Chapter 8 The Rejection of the in-laws

When Viktor went on his honeymoon, his parents were arguing about the woman who married his son.

"Who's the girl? That's not Virlie Bram's son?" her mother said looking confused while looking into her husband's eyes.

"I don't know the girl either" her husband said.

"The victor must explain all this. And, I also didn't see the girl's parents, as well as Bram at the party yesterday" he said.

While at Virlie's house, her father and mother are upset with her daughter for not getting married.

"You've embarrassed us!" Bram, looking at the princess just his wayang with clenched hands.

"Mother is also ashamed" added her mother sitting next to her husband.

"Why not talk before making a decision?" asked his father who was very disappointed in his daughter's attitude.

"You're ruining our friendship with Bram." where the real papa is they both don't know if Verlie rejected Viktor.

Once again Viktor sighed deeply and heavily.

"He's your son-in-law now" Viktor said softly for fear that Virlie would hear him so that things would fall apart.

"Respect Viktor, we're a family of conglomerates. What the world says if they find out you're a girl whose origins aren't clear. Even his parents did not come to his wedding. Mama's disappointed in you!"

"Come pah! We're home! You must divorce the girl before the world cornered us!" her mother urged her to look into Viktor's eyes and then take her husband to go home to their other home.

Viktor held his head with both hands because of what had happened just now. And at the same time Nandini came to approach him with a different look.

"Have your father and mother not come?" nandini's question made Viktor look at her.

"They won't come!" viktor said in an annoyed voice. Every time Nandini saw his sense of regret just increased. And he assumed that Nandini was the cause of all this. If he had not been in an accident then none of this would have happened.

"Back in. And don't come out if I don't call you!" viktor orders in a high voice to make Nandini shocked half dead.

Nandini looked at Viktor with her lips slightly open. Only his breathing rose rapidly but his lips fell silent and could not say anything at this moment. She had dressed spectacularly to meet her father and mother-in-law but they did not come, much to her dismay. Nandini continued to pay attention to every scene that made her even more confused from behind the wall.

"You can stand? Aren't you paralyzed?" finally Virlie said with a raucous.

"Yes. I'm cured!" viktor answered and walked over to the girl who had rejected him because she was in a wheelchair.

"You lying? Why didn't you tell me you could walk again?" Virlie was glued still staring at Viktor with a very loud rumbling chest.

"You never ask. You walked away from me when you found out I was in a wheelchair. Then suddenly you decided to reject our marriage" Viktor said, leaving Nandini shocked and unintentionally voicing.

Upon hearing Nandini's voice, Viktor and Virlie turned at the same time and saw Nandini coming out from behind the wall.

Virlie is shocked that Nandini is there and hiding. Viktor is also shocked because Nandini secretly eavesdropped on their conversation.
