Chapter 2 Pretending to be unfamiliar

In the office Nest Food Nandini was sitting in her study, her eyes staring at the monitor screen with occasional staring at the file in front of her.

"Done up! Finally done, uhh!" Nandini wriggled out her stiff hands.

"I'm going to hand it over to the CEO right now" he said as he pulled the paper out of the printer.

Nandini immediately tidied up all the papers with the files she had been working on. Now he's going to meet CEO Virlie.

He came out of his office, but when he was about to step, he suddenly saw the man he met in the hospital. Nandini quickly turned her face away.

"Geez! Him again! How could he be in this office. What's he doing here?" Tanya Nandini.

When he was about to step back, the man turned out to be out of place.

"Where'd it go?" Suddenly from the other direction, the man was already behind Nandini with his wheelchair, making Nandini surprised and almost died because his heart seemed to stop beating.

"We meet again,"

The man said that he surprised her while holding Nandini's hand so that she could not run away from him anymore.

"Eh, who are you?" Nandini pretended not to know him.

"Don't pretend and don't run away again. Your face can't lie very well. Look, how pale your face is,"

"Sorry Sir. But I don't know you. You must be the wrong person" said Nandini trying to get his hand out of the man's grip.

Hearing the word the police frightened him, Nandini quickly let go of the man's grip and half ran away from him. He doesn't care if Viktor can't catch up to him because he's in a wheelchair.

Nandini's breath was panting but when she turned she did not see the man anymore. In his heart he was very happy to be able to escape from it.

"What did he say? The cops? I don't want to be in jail. I'm not even married yet, but he's threatening me to put me in jail? I can't see him anymore!"

Nandini monologues in front of the CEO's office. After neutralizing his heartbeat, he was now knocking on the door slowly. Nandini then handed over the file she had completed very well.

While the CEO seems annoyed at losing track of Nandini.

"That girl! I'll definitely make you pay for all this!" Said with a fury.

Tomi, his personal bodyguard ran up to his Boss who had suddenly disappeared while walking together.

"Boss! I was looking around and worried because suddenly the Boss wasn't next to me" said his personal bodyguard. It was obvious from his face if he was really anxious.

"I saw the girl again. I managed to catch him. But he ran away again" Viktor said, regretting that the girl could break away from his grasp.

"I mean the boss, the same girl as the one in the hospital?"

"Yes, he's the one. Unfortunately he managed to escape,"

"Hh, boss is sure he's the one?" Ask Tomi whose heart doubts if the girl who has made her boss has an accident.

Uh yes. Yes, as did his boss. But, I don't know. Because I wasn't a witness when the accident happened either. So I can't assume like the boss, Tomi murmured.

After work, Nandini went straight to the hospital. The doctor who treated her mother said her mother had to undergo surgery immediately. It made Nandini very sad and feel cornered.

"I just got to work. The CEO is also not a person who is friendly to his employees. How could I possibly apply for a loan of a hundred million more to finance mom's operation?" Said Nandini sitting behind the taxi driver who took her to the hospital.

At the hospital, Nandini went straight to her mother's room. It looks like his mother's face is getting pale and his body is already thin only getting thinner. Can't bear the feeling he saw his mother's current condition.

"Mom...." Sapa Nandini while wiping her tears as her mother slowly opened her eyes as if aware of her presence.

"Here.." said his mother softly.

"Mom.... How are you? Doctor says you suddenly have to have surgery? I'm so scared and anxious,"

"Din, don't think about mom. You've done so much for mom. Now think for yourself. Suppose God gives you long life, I want to see you get married before I leave,"

"Don't say that, Mom. You're gonna be fine. You'll be in surgery soon,"

Not long after, the CEO came from afar with his sunglasses and super fashionable clothes. She was truly graceful in everyone's eyes.

Seeing the CEO getting closer, Nandini pounded even more.

When the CEO walked in, Nandini immediately followed him behind him and knocked on his door even though his heart was pounding very fast.
