Magical Traders
CHAPTER 25

AFTER wearing glasses and wireless earphones, Layla first followed Mustafa and Kosim to the security room. While he checked the broken CCTV cable and the hard disk storage that was forcibly removed, Kosim prepared a spare trolley for Mr. Dikin to transport the oxygen cylinders.

Shortly after, Dennis and Hanz entered the parking lot. They lowered the oxygen cylinders to give to Kosim.

After placing it behind the security room door, with Kosim, Hanz prepared to bring one more oxygen cylinder to the sixth floor just in case.

From inside the car, Dennis re-examined his computer equipment. After making sure everything is ready, they also wear glasses so they can watch each other.

“Six floors are safe!” dennis said, followed by Hanz and Kosim into the elevator door.

Once everything was ready, even Layla was sure she could fix the CCTV easily, Mustafa immediately told the manager.

Dennis was monitoring the movements of the manager who had just walked out of his room.

“She's out. It doesn't seem to carry a hard drive in his hands,” Dennis informed.

“After he passed the fifth floor, let me and Kosim go up to the seventh floor to his room,” Hanz said still in the elevator.

“Be careful, Hanz. Possibly in the manager's room there are still Aliens hiding in there,” said the security chief approached Dennis for his voice to be heard.

“You helped Dennis keep an eye on the CCTV cameras, especially on the seventh floor,” pinta Hanz to the head of security.

“Ready! Honestly, this is much more fun than just maintaining security in the apartment,” chirps the head of security.

Layla and Hanz laughed at hearing that. “The bet is life,” says Layla.

“Glekkk..!” Mustafa gulped his saliva. Since then he has felt tension and hopes nothing happens with him.

“Manager is already in the basement. He came out of the elevator door soon. Everyone get ready,” said Dennis worried if something happens beyond estimates.

The sound of the manager's shoe sole was heard approaching the security room. Layla immediately pretended like she was repairing a CCTV device. While Mustafa tries as much as possible to act like a security guard watching Layla at work.

“He's the one who will fix our CCTV?” ask the manager directly when they get into the room.

“Siap. Right, Sir!” sahut Mustafa took a cautious stance.

Layla was watching the manager. In fact, he was scanning through his glasses to show Dennis.

“How long can you fix the tool?”

“The damage is quite heavy. It took two to three hours, ” said Layla explained the broken parts of the CCTV device.

“Can I move to my room?”

“Can, Sir. After repair,” said Layla.

“I mean, now. Fix it in my room only!”

Layla thought hard. If it rises to the top, the chances of getting a hard drive are greater. However, what if that manager keeps an eye on him?”

“Sorry, Sir. There's a missing CCTV device. I need it to make sure the components of this part work properly,” point Layla on the DVR box whose lid has been removed.

“There's in my room. That's why I asked you to fix it there,” said the manager.

“Is in your room already installed BNC port cable circuit like this?” Layla explained.

“Seems like not yet. You just do.”

“Then, I'll be back tomorrow because it's impossible to work alone now. Fixing CCTV by designing cable circuit two different jobs.”

While the manager was thinking, Dennis tried to tell Hanz via wireless earphones. “Looks like Layla can buy longer,” Dennis said.

“You keep an eye on. I'm trying to get to the seventh floor. Maybe you could find the hard drive,” said Hanz.

“What do you think, Layla?” ask Dennis.

“How, Sir? You can sit here while I repair the CCTV device. Tomorrow we move by creating a new cable network?” layla asked the manager in response to Dennis.

The manager looked agitated. I want to see the CCTV right now. “What can I do. Just fix it now.”

“There is quite severe damage. Fortunately it can still be repaired,” said Layla immediately pulled out her work equipment.

“Can I turn off the AC? I have a cold-resistant disease,” said the manager asked Mustafa to turn off the AC machine.

“No problem, Sir. As long as the door remains open, the air in the room remains fresh, Layla realized the real reason of the manager.

On the other hand, Hanz and Kosim immediately went up to the seventh floor while carrying oxygen cylinders. “Continue watching, Dennis. Tell me if anyone is heading to the seventh floor,” Hanz said anxiously.

Dennis is really busy. His attention was split into two parts. His eyes were watching the CCTV and his ears were listening to Layla's conversation with the manager.

“Sial, the door is locked,” Hanz said later after arriving in front of the manager's room.

“How, now?” Dennis was also hesitant to give advice.

“Mustafa can unlock it with a folding knife,” said the head of security.

Layla knew they were confused to tell Mustafa to switch roles with Kosim.

“How can it be damaged this badly? Can I ask you to check the cable?” layla.

The manager stood up immediately. “I understand about CCTV. Let me help you check it out. Which cable do you mean?” ask manager.

“Deggg.!”

“Ehmm, there seems to be a disturbance in the third floor cable connection,” replied Layla hesitantly.

“I tried to check there,” replied the manager out of the room.

Layla immediately tells Mustafa that Hanz is in need of help. The damaged cable was just an excuse for Mustafa to leave the security room for the seventh floor.

Knowing that, Mustafa immediately caught up with the manager. “I help, Sir. Looks like there is a cable problem also on the sixth floor.”

“Good. After from the third floor, I will follow you to the sixth floor,” replied the manager.

“Why the manager is such a hassle,” chirped Dennis.

“Check sixth floor, is anyone there?” answer Layla.

“There's a janitor. Looks like he just got there,” Dennis said.

“Just relax, That's Mr. Dikin. He's a good man.”

“Hopefully Mustafa could understand the situation,” Hanz replied hoping that after the manager came out to the third floor, Mustafa directly pressed the button to the seventh floor, without having to stop on the sixth floor.

“How fast can Mustafa unlock this door?” Ask Hanz again.

“Fast five minutes. That's if he's not nervous!” sahut head of security.

“Supervise the sixth and seventh floors, Dennis!” layla's orders.

“It looks like Mr. Dikin is exhausted. He just sat leaning against the wall of the apartment,” Dennis said. “Wait a minute, he's standing now, but why would he want to get into the elevator again?”

“She's headed where?”

The door of the sixth floor elevator sounded. Mustafa wanted to continue to the seventh floor, but when he saw Mr. Dikin enter the elevator, Mustafa hesitated.

“You cleaned where else, Mr Dikin?” ask Mustafa.

“Seven floors in the manager room,” said Mr. Dikin with a hoarse voice and coughing.

“Pak Dikin, sick? Tanya Mustafa checked Mr. Dikin's face.

“It's okay. I just need a little break?”

“Let me help Mr. Dikin!” haggar Mustafa remembers Mr. Dikin going to the seventh floor.

“I will make sure nothing happens with Mr. Dikin. Let me take.” Mustafa pulled the trolley into the elevator and directly pressed the number seven button. Mr. Dikin seemed confused to find a way to keep Mustafa from following him.
