The bitter truth

After fifteen minutes, Arnold wrapped the towel and held Velicia's body and sat her on the sofa.

"Ar, let me be alone" said Velicia.

"Let me make up for everything by taking care of you, dear."  Arnold stared at the beautiful netra of Velicia.

After he finished carrying the weak body to the gurney, for some reason Velicia's heart was so rustling when she was close to Arnold, the woman was already trying to ignore his feelings. But forgetting that feeling is getting worse.

Velicia realized, even if she later healed will never be a perfect woman again, her face now looks moody making Arnold frown.

"What's wrong?" arnold asked while sitting on the edge of the bed.

"Ar, I'm bored" replied Velicia.

Arnold chuckled, the man opened the closet near the nightstand. He was stunned when he saw so many wigs. He took one whose hair was as short as a shoulder.

"You used this one, yeah" Arnold said.

Velicia simply nodded, the woman from earlier wanted to try wearing the wig that Jack had just bought from earlier this afternoon. Arnold plugged into his hair, the man's face smiled and kissed his ex-wife's forehead long enough his lips were there.

Until the sound of the door opening resuscitated him, Jack walked in with a cold face when he saw what the man had done to his sister.

"Remember who you are!" yell cold Jack.

"Jack," said Cia softly.

"Hem" replied Jack.

Arnold, who knew he had to limit himself to Velicia, was now sitting on the sofa, but his eyes remained focused on the woman he had been looking for for for six months.

"Cia, you remember not to fall into the same hole again!" jack reminded his sister.

Velicia took a deep breath, she stared at her ex-husband with Intense. Maybe he'll go back to Arnold. 

"Jack every marriage is going to want a child in her household, I will never be able to give that to my husband later" Velicia said with tears in her eyes.

Arnold saw the woman crying her heart was so painful, as she was about to stand up Velicia shook her head making Arnold sit back.

"Cia, I don't want you to get hurt anymore" Jack said.

Velicia nodded, she understood that her brother wanted her to be happy, not long after Jack was happy and Arnold came back to the woman who had closed her eyes.

"Don't ever cry for me again, Cia. That'll make me even more guilty." Arnold clutched his ex-wife's clothespin.

"Ar, you haven't had dinner yet" Velicia said.

"Later I will eat, you will sleep" Arnold said as he moved from his seat and allowed the blanket to reach Velicia's chest.

When Arnold was out Velicia opened her eyes, her tears came back out wet her cheeks.The woman was now sitting leaning back. He was restless because Arnold did not come back even though he had been waiting for an hour.

Velicia tried to close her eyes, the woman was currently about to fall asleep hearing the door open. He knew it was Arnold because the masculine scent of the man's body was still the same as it was three years ago.

"I know you haven't slept, Cia." Arnold sat on the edge of the bed.

Velicia smiled wryly as she was caught pretending to be asleep, the woman now sat facing Arnold and said, "When did you come home?"

Arnold frowned, and staring into the beautiful eyes that were now staring at him, Arnold picked up his phone and started surfing for something he had seen earlier.

"You see this" said Arnold.

Velicia takes over Arnold's phone, the woman's eyes bulging when she sees Arista's group report that the profits are now so increasing.

"it's serious, Ar," said Velicia.

"I chose you, because our parents are still married, Ar." Velicia turned the gaze of the man in front of her.

"Why? until when will I be the husband to keep the status, Miss Arista?" ask Arnold.

"Until I recover, if that's the chance," Velicia replied firmly.

"I'll wait for that time, Miss!" goda Arnold blinked his eyes.

Velicia chuckled and laid down her already tired body. Not waiting long for Velicia to fall back asleep.

Arnold picked up his phone and saw a message from Leon, though he did not like his Papa's beliefs. However, without it Setyawan's company would not be as advanced as it is now.

Leon tells her that tomorrow her family will come because they are taking her Papa for treatment. Arnold had his hair restored, The man was so tired, he saw that Velicia had fallen asleep so well.

"Cia I don't want to now discuss feelings, I just want to take care of you until you get well, because I know my mistakes are so fatal and not worth forgiving" Arnold said.

In the morning Jack had come because he had to go home, the man could not leave his job for long.

Jack entered Velicia's nursery, seeing his sister still asleep, but Arnold was awake and looking neat.

"Ar, we need to talk" Jack said as he took a deep breath.

"What?" ask Arnold.

"Cih, not here Ar too!" said jack ketus.

Jack comes out of the nursery followed by Arnold, but before that he asks the nurse to look after Velicia for as long as she is gone.

Arnold and Jack now reached the park beside the hospital, both sitting opposite each other on the wooden bench.

"Ar, all this time Velicia didn't know if you had an older sister" Jack said.

Arnold just kept quiet he tried to digest what the man in front of him would say, Jack told me that he had been so disappointed and sad for what happened three years ago.

"As long as she was my wife we just hurt each other" Arnold said.

"Ar, actually Velicia married you wrong," said Jack staring fixedly at Arnold's face that looks shock.

"What does that mean?" ask Arnold.

"Velicia accepted your proposal because she thought you were a guy who liked to play the piano when he was fourteen years old." Jack again looked at Arnold who was still silent without changing his expression.

Jack took his phone and looked for a photo of Velicia with his first love, then he gave it to Arnold as he said." The man in the photo that Velicia loved, Ar."

Arnold is not a stupid man, he knows because it's a photo of Velicia playing the piano with Andreas.

His jaw hardened he held his chest which felt tight because in reality, the man loved by his ex-wife was his own brother.

"Everything I don't know?" asked Arnold coldly.

"Don't hurt my Cia again, it's enough for three years that you hurt her, and I hope you keep your limits on Cia" Jack said.

"I love her, Jack." Arnold looked at the man who was sneering at him.

"Now you say you love her, you regret it, right! why just now, Ar." Jack moved from his seat.

"Is there still a second chance for me?'
