Chapter 29's
National exam day arrived, all XII classes are busy with learning and every day for 4 days they drain their energy and brain to answer the tested questions, hoping the value will be very satisfying.
During the exam Rani studied at home seriously, she had never studied groups again with Andi because she rarely met, met when crossing school alone and their attitude was very ordinary. Until the last day of the exam all the students remained seriously working and the ending bell rang. All the students seemed relieved and walked out of the class and went home. Rani and Irma were still there and sitting in front of the class. Coincidentally Andi and Raka passed by and greeted them,
“Why can the test be ?” ask Raka.
“Can dong.. y'all how ?” ask Irma back.
“Wah don't underestimate Andi, he must be top deh.” replied Raka.
Andi just smiled and seen Rani looking at him, Andi then asked Rani about the results, and then asked Rani about the results,
“How to Ran you ?” ask Andi.
“Current At..” replied Rani with a smile.
“Thankful deh.”
Silence, all was silent and the atmosphere became awkward. Raka tried to melt the atmosphere by inviting lunch together,
“Eh yes make the end of the test we have lunch together yuk.” invite Raka.
“Wah can tuh, where is ?” ask Irma enthusiastically
“In Chicken Noodles deket that school.want ya ?”
“I want, you come too huh Ran ?” bring Irma.
“You also join In..” invite Raka to Andi.
Andi and Rani looked at each other, finally they nodded in agreement and left together to the shop that sold Chicken Noodles. They ate there hungry because they were hungry after the test. Even so Andi and Rani still seem silent, they just chimed in on the question and Raka and Irma.
Irma and Raka code each other, they want to bring closer the relationship of Andi and Rani as before. But it seems like Rani and Andi seem indifferent and ordinary.
“Oh yes you guys finished this while waiting for the announcement ?” ask Raka.
“I am preparing to enter kulaih while waiting for the announcement as well.” replied Irma.
“If you Ran ?”
“Sama anyway.. I'm still preparing as well.” replied Rani.
“You In ?” ask Raka.
Rani seemed interested in hearing the answer from Andi, she did not know where Andi would continue her studies, Andi himself never told about her college preparation.
“I... still preparation too.” replied Andi.
“Yah out of this we will rarely meet nih... it's good that Andi and Rani can still meet neighbors.” said Raka.
“Iya nih make envy aja.” timpal Irma.
Andi and Rani looked smiling, though,
“Entering neighbor dong so you can meet continuously.” timpal Andi later.
They all laughed, after they finished eating they went home to each other, this time inevitably Andi and Rani went home together on foot. During their walk a lot of silence, Rani tries to melt the atmosphere, however before graduating she wants to have a good relationship again with Andi.
“Andi you have a list of lectures where?” ask Rani.
Andi seemed to think, he did not want to tell where he was going to college, and tried to give another answer.
“Ngot far Ran.. How are you ? so at the University it?” andi asked to switch the conversation.
“Iya Di.. pray yes hopefully accepted.”
“Iya Ran, definitely.”
“In we can still be like before right ? since the incident we rarely chat.” Rani who could not stand trying to get on good terms with Andi.
“Iya Ran, you think we do not know what.” replied Andi casually.
“Yes we rarely meet and chat like before.”
Rani complies and follows Andi's steps, he does not discuss anymore for him to be able to chat again with Andi already makes him happy. It was undeniable that the two of them still liked each other but they were both unable to say it.
The day the graduation announcement arrived, all students were gathered in the Hall and the school announced that class XII in class Rani was declared graduated. Rani and Irma are also accepted at the University of her choice, while Andi has also been accepted at one of the universities in Singapore. When the announcement of graduation, the school announced that one of the XII class students was accepted at the University abroad, which was none other than Andi. Everyone was shocked including Rani, he did not expect that Andi would go to college there, whereas Andi had said that he would study in Surabaya.
After all the students disbanded and Rani immediately looked for Andi who was also in the Hall but now has gone somewhere, he said, Irma also accompanies him looking for Andi but after searching in all corners of the school does not also find him. Rani immediately looks limp and sits in front of the class.
“Ma, Andi wants to go to singapore.”
“Iya Ran, I also just knew this earlier.”
“Kok he never talks anyway!” Rani gets angry herself.
“Quiet Ran, we're looking for this again, maybe he's still around school.”
“I go home first Ma, I want to try to his house.” Rani hastily picked up her bag and left.
“Be careful on the road Ran!” said Irma who saw Rani leave looking agitated.
Rani rushes to the parking lot to pick up her motorcycle and go home, until there is still no one at home, after parking her motorbike in the garage she moved to Andi's house. Good thing the gate was open, maybe Andi's parents are still at home. Rani immediately knock on the door of the house and no long anyone opens the door, namely aunt Rika.
“Tante Andinya no ?” ask Rani directly.
Aunt Rika seemed silent not to answer, she knew Rani must have come and asked Rani to sit first in the living room.
“Yuk sit here.” invite aunt Rika.
Rani complies and sits on the living room shofa, Andi's house looks deserted no one. Or maybe Andi hasn't come home yet, that's what Rani thinks.
“Gini Ran, actually Andi has left for Singapore was out of school.” obviously aunt Rika.
Rani grew shocked, she did not expect that if Andi was to leave so soon, she was still silent and waiting for more explanation from Aunt Rika.
“Rani has never been told yes.” ask aunt Rica again
“Never aunty.”
“Basan the boy, has told me several times aunty but never wanted. So just now Andi went escorted his father to Ran.” airport
“Kok fast bang aunty.”
“Iya Ran, there enter the lecture soon so Andi must adjust first.”.
“Kok can Andi want to study there aunt?” ask Rani again.
“Iya Ran, her father asked because Andi later who forwarded the company.” replied aunt Rika.
“Oh so it turns out. yaudah aunt Rani back home first yes.”
“Lho why hurry, play first here same aunt..”
“Ngak aunty, someone has to work at home, later Rani play here sometime.”
“Alright. promise yes.. at home more quiet nih stay om same aunt aja.”
Rani smiled and went home. Arriving at home without tears coming out, he was sad and angry at Andi for not being alone with him, well even though only a friend but at ease he had to tell her, he said, but now Andi just left without talking to her.
Later that night Rian came home and saw Rani watching tv but look her eyes out of nowhere.
“Why do you Ran ?” ask Rian.
“Andi studied abroad Mas, you know ?” ask Rani.
Rian did not answer and passed to his room,’turns out Rani already knows.. or do not-don't be announced at school’ Inner Rian. Rani is surprised to see her brother's attitude, she suspects that Rian already knows everything and does not tell anything
to him.
After taking a bath Rian joined Rani watching tv, she asked how her graduation announcement was, even though she knew if her sister graduated, but she just wanted to make it easy.
“Alhamdulillah pass all mas. how was my question earlier ?” ask Rani back.
Rian seemed to think, maybe it's time he told Rani about everything, and there was no need for anything to be covered again.
