa, our guest is here!" anggara.

The four men looked at him at the same time. Seeing clearly who dared to make them wait for more than half an hour in this living room.

Anggara walked ahead. Then let Jeff and Juwita sit not far from where he sat. Angita and Anggika are still indifferent. Just glanced for a moment before returning busy with the gadget in his hands. Papa Albert smiled cynically. Hope Jeff and Juwita's arrival is not for begging.

"Why, have you realized who you are. Are you here to take Juwita back here?" mama Reta asked with a mocking smile.

"Ma, watch your mom talk!" anggara. But Mama Reta did not heed Anggara's words and increasingly acted haughty. The woman had even typed a message to her bodyguard to get ready out there.

The atmosphere became silent for a moment. Jeff knew his arrival was not welcome, Jeff also knew they were ready to hold Juwita. So, before Juwita was getting scared Jeff immediately expressed the purpose of his arrival here.

"How much did Dante give you that you were willing to give Juwita to him?" ask Jeffsa.

"It's none of your business!" answer Papa Albert.

"Juwita is my wife and you will hand her over to another man. So how could it not be my business?" jeffsa.

Mama Reta smiled cynically. Thought Jeff was crazy for daring to ask how much money Dante would give him.

"Are you sure you want to know how much he'll give you?" ask Mama Reta.

Angita who had been silent began to speak. Follow jeering Jeff just like his parents did. "Poor men like you, maybe you can pee in your pants if you know how many nominal."

Now it was Jeff's turn to smile cynically. Still relaxed even though they insulted him. But not with Juwita because the woman had started to claustrophobic even just to breathe.

Anggara who realized Juwita was not okay finally spoke up. Asking his mom and dad to immediately mention how nominal so that Jeff immediately silenced their arrogance with a check that Jeff had provided.

"Ma, Pa, just say it!" anggara. Even though Anggara knows how many but he wants his parents to say it.

Mama Reta glanced at her husband for a moment, before nodding her head in agreement to say a nominal amount that was much greater than the amount of their actual debt.

"One trillion!" answer Mama Reta.

Anggara wanted to get up, but Jeff held him back. He didn't want to fuss just because they raised the amount of 'price' he would have to pay if Juwita wanted to stay.

"If I give you a trillion dollars, you shouldn't mind if I ask you to sever the parent-child relationship between you and Juwita right?" ask Jeffsa.

Hearing Jeff so casually say that Juwita finally raised his head as well. What Jeff just said. A trillion? Is Jeff seriously gonna give you that kind of money. All right, Juwita's happy that Jeff actually gave it away. But where does that kind of money Jeff got?

Jeff who knew what Juwita wanted to say only smiled faintly. Then shook his head as a sign so that Juwita did not need to worry.

"Of course" replied Papa Albert.

Of course that answer was interspersed with condescending laughter. Stubborn like Jeffsa where might have that kind of money.

"Then please sign here!" pinta Jeffsa while removing a piece of paper with a battery containing their agreement.

Mama Reta and Papa Albert skimmed, then saw Jeff together. "Don't joke!" mama Reta said.

If it was Angita who scorned, now it's Anggika's turn to call Jeff poor. "You poor people can't have that kind of money. Give it up, go home and leave Juwita here."

But Anggika's scorn is not understood Jeff at all because Jeff prefers to respond to the doubts of Mama Reta. "I'm not kidding. So sign the deal so I can hand over that trillion to you guys" Jeffsa said.

Though hesitating, the two eventually signed as well. The results will be equally beneficial for them. If Jeff doesn't have the money, they just need to hold Juwita and hand him over to Dante. But if Jeff has the money, then they will profit more because Dante is willing to give 850 billion while Jeff gives a trillion. Jeff's not that stupid. All they had just signed was a letter of agreement. Although quite strong, but it did not make Jeff satisfied before the parent and child relationship was resolved. So before the cancellation of the adoption was complete, Jeff wouldn't hand over a trillion to them.
