A blank look and a look of sadness were evident from Liza's face. His feet are not necessarily the direction of stepping down the asphalt road that is quite densely passed by the riders. His right hand was busy rubbing his stomach which was painful.
After his argument with Fariz, he chose to leave the man in the hospital. Let Fariz go looking for him.
His heart was already very painful swallowing the pain lodged in his chest.
Highlights of Liza's eyes lead to a group of mothers gathered outside the school fence, picking up their children. And can it be like that?
"Good."
The sound of someone making Liza's daydreams scatter, she looked at Fariz who was now beside her.
"Let's go up, Liza."
Once again Fariz said to Liza to ride her bike. While the woman was still shaking with her face scowling her. Sparks of anger still churned in the woman's chest at her husband.
"Don't disappear like this, Mas worried," Fariz said, pulling Liza's hand gently closer to him.
Again, Liza did not say a word, but according to Fariz's order to ride the bike.
"Are you angry with what you said?" ask Fariz while running his second wheeled vehicle. He glanced at the rearview mirror of the motorbike, looking at the reflection of his wife's shadow there.
"Mas, I'm sorry for being so rude to you. It's so hard to control that emotion."
"Have you spoken?" sela Liza, and Fariz puffed her lips as she continued.
"Don't talk about this on the way. Focus on riding the bike." Afterwards Liza looked the other way. Avoiding coming into contact with Fariz through the rearview mirror.
It might be a bit impudent and impolite to speak this kind of indifference to her husband. But this feeling of anger erupted within his chest.
On the way, both were silent. No more Fariz making noises for mere pleasantries. While Liza seemed to be enjoying the trip that she was going to take.
"Why stop?" ask Liza astonished.
Fariz stopped his motorcycle in a place that Liza herself did not know. Seen some couples are sitting in the shade under a shady tree, avoiding the sun that is very hot today.
"We'll rest here. Mas, want to talk to you about something" Fariz said, staring at his wife.
Liza followed Fariz's steps leading her to a place a little away from the crowd. All the questions popped into his head, not knowing what Fariz wanted to talk about. But, he was sure that the man would discuss the matter earlier. Given the problem that just made him lazy to discuss it because at the end they will both argue again.
"Sit. You wait here, I want to buy something." After saying that, Fariz left Liza.
The woman looked around and sat herself there. A gust of wind hit the face of Liza who enjoyed it so much. The position is now under the acacia tree.
Ten minutes passed.
The brown iris of Liza moved wildly in search of her husband's figure that did not appear. There was no way that man would leave himself here.
Liza was surprised when Fariz was already beside her. The man held an ice cream cup in front of him.
"Say people when a woman is angry just give her a sweet treat. Like ice cream."
Fariz chuckled after saying that. He sits himself next to his wife. Liza nonchalantly took the ice cream that her husband offered.
"Take it off, there's no one here" Fariz said as he watched Liza put her veil aside.
"No way!"
Fariz sighed with Liza's sniffling response. Even so, both of his hands moved to release the veil on the woman's face. Lips chipped into the sight that Fariz saw.
"Eat," said Fariz staring fixedly at Liza.
Without wasting time the woman tasted the chocolate-flavored ice cream.
"Let's buy some milk for you, so that our son's healthy in here."
Fariz rubbed his wife's flat stomach covered in her thick robe.
While Liza scrunched her forehead."It's not that I don't want this kid. And doesn't Mas want me to drop it?" Liza's words full of satire made Fariz's hand movements stop.
"Who said? The child is sustenance and grace. Mas, just worried about your circumstances. What you feel, I feel it too. But right now we are in the face of a very difficult choice. Now it's up to you, if it's fate, you can't do anything except pray for the best for you and our son."
Although Fariz's face looked calm, the man's eyes could not lie. There was a look of sadness from the pitch-black netra.
Liza lowered her head for a moment and let out a long sigh.
"Actually I was scared after hearing the doctor's statement. I still didn't expect to have to go through something like this."
Liza's teary eyes looked at her husband with a choked throat. Fariz approached her body and hugged the tiny body of Liza who did not hold back her now broken cry.
"I love Mas Fariz. But why is our story so fateful? I love Mas Fariz."
There was a burst of happiness in Fariz's chest hearing a statement from his wife. Things he's been waiting for.
"Mas, I love you a lot too, baby. You take it easy, I'll do my best for you and our son."
Fariz broke out her embrace and wiped the tears that drenched the sweet face of the wife. There was a belief that arose in Fariz's mind, a belief that they could both get through this. God could not give a test beyond the limits of His servant's ability, and Fariz was sure of it.
