Chapter 44 Not Coming Home

With big steps Zayyan walked to approach his best friend. From the corner of the corodor zayyan had seen the raka waiting in front of the room.

"Zayyan" cried raka when she saw her best friend had just come with her panicked face.

"What's going on ? Why did alexa get in an accident ?" Ask zayyan.

Before long, the doctor came out of alexa's room with the nurse who followed her from behind.

"How is my best friend doc ?" Zayyan asked the doctor.

"Alright doctor, thank you" Zayyan exclaimed.

After the doctor left alexa's room. Zayyan and Raka went inside to see Alexa. The look on the face of worry from the eyes of the two of them.

"Lo have contacted me about the same lastri aunty ?" Zayyan asked raka.

"I called them. They said they were abroad. And they can't go home now, chances are they can only go home tomorrow night" Raka replied.

Nana is currently sitting with shakira and also olive in the living room. The two of them are currently accompanying olive to play.

Shakira soon came down to approach Nana after she managed to put her daughter to sleep in the room. Shakira landed her body next to Nana, "Has zayyan gone home yet ?" Ask shakira.

Nana shook her head "Not yet" replied Nana briefly, she turned towards the clock hanging from the wall and sighed heavily. "But it's 9pm, but he hasn't come back yet" Nana said.

"Have you called her ?" Ask shakira again.

"No, I haven't called" replied Nana.

"Try the phone" Nana advised.

Nana nodded her head in response. The woman immediately pressed her phone to contact her husband. But how many times nana tried to hp zayyan remained inactive.

"The number is off" said Nana, "Alexa seems to mean a lot to zayyan" exclaimed nana wistfully. His eyes glazed over as he said that.

Shakira, who saw her brother's sadness, immediately embraced nana, trying to give peace to the woman who had grown up with him since childhood.

The night is getting late, but Zayyan hasn't come home yet. Nana still keeps contacting zayyan but the results are still nil, there is no answer from zayyan. Until finally nana fell asleep on the sofa because it was not strong enough to resist sleepiness.
