4. One More Step!

Keisha tidied up his things, then held up his bag to go home. He walked with a cheerful face towards the hospital parking lot.

When he was about to enter. Suddenly, Arya's hand touched her shoulder a little rough.

"Hey, what are you doing?" keisha asked and then brushed Arya's hand away.

"Take care of yourself" said Arya and left Keisha.

Keisha looked at the man confused. He decides to get into his car and calls Ken.

"Hello, Ken. There's something I want to say" Keisha said straight to the point.

"Yes, don't talk much, Kei, just get your car in now. And don't go home from the main line, choose the back lane of the hospital" Ken replied seriously.

"What's wrong? Are you watching me?" ask Keisha.

"Don't say much, and one more, don't turn off the phone. Remember, go back through the back lane!"

"All right."

Keisha put on his headset and started the car and drove it at a normal speed.

Keisha's cheerful mood suddenly changed. He kept looking straight at the road in front of him and tried to focus.

"Key, you still hear me?" ask Ken across the street.

"Yes I still hear you."

"You stay focused and also listen to me, trust me, honey. I'm all around you."

When the road that Keisha passed by began to desolate. Suddenly a bright red sports car drove towards Keisha's car, ready to hit him.

"Kei, listen to me!"

"One."

"Two."

"Three."

"Deliver your car at high speed! And a bit of a walk to the side of the road!"

Keisha flinched, immediately doing as Ken commanded.

The sound of explosions was heard from behind. Keisha stopped and looked back, and it turned out that the red sports car had overturned and exploded there.

Keisha closed his mouth in shock, without him noticing Ken and the police kept knocking on his car door.

"Kei, are you okay, honey?" ken asked worriedly when Keisha got out of her car.

"I'm fine, but what about that car?" ask Keisha who has entered in Ken's warm embrace.

"We'll take care of it, miss" replied one of the policemen who had come with Ken earlier.

"Who is he, Ken? Why would he want to do that to me?" ask Keisha.

Ken releases Keisha from his arms. Then hold the two cheeks of the woman.

"Whoever he is, whatever his motives, I will not be silent to see him want to hurt you," Ken replied as he looked at Keisha's face.

☆ Flashback ☆

Ken walked up to Keisha's car, checking the state of the car.

"Cih, very cheap way," muttered Ken when he found out the car's brakes were no longer working.

He immediately contacted the workshop and asked them to fix Keisha's car.

"Then what about me? I have to go to the hospital, Ken," Keisha said confusedly.

"Here, you're in this car."

Ken handed Keisha the keys to the car. The car Ken checked and Ken deliberately gave to Keisha, because his car is bulletproof and also has the same color as Keisha's car.

After Keisha's car drove to the hospital. Ken immediately contacted his co-worker, who was none other than Hendra.

Hendra has a pretty good relationship with Arya, making Hendra know whatever Arya is planning, including harming Keisha today.

When Hendra found out about it, he immediately contacted Ken, and explained everything carefully. At first Ken did not believe in Hendra too much, considering Hendra was a close friend of Arya, it could be just a mere motive, Ken thought.

However, after Hendra managed to steal information about the tactics Arya used, and immediately reported it to Ken, making Ken immediately trust him.

Tactics have leaked out and it's been stored in Ken's brain. And luckily, Arya was not at all suspicious about it. He continued to use the tactics he had designed carefully, which in fact had reached the ears of Hendra and Ken.

In her tactics, Arya chose the main line of the hospital. Wh why? Because the line gives 80% chance to launch the action. Unlike the back lane which only provides as many opportunities, 50%.

When Arya's car came out of hiding, Ken and Hendra immediately gave a warning to the police who were ready to lurk. And sure enough, when the road that Arya and Keisha passed began to quiet, then Arya took a swing to hit Keisha's car.

Unfortunately, when the car had gone and one more step hit Keisha's car. Arya immediately lost focus, making her own trapped in the device she designed. Arya's car immediately floated and overturned in the middle of the road. Not long after, his coworkers fired a bullet that was supposed to be for Keisha but fell to Arya, and immediately made the car explode and burn violently.

Flashback off

Keisha rounded his eyes in disbelief. He turned to Ken, then looked back at the sports car that had been overturned again, and had shown who the driver was.

"Doctor Arya?" keisha mummy.

He glanced at Ken once more. Then turned to look at Arya's body that had been burned to the ground.

"Ken."

Keisha hugged Ken tightly. He couldn't imagine what if Ken hadn't saved him earlier. It must be him now who has been burned to the ground like Arya.

A few minutes later, Hendra appeared with a faint smile on his lips. Hendra shook Ken's hand and smiled at the man.

"Thank you senior," said Ken thanks Hendra who was his senior in the field of martial arts.

"Together, Ken." Hendra smiled at Keisha and then turned to look at Ken.

"May you always be in His protection. And things like this do not happen again to anyone in the future," continued Hendra.

Hendra said that there were some things that he had to finish, one of which was teaching at a college that had returned to silence without Jessica.

Villa Cambodia

Aldy was standing in front of the window, talking to Ken over the phone. The two were discussing the incident that had just happened to Keisha.

"Who's calling?" jessica asked as she hugged Aldy's body from behind.

Aldy turned around and looked at Jessica. He kept his HP away.

"Ken, wait a little while longer" he said, then kissed Jessica on the forehead.

Aldy brought his HP closer. About 3 minutes later, the two had finished talking and cut off the phone.

"What's wrong? Why did Ken call that long? Why don't you come here?" ask Jessica.

"There are some things that need to be discussed right now, and it's impossible, right? he came here, while the company and Keisha were in need of him?" aldy answered and took Jessica's hand out of the Cambodian Villa.

"What happened to Keisha?"

"It's okay, he's fine. Don't worry, Ken's there for her."

"All right."

Aldy took Jessica in the car, then drove the car to a place that Jessica might have visited before.

Dusk Cafe

This cafe looks lonely, not the same crowded when Jessica and Laras visited here at that time. Aldy clasped Jessica's hands tightly, climbing the small stairs to get to the twilight cafe.

"Darling, why so quiet? Are they closed?" jessica asked and sat down in the chair in the middle of the cafe. There was no other chair, other than that.

"Yes, because today is special for us, this cafe is only for us, only for me and my wife" Aldy replied smilingly.

Yeah, God...

Why is he doing all this, this looks excessive to me. (Jessica)

"Sussst, keep those words, I know, you don't like to be treated like this. But believe me, my husband just wants the best for you. That's it, understand."

Jessica got up from her seat, then hugged Aldy's body tightly. He stared at the man's beautiful brown netra, and immediately landed a short kiss on Aldy's lips.

"Thank you for everything, I love you."

Aldy looked at Jessica, and he put his face closer to her.

"Repeat once again" said Aldy, and immediately made Jessica's face meet red.

"No way!" reject Jessica and turn her face red, out of shame.

"Alright, I won't force you" Aldy said in a disappointed tone.

Cup

Jessica kissed the man's cheek, then smiled sweetly.

"Here you go, now can we eat. Don't you love your wife?" said Jessica.

"Hahahaha, okay, wife, sit down."

Aldy pulled out a chair for Jessica, then sat down after her woman sat down before him.
