Dinner

Reyhan arrives at the residence of his parents with Aleana and Farrel with him. Their arrival was welcomed warmly by Gustaf, but at that time Merry still did not want to show the trunk of his nose.

"Let's go to the living room, where Aleana's parents are waiting for you!" Take Gustaf to his son, son-in-law and grandson.

"Are there any grandparents here?" Tanya Farrel looks so happy to meet Aleana's parents who always love her.

"Yes! Are you familiar with them?" Gustaf asked his grandson.

"of course! They often spoil me!" Farrel cheerful.

Gustaf felt very embarrassed and even regretful because his grandson was much closer to others than he was.

"Pa, where's mama?" Ask Reyhan.

"Your mother is still in her room! I don't know if he's gonna come down to see you guys or not." Gustaf Sahut.

"It's better if you don't have to come down to see us here!" Sahut Reyhan's.

"Rey, no matter how she behaves, she's still your mama!" Aleana's whispers reminded her husband.

Reyhan only snorted in annoyance as Aleana tried to have the dinner go according to the plan Gustaf wanted.

Before starting to have dinner together, they seemed to have a light conversation in the living room. Merry remained silent in her room. He seemed to be thinking about the decision he had to make that night. Merry walked up and stood in front of the mirror where he used to polish his face.

"My face seems to be getting older because of my growing age! The son I gave birth to had a child and I became a grandmother. But under these circumstances I have never even felt happy in my life! My youth I spent taking care of all my business until Reyhan never got the caress of affection from me. I'm a grandmother now, but I haven't touched my granddaughter since she was born. What have I got out of all this? Hiks..hiks...hiks." Merry said in his heart.

"I hurt people a lot just to protect my son secretly! I don't want my son to get hurt again like Linda did to him." Merry said as she continued to cry alone in her room.

While still sobbing crying inside his room, Merry suddenly heard the sound of knocking on the door from outside.

"Come in!" Merry quickly wiped his tears.

"Miss, can I come in?" Grace asked as she went into Merry's room.

Merry turned his head and was surprised to see the iron coming towards him.

"You?" Merry looked at Grace.

"Lady, I'm here to ask you to have dinner with us in the dining room! Everyone is waiting for you, but you...

"Hiks..hiks...hiks..." Merry sat on the side of her bed crying over her face.

The kind-hearted Grace quickly approached and hugged the iron.

"What's wrong? Why are you crying?" Ask Grace.

"I'm so embarrassed, ma'am!" Merry seemed to regret all his actions to those he had despised before.

"I am so ashamed that I have insulted you, yet you have a very good heart." Merry continued, crying.

"No problem! Forget about it." Grace kept holding it.

In his room, Merry expressed regret that he had accidentally abandoned his son because he was busy with all his business. He also conveyed how the reason he did not want Reyhan hurt by others, then he was very sorry because all this time he never gave his affection to his grandson.

All the words that Merry uttered as a form of confiding to the besan, were heard by Reyhan and Aleana where they stood behind the door of the room as if eavesdropping. Reyhan lowered his face looking sad wrapped around him while listening to the reason for the reason spoken by his mother.

"Rey!" Aleana said as if giving the code to her husband to immediately make up with Merry.

Reyhan let out a long sigh and stepped inside his parents room.

"Ma." Reyhan said to Merry.

Merry turned and looked at her son with tears.

"Rey, you're coming." Merry said to him as if he could not believe that Reyhan was in front of him.

Wanting to make room for the mother and child, Grace and Aleana returned to the dining room and waited for them to be there with the others.

"Rey, I'm sorry! I'm not a good mother to you." Merry said to her daughter.

Reyhan could not bear to see his mother's tears flowing with regret. He hugged his mother's body as if to apologize to her.

"Ma, forget it all! We start our family relationship again from now on." Reyhan said to Merry.

Merry cried sadly mixed with haru because his only son was finally willing to apologize to him.

"Ma, let's go to the dining room! They've been waiting for Mom ever since." Bring Reyhan.

"Ma, Ana's a good woman! He's the one who persuaded me to come here to see mom." Sahut Reyhan's.

"Without my mom apologizing to him, I'm sure Ana forgave me! She loves me and my son, so I am also very sure that Ana will love mom and dad. My two in-laws are also good people, although they are not from the upper class like us, but they really appreciate others." Reyhan again.

"From now on I will try to improve ourselves and also our family relationships." Merry finally realized that arrogance will only have a bad impact on himself.

Reyhan and Merry walked into the dining room and sat down at one table with the other. Gustaf seemed calm when he learned that his wife had made the right decision in improving their family relationship. Merry looked at Aleana who was sitting next to Farrel. He wanted to apologize to his daughter-in-law. Merry wants to have a good relationship with Aleana. But Merry thought about talking to Aleana after dinner.

Merry quietly noticed her daughter-in-law's attitude towards her granddaughter. Aleana was very considerate of Farrel. Merry seemed confused to see the change in Aleana's attitude that was very gentle to her granddaughter, while when she met him Aleana was always rude to her.

"I was confused by his attitude! She was very kind and gentle to my granddaughter and others, whereas during the few times I met her she used to be rude and reply to everything I said to her." Mumbled Mere in his heart.

"Is it possible that he has two personalities?" Merry muttered again in her heart as she glanced and watched Aleana.

After dinner, they returned to chat for a while in the living room. Aleana was still sitting quietly beside Reyhan and also Farrel. The little family looked harmonious in Merry's eyes.

"Farrel are you sleepy?" Aleana asked seeing Farrel continue to yawn from earlier.

"Yes, mommy!" Farrel.

"Then we will soon...

"Ana, take Farrel to the guest room! Let him sleep here tonight. I also want to spend time with him." Gustaf said to his son-in-law.

Aleana glanced at Reyhan and Reyhan nodded his head as a code to grant permission.

"All right! I'm sorry to take Farrel to the room." Aleana said immediately bringing her stepson.

Aleana immediately took Farrel to the guest room, while the others were still sitting together while chatting in the room. Shortly after, Reyhan glanced at his mother who was also excused by them and walked out of the living room. Reyhan looked a little suspicious of his mother. He knew that Merry would approach his wife. Curious, Reyhan also quietly followed the steps of the mother who really seemed to enter the guest room where Aleana was putting Farrel to sleep.

"Ana, can I come in?" Merry asked his daughter-in-law.

"Come in!" Aleana Sahut.

"Do you want him to come up to me? Aahh, I don't want to ruin tonight if he's going to insult me again like he used to." Aleana murmured in her heart.

Merry seemed to approach the side of the guest room bed and looked at the face of her grandson who had just fallen asleep.

"I remember the first time he called me Granny! At that time her face was very innocent, yet I ignored her because I thought she was not Rey's flesh blood!" Merry continued to look at Farrel, but actually he was talking to Aleana.

"Yes, I know that! Rey told me that even Farrel!" Aleana's voice made Merry look at her.

"He must be very disappointed in me!" Merry said and lowered his face.

"Yes, you're right!" Aleana again.

Merry let out a long sigh then he approached Aleana and grabbed her hands together for her to hold.

"Ana, will you forgive me? I have misunderstood you." Merry.

"I did it all because I didn't want Reyhan to be hurt again by the woman he loved. His ex-wife hurt him so deeply." Merry said again.

"Yes, forget it!  Everyone has made mistakes, not least I once said rude to you. So I want to apologize to you too." Sahut Apaan while smiling broadly at Merry.

"You want to call me mama like Rey?" Pinta Merry on her daughter-in-law.

"Yes, mom! But don't ask me not to be matre!" Aleana Sahut.

Merry seemed surprised to hear his words from his daughter-in-law.

"What did you say?" Merry asked as if she wanted to hear that from her daughter-in-law's mouth again.

"Hahaha, I'm just kidding!" Aleana laughed.

"Haaaah, thank goodness! I know women always want to have everything, but I'd love you to accept my son for who he is." Merrry.

"Yes, at first I wanted to marry him for money, but after living my days with him I fell in love with him and I accepted him as he was who accepted me for who I was." Aleana Sahut.

From behind the door Reyhan seemed to breathe a sigh of relief because finally his mother and wife had become along and on good terms. Reyhan also realized that he also had to open up to you so that he could establish a harmonious relationship with his family.
