Chapter 20 I Resigned

"Why so many?" inward Juwita arrived at the office and heard the noise.

Juwita was very curious about what happened, especially when he saw his colleagues forming a crowd. But his curiosity turned into confusion when he saw their eyes on the back were fixed on him.

"What's wrong?" juwita asked the colleague whose position was closest to a barely audible voice.

The female companion was silent. But his hand pointed into the crowd with a strange gesture.

"This is not Juwita's job. I know Juwita very well. He's responsible. I see him working hard all day to get this done. I even got to accompany her and check her work. That's not what he did yesterday. There must have been someone who intentionally did this to get Juwita into trouble!"

If Melodi threw a report at Caca rudely, now Melodi threw several reports at once to the faces of Juwita and Caca. Fortunately, Alan came at the right time and brushed it off.

"Maybe you're the one, right?" ask Alan.

"You who? I don't remember having a subordinate like you. What makes you dare to come here and interfere?" ask Melody.

"Caca is my wife while Juwita is my friend. Then you're doing such an act of disrespect. Shouldn't this be enough to get me here? There is still time before the president comes. If this report is indeed problematic, why not mobilize all the subordinates in your division to complete it together? Aren't you guys a team?" answer Alan.

"Fired it. Do you think I'm scared?" sahut Alan's.

Caca who stood behind Alan was surprised by Alan's reply, especially Juwita. He is the root of the problem. Why would Alan choose to be fired just to defend him?

This I give you!" said Juwita then left just like that.

"Juwita, where are you going?" ask Caca and Alan at the same time.

"Back home!" reply Juwita.

"Juwita stop!" shout Melody.

But Juwita though did not heed the call of Melodi.

"You're just an intern but acting so haughty like this to your boss. Do you want to get fired?" ask Melody.

"Who said you were my boss. I submitted my resignation before I came here. Then, do you think you deserve to be my boss?" juwita replied without looking at it.

There's nothing to stand in Juwita's way now. Caca even immediately packed his things after Juwita was no longer visible. "I am also resigning" he said. Then immediately ran after Juwita.

Everyone was fixed on Alan who was still standing in front of Melodi. Alan also left shortly after Caca's departure. "You're a very bad boss. I'm sorry I've worked so proudly in a company that nurtures people like you!"

Alan walked over casually. He looked at the people around him with a smile. His smile only stopped when he passed his division head in front of the hallway.

"O Chief, I resign. Don't look for me anymore!" said Alan.
