The beautiful afternoon was not as beautiful as the quiet atmosphere created in Hans' car. The luxurious car with the black horse logo drove without a sound.
"Become ... Again, I'm sorry, not to lie to you. All I do is to prove to myself that you are a different woman than the woman who only loves men for possessions. I'm sorry, Tia. I promise there will be nothing more to hide. All of this success is real, and I'm not broke as your brother said," Hans stared at Tia.
Tia's eyes closed for a few seconds. He is at peace with himself. Everyone must have a khilaf. A Khilaf that can be forgiven and inexcusable. Everyone deserves a chance to apologize.
Tia opened her eyes and took a deep breath and exhaled slowly.
"Sister, you know me. As a child, I did not get love and justice. I was betrayed and stabbed in the back. What can I count on to strengthen myself other than the trust of my closest confidant, sister?" Tia shed tears.
Hans felt guilty for everything that had happened. Just because to get a woman to be trusted, Hans had injured a fragile figure yet learned to be strong.
"Tia, I beg you, I'm sorry. Give me a chance to prove that I am the person you can trust the most. I promise from today there will be nothing more that I hide from you. I beg you, Tia. Don't lose your faith in me" Hans said, clasping Tia's fingers tightly.
"Alright, Brother. I'll give one more chance to brother. If the opportunity is not used well, then I will be gone forever from my brother's life. Because my heart will definitely not be able to accept any more so-called betrayal" Tia said with trembling lips.
Hans hugged the tiny body of Tia, a body that was growing thinner due to the sheer amount of things to think about and resolve.
"No, Tia. Never leave my life. I'm just like you who's healing yourself from betrayal. I'm sure we'll both be able to heal each other. There will be no more betrayal if we keep trust in ourselves for each other. Yeah, isn't it, Tia?" Hans looked at Tia's face with eyes still swollen with tears.
Tia's eyes stared intently at Hans's eyes, looking for a point of lie in Hans's black eyes.
"Alright, Brother. From now on we will trust each other, no more betrayals and lies. This household that we will build I hope will not falter because of betrayal. We are both victims of someone's selfishness. Don't let us be a victim a second time. I beg you, Brother. Before we get there, there is still time, Tia please think again," said Tia.
Hans' head shook to the right and to the left, then again clasped Tia's hand.
"No, Tia. I didn't choose wrong, and I promise I won't and will never hurt your heart. We will still get married today, if not with you then I'd rather be a widower all my life!" resolute Hans. Tia rounded her eyes hearing Hans' words which she thought were exaggerated.
