Repairing Relationships

Gustaf was so shocked at Merry's treatment of Aleana. He really did not know that his wife could do this.

"Bad! I'm trying to mend Rey's relationship, but she's making it even more complicated!" Gustaf grumbled in his heart because he was upset with Merry.

"Papa's gonna talk to your mama later not to bother your wife!" Gustaf said to Reyhan.

Reyhan was silent and refused to respond to his father's words.

"Rey, papa here wants to invite you to dinner together at home! You haven't come in nearly a year just to eat with us at home." Gustaf.

"I can't, pa! I don't want to see my wife and son feeling uncomfortable because of mom." Sahut Reyhan refused.

"Papa know for himself how our family relationship! From my little family we've never been harmonious." Connect Reyhan.

"Then we fix everything! Papa realized that papa never gave me time to you since you were a child, because I kept busy working. Our family relationship is messed up! You have parents who fight at home a lot. I'm sorry papa, son!" Gustaf said he felt sorry for Reyhan.

"Come with me! I know where Mommy is!" Farrel yelled at his grandfather to join him in search of Aleana's whereabouts in the luxurious house.

Farrel took Gustaf to the old rear where Aleana was looking at the flowers that were asked and cared for well there.

"That's mommy!" Farrel ran over to Aleana.

Aleana turned her head and opened her hands to embrace her stepson.

"Darling, don't run around when you fall!" Aleana said she was too worried about Farrel.

"Mommy, grandad wants to meet mommy!" Farrel's words made Aleana turn to Gustaf who was stepping to get to him.

Aleana looked at the figure of her father-in-law who was walking exactly like her husband. But Aleana also felt a little riled up because the look on Gustaf's face looked so flat and cold.

"Would he see me? Does he want to insult me like his wife did to me?" Aleana muttered in her heart as she continued to stare at Gustaf.

Gustaf walked up to him and was already standing before him, but Aleana was still staring confused and did not greet him at all.

"eehhem! Is this how a daughter-in-law looks at her father-in-law?" Gustaf said to Aleana.

"Heemh? Papa?" Aleana was confused.

"Yes! You're my son-in-law, right? So you should call me papa just like Rey!" Gustaf Sahut.

"Did you bless our marriage?" Aleana asked again with her dumb face continuing to stare at Gustaf.

"of course! I see you're so kind to Reyhan and my grandson!" Gustaf Sahut.

"You're not insulting me because I'm matre like your wife who once insulted me and my family?" Ask Aleana again.

"Well, forgive my wife's attitude! He's a little shitty!" Gustaf said with a long breath.

"I'll apologize directly to both of your parents later! Maybe I'll invite them to dinner together at my house." Gustaf said again.

"Don't!" Aleana Exclamation.

"Eh, why?" Gustaf was confused.

"Both of my parents are still upset because of the insults from that witch!" Aleana called her mother-in-law a witch.

"Yes! Because she sucks so I just nicknamed her a witch!" Aleana Exclamation.

"Haha." Gustaf laughed hearing his wife being nicknamed like that by Aleana.

Aleana and Farrel were dumbstruck looking at Gustaf who kept laughing in front of them.

"Mommy, why is he laughing?" Farrel whispered to Aleana while glancing at Gustaf.

"Mommy is confused too!" Aleana whispered.

Gustaf heard the whispers of both.

"Maybe it's grandad again his brain error!" Follow Aleana again.

"What is terror?" Ask Farrel.

"Eeemm, maybe he thinks too much so that his brain is damaged!" Aleana explained.

"Hey..hey..hei, it sounds woiii!!!" Pekik Gustaf.

Reyhan peeked out from the crevice of his study curtains to see Gustaf sitting with Aleana and Farrel in the backyard. They seemed to be chatting relaxed and familiar. Deep down, Reyhan also wants the relationship between himself and his parents to improve soon, but the attitude of the mother who always set him up makes Reyhan stop doing that.

Gustaf held his granddaughter while chatting with his daughter-in-law. They talk to each other about each other's lives to get to know each other.

"So that's our real relationship! For the time being papa is eager to mend the relationship between us, but it seems Rey is still reluctant to bring herself closer to us." Gustaf.

"Yes, I understand what papa means! But we can't just force Rey either." Aleana Sahut.

"Help Rey to get her close to us!" Pinta Gustaf begged his daughter-in-law.

"But how can I do it, Rey's mom doesn't even like me!" Aleana.
