15. Thank you, Lord (End)

Jessica was standing at the main door, the woman was intending to welcome Aldy home, and was already impatient to deliver the good news to the man.

Jessica started squeezing her fingers. Almost half an hour he waited, but Aldy was not there yet. Finally, Jessica decided to enter and went straight to her room.

She opened the drawer, grabbed her phone, and called Aldy, her husband. Unfortunately, Aldy's number is off, and Jessica turns to Ken. Wish the man could tell you a little bit about her husband.

Ken is the same. He could not be contacted at all. Jessica is starting to feel that something is wrong with Aldy and Ken. It was not usual for the two men to not give any news to him.

"Maybe they're meeting, Jess. Or there is a very sudden important matter. Therefore, Aldy or Ken did not have time to contact you" Jessica told herself. Jessica looked at her watch. The time has shown at 6pm.

Jessica kept staring at her screen. Hope Aldy calls back, or text him. However, Aldy did not give any news to Jessica.

The worried Jessica immediately ran out of her room. He looked around the main house. Lonely, there was no one but him and a few servants.

Kamila and Mother were visiting the Candra family residence. Jessica was there.

Jessica moved her legs towards the back house. He looked at some neatly lined rooms there, then looked for where Laras' room was. Only Laras could accompany him at this moment.

Jessica knocked on the door of Laras' room while trying to calm her feelings. Not long after, the door opened, and immediately revealed the figure of Laras there.

"Young Miss, what are you doing here?" asked Laras a little nervous and awkward.

"Nothing, I just want to ask you to accompany me in the main house. I was lonely there," Jessica smiled.

"But....Mr. Mu---"

"Oh, he hasn't come home yet. Maybe I'll be home tonight. Now you come along and accompany me there."

Jessica immediately pulled Laras' hand and invited the woman to enter the main house.

The barracks can only obey. He also said when Jessica invited him into the main kitchen to take some snacks.

"What about the ring? Do you like it?" jessica asked who was trying to calm her heart and mind.

"I really like it, Miss. And I'm grateful that Miss gave it to me."

Barrel smiled awkwardly. However, he felt bad if he had to get this close to Jessica. Especially when Jessica invited him to dinner together. I don't think he really deserves all that.

"Ras, please accompany me to dinner. Mom and Kamila will be home in an hour, while Mr. Aldy, I don't know when he'll be home. Please, accompany me to dinner, I'm hungry" Jessica asked Laras.

The girl thought for a moment. She was really sorry for Jessica, but what about her job? Obviously, he would violate the main house rules if he followed Jessica's will.

"All right, Young Miss. I will accompany Miss, and I am ready to bear all the consequences."

"Pardon my selfishness, Race."

"It's okay, for us, Young Miss's health and happiness are paramount. Miss eat, I will accompany Miss," said Laras smiling.

The girl noticed the look on Jessica's face, clearly depicted on the face was anxiety and also deep worry.

After dinner together, Laras asked for permission to return to the back house, because Mother and Kamila had already returned from the Candra family home. Jessica also allowed Laras, and thanked the girl for accompanying her since.

Kamila hugged Jessica's body tightly. But whatever it is when he loves that woman. Kamila did not have the heart to see Jessica sad especially until dinner alone.

Jessica nodded in understanding, then stepped her feet up the stairs towards her room.

The clock shows at 10 p.m. Jessica was still awake holding her cellphone. He kept staring at the screen, hoping that Aldy or Ken would contact him.

The hour hand continues to spin, not felt, now the clock has shown at 12 pm. And Jessica was already asleep an hour ago, with her hands hugging the bolster pillow that was next to her.

The sound of someone's footsteps made Jessica wake up from her sleep. He stared at the door of the room that was about to open, and sure enough, the door opened and Aldy immediately stepped into the room.

"Dear." Jessica got up and ran straight towards Aldy. He hugged Aldy's body tightly, although Aldy did not return his embrace.

For a long time, Jessica took off her arms. His eyes looked at Aldy's chocolate netra wistfully, but the man instead looked at him with a gaze that Jessica herself did not know meant.

"What's the matter, honey?" jessica asked in a slightly disappointed tone. He took a few steps back from Aldy.

While Aldy, the man did not answer anything. She stepped into the bathroom without looking at Jessica who needed an explanation.

"What's wrong with her? Why is he acting like that to me? Have I made a mistake? But what?" mumbling Jessica. Jessica stepped into the dressing room, intending to prepare a change of clothes for Aldy.

For a moment, Jessica stared at the white shirt Aldy had just taken off. And Jessica just realized, the shirt looks tangled, different from other used shirts.

Jessica grabbed the shirt that had been placed in the laundry basket. He looked at her full of question marks.

"What happened to you, honey? Why is there a woman's perfume on this shirt? And why does this look like....."

Jessica stopped her words. He's sure, Aldy wouldn't do that. Jessica was very confident and believed in Aldy, her husband.

Jessica put the shirt back on, without thinking negative things about her husband.

15 Minutes later, Aldy came out of the bathroom rubbing his hair in a small towel. He opened the locker room door, and immediately picked up the clothes that Jessica had prepared, without talking or staring at Jessica.

Jessica could only hold her breath, she did not want to be a weak woman. He must be strong as before.

After Aldy was neat, then Jessica again approached the man. Jessica did not even call him with the usual calls.

"Explain me! What's been going on?!" jessica asked Aldy who had already positioned himself on the bed.

"I had a sudden affair earlier, there were meetings with some clients. Hpku is dead and left behind in the company," explained Aldy briefly solid and clear.

"Hmmm, okay. Whether you're honest or not to me, but just so you know, I...."

Jessica did not continue her words. He lay on the edge of the bed, very far from Aldy.

"Then, what about your shirt? What meeting made your shirt shrink? And which client has glued herself to you, until the smell of her perfume sticks so closely to you?" jessica asked calmly, with her eyes closed.

Aldy quietly answered nothing, or did anything to explain everything to Jessica. It made Jessica's disappointment grow.

Jessica tried to close her eyes. Even though his heart and mind were no longer troubled at this time. However, Jessica's eyes opened again as Aldy got off the bed and stepped closer to the bedroom door.

"Where are you going?" jessica asked Aldy who was holding the doorknob.

"Bottom down, I'll sleep there!"

"Alright, then, allow me to get out of this house right now!" Jessica got up from her sleep and straightened her hair.

"Where are you going? It's midnight!"

"What do you care about me! I don't care if it's night or midnight. At least I want to get out of here, and calm my heart and mind!"

Jessica stepped closer to the door, but Aldy locked the door and stood there.

"What's? Why block me?! Step aside and don't block my steps anymore!"

Aldy remained silent. He was now staring at Netra Jessica who had blocked her tears. If this woman wasn't Jessica, she would've been crying all along.

Aldy glanced at the wall clock, the clock has now shown at 23:58.

"Well, if that's what you want, get out!" Aldy opened the door and gave Jessica a way out.

Jessica looked at Aldy for a moment and then stepped out of the room.

Dorr....

"Happy Birthday, honey......"

Aldy immediately hugged Jessica's body from behind, he lifted the body, hugging her gaunt.

Right, you're all pranking me! All right, take my revenge! (Jessica)

"Hey, you thought your dress was funny, huh! I know you're planning something for me, so I'm also starting to plan a reply for you" Jessica replied with a chuckle.

"Khemm, can you blow out the candles and cut the cake now? I can no longer bear to see all this," said Kamila who began to be jealous of the behavior of the two partners in front of her.

Jessica approached and closed her eyes in prayer. He asked for his age and his nutrition. And not to forget also he asked that his new family always be honoured and protected by the Creator.

After that, Jessica blew out the candles and also cut the medium-sized cake.

"Now you go in and sleep. Jessica and I want to sleep!" Aldy hugged Jessica tightly. Then he hinted to have Kamila, Ken, and Keisha return to their rooms.

After the three men had gone away. Then Aldy took Jessica to their room.

"How do I know I'm working on you?" aldy asked when Jessica had laid on the bed.

"Hahahaha, I was suspicious when you said you wanted to go down and sleep there."

"I also understood your purpose. You must be going down on purpose, keep hoping I catch up with you, right? After that, you will wish me a happy birthday! "Hahahaha, that's it. But it's okay, I appreciate your evil efforts." Jessica thought for a moment. There's something important he has to tell Aldy now.

"Darling?" call Jessica.

"Yes, what do you want? Want to ask for a birthday gift? Or want to p--"

"Shut up, let me do the talking now!" cut Jessica off and instantly make Aldy silent a thousand languages.

"I also have a surprise for you, Dad," Jessica whispered.

"Say, what a surprise!"

"You're listening to my words?" Jessica released herself from Aldy's embrace with a wryly bent face.

"Yes, I heard, honey," replied Aldy smiling puzzledly.

"What's? What did I say?"

"I also have a surprise for you, Dad," Aldy mimicked Jessica's words, then fell silent for a moment.

"Dad?" The man looked at Jessica with a brightly glowing face.

"You call me Dad? I'm gonna be a dad?" continued Aldy. Her face even shone more as Jessica confirmed her question.

"Dear." Aldy hugged Jessica tightly. Then stroked Jessica's flat stomach.

"I'm sorry, I'm too much at work. I'm sorry, honey. I'm sorry, I promise I won't repeat it."

"Here you go, I've used you. Isn't that right, kid?" jessica asked the fetus that was still in her stomach.

Thanks, God. You have given me a wife as good as Jessica. And thanks for the presence of this fetus, I am truly grateful to You. I am truly grateful for all your blessings. Thanks, God. (Aldy)

Aldy continued to hug Jessica's body tightly. Until they dissolve in sleep and beautiful dreams that have become real.
