Chapter 27 I Love You, Jeff!

The clock shows at half-five in the morning. Jeff who had been lying in bed all night finally woke up before anyone came in. Actually Jeff wanted to linger like this, but what would people say if they saw Jeff sleeping in bed because Juwita did not want to be left?

Jeff had just removed his blanket, very slowly and carefully but Juwi reacted quickly by hugging her husband. "Don't go!" he said without opening his eyes.

"I'm not leaving. But let me down, will you?" jeffsa said by stroking Juwi's head.

Juwi declined to comment. But Jeff knew Juwita wouldn't let him go because the embrace of the hand was getting stronger. Jeff finally relented, looking at Juwi's swollen eyes and bandaged forehead before kissing her cheek and lying back down to hug her. "Wi, do you like this?" ask Jeffsa.

"Eum" replied Juwi.

"Wi, open your eyes!" jeffsa Pinta.

"I still want to sleep" replied Juwi.

Jeff smiled thinly. Jeff knows Juwita's lying. Now, as Juwita's other hand hugged Jeffsa, the other hand Juwita used to hold the hospital clothes she was wearing. Juwita has always been like this since last night for fear of someone tearing her shirt off again.

"Wi, I'm already here so don't be afraid. I'm not gonna let that bad guy hurt you. So take your hand off and give it to me. If you want to hold, just hold my hand," comfort Jeffsa.

Jeff took his wife's hand. Grasping her tightly with her big, warm hands. "Isn't it more comfortable?" ask Jeffsa.

Juwita simply nodded, then hid her face in Jeffsa's arms. Inside that warm and comfortable embrace Juwita finally opened her eyes. "Are they conscious?" ask Juwita.

"Here, they are resting now. I'll take you to see them later" Jeffsa replied.

Juwita closed her eyes again. In that silence, Juwita thought hard. Why does he always see people who are there for him hurt. Why do good people always die and almost die? What if the future is like this. How about next time Jeffsa's sprawled like that?

Juwita wiped away her tears that were almost spilled. Then hugged Jeff tighter and smelled the fragrance of her husband whom she had longed for. "I've fallen in love with this man. Why am I suddenly afraid of losing him. Then, when she said she didn't want to get divorced back then, did she speak for real?" inner Juwita.

"Wi, what are you doing. Are you crying?" jeffsa asked while peeking at Juwita who was wiping tears out of her bruised eyes.

"Am I burdening you, Jeff?" ask Juwi.

"Wi, you're not oppressing my body. So how can you burden me" Jeff replied jokingly.

"Jeffsa, I'm serious!" juwi.

"No!" jeff answered without thinking.

Since marriage, Juwi is his responsibility. Whether good or bad things will happen to them Jeff already knows the consequences and Jeff is ready. So how could Jeff consider Juwita a burden? There is no burden in the dictionary of sincere and true love stories right?

Jeff believes this little test is just the beginning. Because the real test was supposed to come when Juwita found out who she was and her family found Jeff. Jeff can guarantee he'll stay loyal, but what about Juwita. Under the terror of her abusive parents and grandmother along with the thousands of tricks they use with her power, will Juwita still embrace her like this while the events of last night have frustrated her?

I don't know, but whatever Jeff will continue to convince Juwita that his desire not to divorce is not a joke. Like it or not, love it or not. Jeff is going to keep Juwita by his side no matter what.

"Jeff?" call Juwita.

"Hm?" sahut Jeff's.

"If I ask you to stay with me. Are you going to refuse?" ask Juwita.

"Do you want to stay with me, Wi?" ask Jeffsa.

"Eum" replied Juwi.

"Why, is it because you're afraid of being bullied by criminals?" ask Jeffsa.

Juwita again buried her face. Then answer Jeffsa's questions without daring to look at her husband's eyes. "Yes, I'm scared. But I think I'm more afraid that I'll lose you" Juwi replied.

"Why?" ask Jeff. The man tried to stay cool and calm even though his heart actually wanted to cheer.

"Because I seem to like you" Juwi replied.

"Look at me, Wi!" jeffsa said and peeked back at Juwita who was hiding almost in his pocket.

"Just like me, or love me?" jeffsa asked after getting Juwita's gaze.

Hearing the question apparently made Juwi's face redden. "If I say I love you, what can I do?" ask Juwita.

"Of course I can because I love you too, Wi!" jeffsa answered, making Juwi's face redder.

"What are you doing?" juwita asked when Jeff's hand had touched his chin.

"Taking DP from you" Jeffsa replied.

Jeff didn't waste the opportunity. Because now a warm kiss has landed on Juwita's lips complete with his brave hands down some parts of Juwita gently.

"J-Jeffsa?" call Juwi when Jeff lets go of his kiss.

"I knew. We'll move on after you're healthy" Jeffsa said

"That's not what I mean" Juwi said.

"Oh, does Juwi want it now?" jeffsa asked before the pinch landed on his stomach.

"Not that, either" replied Juwita.

"Then?" ask Jeffsa.

"Don't kiss me again. I want to wash my face and then go see them" replied Juwita.

But Jeff did not heed the ban because the ban from Juwita was sometimes something that Jeff had to break.

"Mel, you just go home!" sadewa said to Melodi.

Melody is pregnant young. Of course Sadewa will not let Melodi too tired for the safety of the fetus

"When I go home who will look after you here?" ask Melody.

Although Melodi does not like Juwita, but his feelings for Sadewa need not be doubted. Because actually Melodi has long liked Sadewa and to be Sadewa's wife was a lot that she had to fight for. Including taking the opportunity by giving himself up to sleep with Sadewa who was heavily drunk.

"Isn't there already me. You better take a good rest at home. Don't let anything happen to my niece-in-law for taking care of this fucking sister-in-law!" jeffsa stood in the doorway.

"Niece?" ask Melody.

"What is your wife amnesia. Isn't she pregnant with your child now?" jeffsa asked as he sat by Sadewa's bed.

Sadewa hit Jeffsa on the head. Then explain Jeffsa's intentions once again before convincing Melodi to go home. Understandably, Melodi never once met Jeffsa and did not know this delinquent husband of Juwita.

"Mel, she's Juwita's husband. His name is Jeffsa" explained Sadewa.

Melody didn't care anything about Juwita before. Nor does he care who Juwita is married to. But because Melodi has met with Jeff now, then no need to hesitate anymore to remind Jeff to keep Juwita well. Because Melodi's biggest fear is losing Sadewa.

"So you're her husband? Jeffsa, next time watch your wife's all right. Because if something like this happens again I won't forgive him" Melodi said.
