Vynt Story: THIEF

Vynt turned his bike around at a nearby twenty-four-hour Cafe. After parking the bike properly, he then helped Fady remove the helmet and lower the woman's body from the motorcycle.

"Aaahh, my face is cold" Vynt said, patting her own cheek. "Are you okay, Fa?" vynt asked Fady who gawked in front of him—after seeing Vynt's spontaneous behavior that unexpectedly looks adorable.

Fady seemed to nod briefly. How could I be cold if you put it all on me. Fady muttered in the heart.

Although he still does not understand how a Vynt can find it on the side of the road, but honestly, he enjoys the existence of the young man who is now with him. Fady was grateful at least he was not alone when his mood was as chaotic as this.

"Yuk's en route, I really need something warm" Vynt asked and touched Fady's back to guide her into the cafe.

Vynt immediately spoke to one of the Cafe waiters who was cleaning the table shortly after the two of them entered.

"Where's the private room?" vynt asked the young man in a light brown uniform in English.

"I'm sorry, we don't have anything like that, but in the corner there are some chairs that have baffles on the sides of the table. Maybe you'd like to," replied the Cafe waiter, pointing to the tables in question.

Vynt immediately turned to the direction the Cafe waiter pointed at and nodded slowly.

"Okay, thank you," he said to the waiter. "Fa, you sit there! I'll get you something, what do you want?" vynt asked attentively.

Fady just put his shoulder down. He didn't answer because he didn't know what he wanted. Fady doesn't even know what he needs and he wants to do it right now. Fady is completely blank.

Vynt sighed heavily after seeing the response from Fady. His facial expression really looked worried. A moment later he only nodded once and then said again...

"Yes already, all right. I'll pick something for you. Sit first!" pinta Vynt resigned.

Fady obeyed Vynt and walked to the chairs in the corner of the Cafe. After finding a place that felt most comfortable for him, he immediately occupied the chair after removing Vynt's jacket first.

A few minutes later, Vynt arrived with a tray full of food and drinks.

Fady gawked at him, "Why so much?" ask her with a hoarse voice that she had just realized. "Aah!!!" Fady became embarrassed himself for making his hoarse voice. Reflexes shut their mouth.

Vynt, who noticed it, went straight back to the cashier to order some warm ginger tea and brought it to the table where Fady was.

"You drink this, you don't drink anything else" Vynt said.

"But you've bought so much, are you going to drink it all yourself?" Fady astonishment.

Vynt pulled the tip of her right lip to the side, and called for a servant to come closer to their table. After the waiter arrived, Vynt gave him most of the drink he had bought and left him only a cup of cappuccino and a glass of ginger tea for Fady.

"Can you please spend all that? I bought too many drinks" Vynt told the waiter, smiling.

The waiter was dumbstruck but eventually nodded in understanding. And when Vynt turned to Fady, it turned out that the woman was also the same as the waitress.

"Have you?" Vynt raised both eyebrows.

Fady can only shake his head. He didn't stop thinking about Vynt's behavior just now. But for him, it was still better than throwing all those drinks away.

"Vynt, did you put a tracking device in my head?" asked Fady suddenly after sipping his ginger tea.

Hearing the blunt accusations, Vynt immediately choked on his own cappuccino. Then he replied, "I've never done that to anyone, let alone you," she replied with a slight amused smile.

"If you don't, then are you following me on purpose?" ask Fady again.

This time Vynt fell silent, his faint gel expression suddenly disappearing, then he lowered his head. Fady could understand the meaning of Vynt's reaction.

"But why?" ask Fady lirih.

"I'm worried about you" Vynt replied briefly without turning to the woman next to him.

Because I just realized that I like you. Vynt added in his heart.

Vynt looked up, but did not turn his head towards Fady. The young man's eyes glared towards the glass window before them which showed a scene outside the Cafe that had started raining.

Fady tepekur's. He felt embarrassed to make a Vynt who was just an intern at his workplace worry about him. He then kept quiet while drinking his tea again.

"You can tell me if you want, and you can also shut up if you don't want to tell me" Vynt said. Once again his gaze looked down upon him in his cappuccino cup.

Fady was silent, but his brain was thinking. He considered devoting everything to someone so that the tightness in his chest could subside.

But does it have to be Vynt? Think Fady. But if not Vynt then who else? Though all who had known almost everything was just this young man. Fady glanced at Vynt for a moment, then took a heavy breath.

A moment later he began to tell the incident at Adent's house to Vynt slowly. And strangely enough, he so smoothly revealed that barrage of heartbreaking experiences.

Though Fady thought, he would cry as much as he could when telling it, but in fact he did not. Fady was astonished, but he finally felt grateful for it.

While Vynt listened carefully to his senior's story. Although he was unusually furious and disgusted at the foolish man who had wasted Fady, he tried to remain calm in front of the woman.

"I may not be a good woman, Vynt. But my culture, my religion and my family forbid doing that before there is a marriage bond. And I just want to respect that rule, I want to reward myself for a religiously entitled man? Am I wrong, Vynt?"

Fady closed his speech with a question, a question that was thrown almost like a whisper, a whisper that sounded so poignant in Vynt's ear.

Vynt stared fixedly at the woman beside him, her hand outstretched toward Fady's face to wipe away a tear that had almost fallen from the corner of the woman's eye with her thumb.

"Stop saying you're not a good woman? Because to me you don't look like that at all. And I'm sure, people who sincerely love you would agree with me" Vynt replied firmly, but the expression he showed was so gentle.

Hearing his junior's reply, Fady felt warmth in his heart, but from the outside he showed a smile. He felt stupid himself because he realized that what Vynt said just now might be true, only that he had been too bad to judge himself.

"There are still many paths to happiness, Fa. Why did you choose the painful path? Oh, come on! You are a smart and beautiful woman. That guy doesn't deserve you at all," Vynt tries once again to encourage Fady.

Again Fady could only feel ashamed of himself. How could someone younger than him think so wisely, while he was blinded by love for a man who could not appreciate it at all.

And without Fady guessing, Vynt then grabbed a hand that was on his lap. Fady turned to Vynt with a shocked expression.

"I'm grateful you guys broke up, so I don't have to take you for granted from that kind of guy. To be honest, I don't think it's worth fighting over you with her."

"What do you mean you're acting like this?" Fady was surprised.

"I like you, Fa. Just pick me! I'll lead you on a path that won't hurt you" Vynt said frankly.

Instantly Fady's face was blushing made. He did not expect to immediately get a love confession from Vynt on the same day he broke up from Adent. He did not expect a man as young and handsome as Vynt could like him. Fady looked down to hide his red face.

"No need to answer directly. I'll prove my feelings slowly let you believe" Vynt said.

Inevitably Fady could only nod slowly. He still needed time to reorganize his recently broken heart.

"You must be very hungry now.Eat all that I have impressed you! If you don't like something, you can order something else" Vynt said, releasing his hand from Fady's.

"How do you know I'm so hungry now?" Fady looked over in wonder.

"Soalya my best friend in Indonesia—Beth! Always ask for food every time he is heartbroken. She said the heartbroken woman needed only two things, a backrest and food. So I think right now you also need both of those things," said Vynt innocently.

Fady smiled wryly as the mangosteen heard the young man's explanation. He picked up a doughnut and started chewing it. Both of them saw the rain falling from behind the glass window.

***

After nearly two hours trapped in the cafe due to heavy rain, Vynt and Fady were finally able to go home after the rain completely subsided.

And because while at the Cafe, Fady told me about the door lock that was thrown down the shoe cabinet, Vynt intended to help Fady to shift the closet so that Fady could take the key.

However, upon arriving in front of Fady's flat, the two were shocked by so many people crowding. Fady who immediately thought nothing of the crowd immediately ran to find out what really happened.

Seeing Fady running straight into the crowd in front of his flat, Vynt immediately followed the woman. Just in case something dangerous happens.

Fady and Vynt were finally able to see the door of Fady's flat that was already wide open with a few policemen standing guard there, as well as a middle-aged woman who turns out to be the landlord of the flat building that Fady rented.

"What is this, Mrs.Yaya?" ask Fady in Thai.

"There was a thief in your room, Miss Fady," reported Mrs.Yaya in a worried tone.

"What?" fady Sahut. "Where is that guy now?" ask Fady again.

He really did not expect if his carelessness to leave the door of his flat unlocked would cause a furore like this.

Vynt, who had no idea what she was saying, asked Fady what it meant. Fady explained quickly. And Vynt immediately felt furious hearing that.

Fady had not been able to squeeze into his flat, suddenly Mrs.Yaya shouted, "That, the guy!" yaya pointed to a man being herded out of Fady's flat with both hands held by police.

And when he saw the man's face, Fady was immediately shocked to death. Because it turns out that the man who suspected the thief was none other than Adent.

"Fabys! Please tell them that I am not a thief. I just want to get my stuff here. But they accuse me of stealing" cried Adent as soon as he saw Fady standing at the door of his flat.

"Do you know this guy?" ask the police to Fady.

"Of course he knows me, sir. We're ex-lovers, I just want to pick up my stuff that's here" Adent tried to explain.

"What stuff do you mean?" ask Fady confused.

"Of course the stuff I gave you first," snapped Adent annoyed.

"What's? Isn't that a gift to me?" Fady's distraught.

"Indeed, but we're broken up now, so I'll take it back. But these people accused me of stealing it, instead" cried Adent not to accept.

Fady felt his emotions overflow. How could he love a man so low? Her thought. This man was even shameless, wanting to take back what he had given as a gift. Especially on the same day after he broke off their relationship. Really sickening! Fady was furious.

"Fabys! Quickly tell these cops that I'm not a thief! And tell them to let me go!" pinta Adent with a snapshot.

Fady became more and more emotional. He then straightened up, raised his chin high, and stood up to challenge Adent in front of everyone.

"YES! HE IS A THIEF! yelled Fady not accept.

"FADY! Whatchu mean?" Adent still dared to yell at Fady in front of everyone even though both hands were already held by the police.

"He went into my private flat without my permission, and he took the things that had been given to me which meant that they were already mine. Is that not STEALING his name?" shouted Fady loud.

And the crowd immediately approved Fady's opinion and started shouting to provoke the police to immediately bring the shameless man.

"Basic thief!"

"Just put him in jail, sir!"

"Not shameless! Huuuuu..."

"Crazy man! Basic sick!"

"Bring him in, Mr. Police! Just get that guy!"

People scream so emotionally. There were even some of them throwing garbage furiously towards Adent.

The police then drove Adent into a patrol car. Adent who still did not accept himself was arrested and instead shouted angrily and threatened Fady.

Fady fluttered where he stood. His whole body shook violently. Both of his hands clenched in restraining his anger.

She almost cried as Vynt swiftly hugged her tightly and hid Fady's face in her arms. And Fady ended up actually crying out loud in Vynt's arms.
