The Scream and the Midnight Cry

The latest news about Jack has reached the ears of Aldy and Jessica. Both of them did not expect that this case would lead to another new case.

Jessica or Aldy still shut up, not ready to tell Kamila this news. The two were still looking for the right time, so that Kamila was not too depressed.

Mom got out of the room, walked towards Kamila's room. Followed by Aldy who just came out of his room.

"Did you hear that?" ask Mother. Aldy was silent, trying to clarify what he heard.

"That's it, Mom." Aldy's hand pointed towards Kamila's tightly closed room.

"Come, let's go meet him. Pity your sister," I'll take with me while dragging Aldy's hand.

"Yes."

"Dear."

"This is Brother, Ila open the door," cried Aldy from behind the door of Kamila's room.

"Yes."

"Open the door, baby. It's Mom and Sister." Mom banged on Kamila's room door that wasn't open yet.

Impatiently, Aldy broke the door open. She could see her sister sitting in the corner hugging her knees and crying so quietly.

"Yeah...Honey," said Aldy. The man raised Kamila's head, complementing the spoiled girl in his arms.

"Me-they, they hurt Jack" Kamila said on the sidelines sobbing.

"Me-they beat and yank Jack until Jack screamed in pain" she said.

Aldy tightened his embrace, stroking his shadowy sister's head was soft. Slowly Kamila's cry subsided, her breathing was also heard already irregular.

"Honey," said Mother as she stroked Kamila's hair that was still attached to her brother's chest.

"Jack is fine. He's okay, Jack is strong. He'll be back for Ila" Aldy said with confidence.

"But he screamed in pain, brother, his screams are so sad." The scream kept ringing in Kamila's ears, as if to indicate Jack was close to Kamila.

"That's just your dream, son. It's late, you're just dreaming. Even your Mother and Brother didn't hear people screaming in pain, we just heard your sobs." Mother continued to stroke Kamila's head gently, making the girl a little calm and fall asleep in her brother's arms.

"Mom didn't expect it to be like this" she muttered. The three slept on the same mattress, with Kamila still in her arms.

Aldy awakens, finding Kamila and Mom still sleeping beside him. He walked out of the room to the kitchen to get water.

Suddenly his mind floated on Jessica who was back there. Aldy grabbed a bottle of mineral water and returned to his room.

She turned on her phone and called Jessica, no response from Jessica. Indicates the woman is asleep.

"Thank God, I think he's still awake until this hour" Aldy said and placed his Handphone on the desk.

Since Jack's disappearance, Aldy and Ken more often complete office affairs at home, because it is constrained by some things that he and Ken must ensure.

Hour 03:30.

Jessica called back, thinking there was something important that Aldy would talk to her about.

"Hallo, what's up. Why aren't you asleep?" aldy started the conversation.

"You called me earlier, but I'm still asleep. What's up?" ask Jessica.

"Ah.I'm just making sure you're asleep. Nothing, sleep it's still midnight." Aldy stared at his Handphonen screen which featured the name "Edelweiss" there.

"I just had a nightmare, so I woke up" said Jessica.

"I had a dream, seeing Jack being tortured by two women and one man, they kept torturing Jack, until Jack screamed in pain" Jessica said.

Aldy was silent, he thought for a moment. "Maybe your dream is the same as Kamila's" Aldy said.

Jessica frowned not understanding, "Tomorrow we speak, so that it's clearer." Jessica stared at her Handphone screen with the words, "Aldyan" there.

"Good Night, Edelweiss," Aldy said, disconnecting the phone.

The next morning, Ken and Jessica wait in the usual spot. These days the two have been looking a little bit of a get-together, never arguing like they used to.

"How's Jess?" ken asked unclearly.

"How, what how?" Jessica asked back because she didn't understand Ken's question.

"How do you feel about Aldy?" ask Ken without any censorship.

"What kind of question is that, and what feeling is it? I don't have any feelings for anyone!" resolute Jessica.

"True, I think you're lying" teased Ken.

"I don't have time to deal with your bullshit, Ken." Jessica got into the car and turned it on.

Kamila and Aldy came out with slightly matted faces, Aldy's face looked like a sleep-deprived person, while Kamila looked like a blood-crying person. (Lebay Thor)

Kamila only smiled faintly at Ken, then got into the car.

"God, why did it become like this" muttered Ken.

Jessica's car drove in front of Ken's car, the two separated when they got out of the housing complex.
