M.A.A.P (White Ash Time)
Chapter 1
Rani, her full name is Maharani, a 17-year-old girl who is now still in the XI class of High School. Rani has an older sister named Rian, who is only one year old. Rian is now in XII High School class approaching the graduation exam. Rian and Rani have a father named Hari, a private bank manager. Rian and Rani's mother had long since died of illness.
Rani is a quiet girl, her calm and reserved character descending from her mother. The only one close to him was Rian. Rani has a small body with a height of about 155cm, wears a hijab and is very friendly. His older brother Rian has a handsome face, with a height of about 170cm and wears glasses because his eyes are minus. Rian is quite intelligent, he excels in academics. Many competitions have been participated in since Junior High. While Rani in academics she belongs to the ordinary class of students, even her ranking is only average, it can be said that she is not so prominent among other students.
One day Rani's family moved to Surabaya because her father was transferred to the bank's headquarters. The transfer of her father's job makes Rani and Rian have to change schools. It also affects Rian who is already XII class and must take care of his move. They entered one of their favorite schools, Rian and Rani's school move was taken care of by their father a few days before.
That Saturday, Rian and Rani arrive at their new home. They are now living in one of the houses in the city. The environment looks cool and beautiful, around their homes are also many houses of residents. Rian and Rani begin to take care of their belongings, as well as their father who arranges the furniture in the living room.
“Ran.. book I'm laughing on cardboard you're not ?” rian asked as he entered Rani's room.
“Oh for a moment mas, I see first.”
Rani rushes to check her cardboard containing books, after the final search is found.
“This is Mas ?” Rani shows the textbooks for class XII to Rian.
“Iya, how can it be in you ?”
“Ya do not know mas. maybe time settled-in mixed..”.
“Hmm.. yaudah deh.. continue to clean up you..”
Rian moved back to his room and Rani continued her work arranging the room. Rani is actually a little heavy leaving her house in the village, there she has many friends who are already very familiar with her, but what is the power because she has to follow her father who was transferred to the city.
“Rian..” call pack Day from living room.
“Iya Well.. what's up ?”
Rian immediately came to the living room after hearing his father's call. It turned out that his father was arranging a chair and called Rian to help him.

They were both busy arranging chairs, Rani who had finished cleaning her room appeared to the living room, saw her father and brother were busy, she took the initiative to make a fresh drink for them. After arriving at the kitchen, he saw in the refrigerator there was a fruit-flavored drink, immediately he made it with ice and was taken to the living room.
“Yah.. rest first, I made a cold drink nih.” said Rani while carrying a tray containing cold drinks.
“Yaudah, let's rest first on the terrace.” said pack Hari.
Rani comes to the living room from her room, seeing her father and brother busy, she takes the initiative to make ice syrup to drink, and happens to be very thirsty too. After making drinks in the kitchen, Rani brings a tray containing ice syrup to the living room.
“Yeah, brother yuk rest first.” invite Rani
His father smiled, then invited Rian to rest.
“Yes, let's rest on the terrace, the weather outside again feels good like a break.”
Rian agreed and followed to the terrace to take a break. The three of them sat down on the porch of the house, the air was really so cool and made their tiredness slightly disappear.
“If I am anywhere can be well. here is also very cool, but usually it is hot.” replied Rian.
“I like it here well.cool..” replied Rani too. He is still trying to adjust to his new environment.
“May be at home yes.we will stay here continue the problem.”
Rian and Rani nodded and smiled. They also hope so.
“oh yes, tomorrow monday you have started school yes.father has taken care of your transfer letter.” said sir Days later.
“Iya well.. You are okay Ran ?” Rian was a little worried about his sister
Rani smiled slightly and nodded, in fact she was very difficult to adapt to the new environment, because she was a quiet child and did not easily get along with people she just knew.
Rian stroked Rani's head covered with a soft veil, intending to encourage her beloved sister.
After a while, Rian heard the sound of a basketball from the front of their house. Interested, Rian turned to look at the front gate of the house. Apparently there was a child from the front house who was playing basketball in his yard. Rian who likes to play basketball is interested and tries to get closer by looking from outside the gate of the young man's house.
Rani who saw the behavior of her brother tried to see from behind the gate of his house, and she saw there was a young man who was very serious about playing basketball. While Mr. Hari smiled at the behavior of his two children and moved into the house to continue his work arranging the living room.
The young man who was playing basketball, felt that someone was watching him immediately stopped his game and looked back at the gate. He felt unfamiliar with the face, while the person watching him was just smiling kindly.
The young man approached Rian to greet him, opened the gate of his house and approached Rian.
“This is who is it ? I just saw you.” asked the young man.
“Hai, know me Rian who lives in that house.” replied Rian while pointing towards his house.
“Oh new neighbor yes.Greetings know ya mas, I Andi.” Andi said kindly and reached out his hand to shake hands.
Rian happily shook Andi's hand. He captured a good image of the attitude Andi showed.
“You like to play basketball huh?” ask Rian.
“Iya mas, good for sports. mas Rian also likes to play basketball ?” Ask Andi back.
“Iya, pass it..” replied Rian.
The two of them continued to talk, from their conversation Rian got information that Andi was the same age as Rani and was still in XI class. Andi also knew that Rian was one level above him, namely class XII. While talking, Andi looked behind Rian precisely behind the gate of Rian's house that opened a little, there was a woman who was watching him. Rian followed the direction of Andi's view, it turns out that there is a half-hidden Rani behind the gate.
“Sini Ran..” Rian's orders.
Rani gets closer to her brother, Andi is still watching him, Rian then introduces Rani to Andi.
“Kenalin, this is my sister her name is Rani.” said Rian.
