Chapter 13
After being given
warning by Selvi, inevitably Rani a little keep a distance from Andi when at school. When at home Rani behaves normally because Selvi will not know what her activities at home are like, and she does not know if Andi often plays to her house to just hang out or study together.
Like on Sunday Andi invites Rian and Rani to go to a free day car in Bungkul Park. Because of the distance of their house is quite far, they go there by driving Andi's car. There they jog together. Rani looked a little tired because she rarely exercised, in contrast to Rian who indeed he really likes to exercise.
“Mas Rian rested undaunted. I was tired.” complained Rani who was bored and held her stomach.
Rian and Andi immediately stopped running and looked back,
“Hadeh..just tired already.” said Rian while clucking his waist.
“Ya know sendiririkan I rarely sport.” lamented Rani again with sebal.
“Judah we rest first deh.” lerai Andi.
Rani quickly finds a good place to just straighten her legs, lucky she gets a shady place, Rian and Andi also join Rani. Fortunately they brought their own drinking water so it is not necessary to buy drinks again.
“How is Mas when is the national exam ?” ask Rian.
“Two weeks away.” replied Rian casually.
“Wah has been a little longer..so relaxed Mas.” said Rani.
“Should dong, can not stress if you want the test.” get Rian casually.
Rani envies her very laid-back sister, despite that her brother's grades never disappoint and always best. Unlike him who still needs guidance in learning.
“hopefully yes Mas examnya. depleted it stay waiting for the announcement to enter the university ya ?”
ask Andi.
“Iya, one more month it seems.”
While taking a break they discussed the Rian exam that was soon to be held, Andi got a lot of lessons from Rian when sharing about the lessons and that made her knowledge increase.
Without them realizing there are some girls who cross in front of them and greet Rani and
Andi.
“Eh no Andi sama Rani.. such a coincidence.” greet one of the girls who turned out Ira.
“Eh you guys met here.” saya Andi back.
“You are very familiar yes it turns out.” said Dian.
“Iya we are neighbors, teach.” replied Andi kindly.
“hee.. so it turns out..” Selvi said in a satirical tone.
Ira and Dian have not really hated Rani since the first misunderstanding, but not for Selvi, she still hates Rani. Selvi et al then continued jogging they left Rani. Rian who from earlier noticed Rani's expression so wondered what was really between Rani and her three friends.
After finishing jogging Rian, Rani and Andi looking for breakfast at one of the food stands there. Finally they decided to have a pecel rice breakfast, incidentally Rian and Rani really like the menu and Andi also enjoyed it. After breakfast, they went home and took a shower.
In the afternoon Rani is watching tv with Rani, while their father is resting in the room. Rian who was still thinking while jogging was trying to ask,
“Ran.”
“What's the Mas ?” rani asked without looking at it from the tv.
“You have a problem with your friend whose name is Selvi?” ask Rian directly to the point
As soon as Rani was instantly silent, she couldn't possibly tell her brother the truth and tried to find another reason.
“Ngot nothing Mas, just misunderstand the problem in class.” replied Rani origin.
“Hmm really Just that?” ask the unbelieving Rian again,
‘Duh this base has a very sensitive sister.’ Inner Rani.
“Iya Mas..real...” replied Rani with a little reassuring.
“Okay I believe, later if there is anything you tell Ran, do not cover.”
“Iya Mas, ready.”
Rian smiled and stroked the hair of Rani who was not wearing the hijab. ‘Huft, congratulations..’ rani is actually not nice if lying to her brother but how else, she does not want to worry everyone. Let him solve his own problems.
The next day at school, Selvi again invites Rani to talk together in a place that is not too crowded. Selvi is very angry to see Rani close to Andi yesterday in a free day car. Rani tries to defend herself because she is neighbors with Andi so it is impossible to stay away from her. Selvi still does not accept and warns again if Rani stays close to Andi then Selvi will do something. Rani is just quiet and a little sad because Selvi told her to stay away from Andi who definitely would not be able to.
After being satisfied to nag Rani, Selvi immediately went from there so that no one would see them. While Rani returns to class with a confused expression of what to do, she is also afraid that Selvi will do something that can harm her.
