Marriage Line Husband

Marriage Line Husband
Part 17: Do I matter?

...It is very difficult to have a relationship with someone who is not finished with his past. And it's even harder to compete with someone who doesn't exist in this world....

"Mother should have permission first with me before taking all Danu's clothes out of the closet" said Liza, who was busy putting some of her late husband's clothes back in the closet.

"But why do you keep Danu's clothes? He's not around anymore. And it is better that his clothes be donated to those in need" Sharifah looked back at his daughter who was busy putting together clothes.

Liza turned around and looked at the mother."Danu's belongings mean a lot to me. At least it can ease my longing for him."

Sharifah shook her head slowly, disagreeing with Liza's words."You're wrong Liza. Your longing is already overrated. Someone who truly loves will let the loved one go. In this case, until anytime you will remain like this. Shackled by the past."

"You must remember Liza, you now have a husband who you deserve to love more. Mother is afraid that your attitude like this will make Fariz disappointed. It even becomes a problem in your household," continued Syarifah advised.

Liza lowered her head for a moment."I-I find it very difficult to forget Danu mas.." he explained.

Sharifah stepped closer to her daughter and held onto both of Liza's shoulders with a gentle smile.

"Learn to love your husband Fariz more than you love Danu. Because new love will slowly erode the love that has long grown in your heart." The middle-aged woman pointed at Liza's chest.

"That's a little hard for me, Mother..."

"No, Honey. What makes it harder for you to love Fariz is yourself. You still haven't fully opened your heart to love Fariz, and the love that Fariz has poured out on you is very difficult to get into your heart. Until you don't feel the love Fariz gave you."

"Where would you know if Fariz loved me?" Liza stared rolling at Sharifah.

The middle-aged woman smiled faintly."Mother can see from Fariz's eyes every time she looks at you. And it can't be lied to."

Sharifah grabbed both of Liza's hands and grabbed her."Don't let you lose Fariz just because of your past love. In undergoing the household heresy so many temptations, including the presence of a third person."

"Love comes because it is used to it" continued Syarifah.

Liza was stunned for a moment with all the thoughts that were seeping into her head.

Fariz laid his body on the bed. His eyes stared at the ceiling. The man changed his sleeping position.

A long sigh was heard clearly from Fariz when he stared at the picture of Danu's figura on the bedside table, making something in his chest turbulent. He got up from his bed and grabbed the figura.

"Why is this still being saved?" grumbling hoarsely.

Brak!

Fariz slammed a picture of Danu's figura into the trash can in the room. The man's breathing was heavy with a heated chest and the look of his unfriendly face.

"Yes..."

The gentle call of Liza who entered the room, made Fariz who was sitting daydreaming directly staring at the wife.

"I'm making tea for you." Liza put the warm tea on the table.

Fariz just kept quiet and glanced at Liza who seemed to be looking for something on the table.

"Search what?" fariz asked, curious. He knew what his wife was looking for.

Liza just kept quiet.

"Is our marriage important to you?" Fariz's question brought Liza's hand movements to a halt.

"I've been open about people in my past to you and kept my heart for you. But you.., still haunting your dead ex-husband!"

Liza looked flabbergasted to see the look on Fariz's angry face on her and the man's raised voice. Fariz, who always spoke softly to him, now looks different at the moment.

"You think I'm just a figurehead husband or just your protector? You don't even appreciate me! How can you keep a picture of another man and not think about my feelings!"

Liza gulped her saliva roughly. Just advised her, and now this is happening.

"I-I just need some time."

"Until when?! Is two months still not enough to forget him?"

Liza lowered her head, squeezing the robe she was wearing now. Fear and pain slowly crept within his chest.

Fariz let out a rough sigh and got up from the bed, making Liza look up at the man.

"How can this marriage go on for such a long time, when only one person loves one side."

Liza grimaced hearing Fariz's words.

"And how a husband is not angry and jealous when in the heart of his wife, still stored the name of another man."

Liza was biting her lower lip when Fariz spoke again. His heart feels pained.

"I'm not done thinking with you. I don't know how great Danu loves you, so you're so hard to forget."

"Mas!" Liza took a quick step as Fariz was about to leave the room.

"Don't go!" Liza hugged her husband from behind. Holding the large body out of the room. For the first time she cried because of Fariz.

"You hear?" muhsin asked Sharifah. "Are they fighting?"

Because of the sayup-sayup came the shrieking sound of Liza.

"Don't think anything, Dad. Even if they fight it's none of our business. No home is always okay. Leave them alone," Sharifah retorted as if he had paid no heed to it.

"Where are the two of them?" muttered Umi Fardah gazed towards the exit with a restless face mixed with annoyance.

"It's okay, Umi. I'll just go home. Maybe Fariz was going for a walk with his wife" said Aisyah, who was waiting for the man to come.

"Wait a minute, Ais. Fariz is coming home soon. Pity you've come all the way here but haven't met Fariz yet" Umi Fardah replied holding the girl back from leaving.

Fariz had to meet Aisyah.

Aisyah, the girl smiled and nodded thinly.
