52. The Goddess's Creation

Belle's Unicorn was creeping itself up near the lake of death that was in the middle of the forbidden forest.

"Is this what we call the lake of death?"

Aunty Maria asked Lori in a voice like the whisper of the wind in a bamboo grove.

Lori, the beautiful elf nodded,

"Yes Aunty, this is called the Lake of Death, where the most beautiful fairy of her time was sacrificed to her brothers."

Said Lori.

"really barbaric."

Aunty Maria said as she stared at the lake shrouded in dense fog, and faintly heard a groaning sound that seemed to come from within the lake.

"Does this lake often take its toll?"

Aunty Maria floated down from Vines' back, Lori quickly followed.

Looks Lori drifting up the lake where now seen fog around the lake suddenly thinned, and,

And...

Something suddenly radiated from beneath the surface of the lake.

Along with that Lori's Aquamarine stone also seemed to radiate from Lori's right hand.

Lori raised her palm, and instantly a bright greenish-blue gemstone appeared from Lori's palm.

The blue-greenish gem's radiance then shimmered very brightly, and from the lake water also appeared similar rays, both of which then seemed to converge on the surface of the lake of death water, and from the lake, which instantly made the entire lake so bright.

Lori and Aunty Maria are seen pulled over, staring at a bright glow glow similar to Lori's Aquamarine stone.

"What happened Lori? Is..."

Not to mention the sentence Aunty Maria finished, suddenly the lake water was originally calm, suddenly it seemed like there was a large vortex surrounding the bright light that was like Aquamarine stone.

Lori obviously did not accept seeing Aunty Maria treated harshly, Lori was seen clenching her palms that had Aquamarine stone, preparing to smash her hands towards the woman, when the bright light that was on the black dress woman then enveloped the two and formed like a whirlpool carrying the two of them upwards.

The woman in the black dress closed her eyes, spinning in the middle of the whirlpool and the greenish-blue glow of the Aquamarine stone, when then the woman in black dress had suddenly turned very beautiful with a dress like Lori.

Lori was clearly shocked beyond measure, she seemed to see a reflection of herself in front of him.

He was not looking in the mirror but the woman was exactly like him.

The woman then smiled, she stretched out her hand which now contained the exact same gem as Lori's.

A fragment of Aquamarine stone broken into four parts, what is this...

The woman then approached Lori, her hand which now appears to be a fragment of Aquamarine stone lifted and then asked Lori to unite it with her hand which also has Aquamarine stone.

The doubtful-looking Lori looked at the woman, then...

"You're me Lori, and I'm you. I was born first and made a victim of my brothers, and then some of me became you."

Said the woman.

"I'm the goddess of death, and you're the goddess of life."

"De... goddess of life?"

Lori doesn't understand, though,

The woman then grabbed Lori's hand and put their hands together, putting two Aquamarine fragments in their hands.

The two then circled in the middle of the whirlpool of the lake of death, where Lori's memory seemed to be played back from infancy to adulthood, including when he bounced getting two Aquamarine shards and only one that he could have, while the other bounced into the lake.

Likewise with the memory of when Lori helped Ali breathe again, when she faced Shilba Dolores.

Ahyes...

Goddess of life, is this what is meant?

Lori opened her eyes, which she was all of a sudden alone in the middle of the vortex, but there was a sound like a whisper,

"Finally we are united, finally we re-integrate Lori. Remember, you are me. And I'm you."

And Aquamarine again shone brightly, as if emanating from the body of Lori where its rays seemed to illuminate the entire lake of death even the forbidden forest.

The light can even be seen from a distance, both from the brown forest as well as from the palace where the Oracle and the palace guard fairies are now in a fierce battle with the old witches and the fierce Dark Joe army.
