After lunch together, except for Ms. Naina who was sleeping her granddaughter on the second floor, they all gathered by the pool. They chose the location for deliberation in hopes of slightly reducing the tightness in Milla's chest when the girl was in a more soothing environment.
Mbok Sri just finished delivering a cold drink to the four of them when Beth and Rizzi suddenly appeared from the side door, "Holaaaa!" rizzi exclaimed as she waved her hands excitedly.
Seeing their appearance, Keira immediately asked Mbok Sri to bring additional drinks for two people who just joined.
"You're home at this hour, Beth?" asked Keira in surprise.
"It's Saturday, Kei. Wealthy new employee' I gini dapetnya short shift if the weekend. So it's half a day!" reply Beth while taking off her footwear one by one, pushing the black pantofel shoes away from the edge of the pool, then landing themselves on the side of Keira who was sitting cross-legged.
"Trus, how come you're here with this alien?" tanya Tyo who was straddling on the other side of Keira.
"Anjiirr, luckily this is your house, try this my house I've kicked you out, Tyo! Damn, why am I an alien!" rizzi sewot.
Everyone there laughed except Rizzi. Even Beth chuckled without hesitation even though the man they were laughing at had just given her a ride.
Still with a laugh that had yet to subside, Beth raised both of her shoulders and replied, "Know she's nongol in front of me when I'm again standing on the sidewalk of the road ahead of Dae-Ho Trip, mau nyari ojek online. He said it was a passing coincidence." Beth replied innocently.
"Ooohhh..gituuu...it just so happens?" Tyo pretended to be mangosteen while emphasizing the word 'Continue' that Beth touched on.
Afterwards, with Tyo compact, Said and Keira both squinted towards Rizzi with expressions implying Modus-Lo-Receh-Banget statement.
Feeling unable to hide his clumsy face as his veiled intention was discovered, Rizzi immediately turned the attention of the three pairs of eyes looking at him suspiciously by turning towards Milla and directly thrusting her hand at the girl, "Is this what Milla is called? Fucking dong!"
"Eh, yes! I'm Millana Risty!" milla's reply was a little shocked by Rizzi's sudden helping of hands.
"Not be surprised! I'm Rizzi. And don't call me 'Mas' because it doesn't match my monthly look. So, call Rizzi, Okay!" reply Rizzi while grasping Milla's hand quickly and then immediately take it back off.
"Well, this guy's getting worse!" burbur Said from nyeplos. "Then' hair rust is it called kule-bulean?! Don't believe it, Mill! It's HOAX!" said was fiery.
"Eehh, cheque!!! Your mouth is very nervous ya rich'nya, here and here I garukin using a garden fork!" maki Rizzi.
"Lagian.umur already pantes called 'Om' so still asking to be called 'Kak'. Hilliiih.hh.....!" Said rolled his eyes without fear.
"Hehh, kid. Can't be fooled you!" rizzi sewot.
Again everyone laughed watching the interaction between Said and Rizzi who attacked each other like Tom and Jerry.
"And I'm Bethsa Putry." it's Beth's turn to give her hand to Milla as their laughter all starts to subside.
"Oh, yes Brother Bethsa! I'm Milla." welcome Milla's still clumsy.
"Call Beth, and I'm sorry for the disaster you just had" Beth said sincerely. "But how could your fate be eleven twelve equal Keira. He used to be a victim of a fire at his place of work." added Beth reminiscing about Keira's past.
"Waahh. So inget, I'm the first to know that Keira's workplace is on fire!" Rizzi put his palms together in front of his face.
"Udah-have not discussed my past, now that we gather here to discuss the fate of Milla. Do you have any advice?" Keira cut quickly.
"Wait a minute, we better ask Milla. What are his things that he can take from yesterday's fire?" cetus Tyo's.
After that, the five pairs of eyes that were there were all fixed towards Milla. Makes the girl suddenly nervous as well as nervous.
"Th..ng..." Milla twirled her finger while tracing the faces surrounding her. The faces waiting for an answer from him patiently. Those faces that seemed sincere were intending to help him.
When Milla was still thinking whether she deserved so much help from these newfound people, Keira suddenly touched the softness of her slightly shaking hands.
"Milla, don't be afraid and don't hesitate! Be honest with us, don't be shy! All those who are lost are entitled to help. Even though we're new to it, it doesn't erase the fact that you're my friend. And I want to help you. We're all here, we want to help you" Keira said sincerely.
Milla could no longer stem her full-on feelings. He blinked quickly so as not to spill his tears in front of his helpers. By holding back the tightness, Milla finally reveals that she can only save her wallet, mobile phone and savings that she will use to pay for college next semester.
However, he had already borrowed a hair dryer from Keira earlier. So after this he intended to dry the banknotes that he was now storing in a dry towel in the guest room that he was using.
"Then your college equipment?" ask Keira.
Milla looked weak. "There's nothing, Mother! Not even my important documents survived. After everything." he replied softly.
"If college equipment can still be purchased and for notes during college can still be obtained by borrowing the records of other students who are in class with Milla, right?" sahut Beth gave her advice.
Said and Keira were both accepting Beth's advice. "But what about the important documents? Can it be deleted again?" Keira looked sad.
"I can still help you with your business as long as Milla still has ID cards and copies of those documents!" tyo Sahut.
Milla's head looked up slightly. At first glance there was a glimmer of hope in his large and dark eyeballs. "Really, Mas? Can I really get some more?" tanyanya could not believe it.
Tyo nodded with certainty. "Can, Mill! You're calm, even though it takes time but it can."
"Then tomorrow monday I will go directly to Tata Usaha to ask for a copy of the High School diploma with my copy of the population document." he promised with sparkling eyes.
"Okay, but I can only help you get the documents that have copies. If nothing seems like it's gonna be hard, Mill!" Tyo. "If your birth certificate, how?" ask Tyo again.
"Maybe my Orphanage has a copy of my birth certificate, because they were the ones who worked so hard to get it. So there's no way they didn't keep a copy" Milla replied.
Tyo nodded in agreement. "Okay, if that's how you used to get all those copyan documents, just hand them over to me!"
Milla nodded enthusiastically. Now his heart is a little relieved just by knowing his fate as a resident of this country is not considered illegal.
"Trus how's the same place she lived after this?" it's Said's turn to interrupt.
Hearing Said's question, Milla's countenance returned moody. As if he had just been reminded of another matter that was no less important. Now Milla seems confused where she should stay. Even though he had paid the cost for a full year because it was a request from the homeowner.
"Yes, I don't know where else to live, brother! Cost money I've been paying for a whole year. Seeing the condition of my host, I myself could not bear to ask for the rest. But I also don't have any money to rent a room. Even if I'm desperate to use some of the tuition for next semester, I'm afraid the salary of my current team will not be enough to cover the lack of money in time."
Milla could only sigh slowly ending her sentence. He lowered his head deeply to avoid the sad gaze mixed with pity that implied from the people who surrounded him.
The silent atmosphere rang for a moment, until Keira finally re-opened her voice to ask, "Aren't you applying for the scholarship program, Mill?"
Milla nodded slowly still with her head lowered. "Our campus has no full scholarship program or scholarship for orphans, Ma'am. So I only enrolled in the PPA Scholarship program and BBP PPA* only." he replied.
Raising her head, Milla revealed that at first she almost lost the opportunity to be able to enroll in the PPA and BBP PPA Scholarship program, which she said, if only Mr. Bambang from the Business Administration section did not help him complete documents that are less like; parent data and parent income certificate that clearly Milla can not show.
"But the aid fund can only be disbursed and I use it in semester three to semester five later. So during the first and second semesters and the sixth semester and so on until the cost of writing the thesis I have to try it myself." he explained with a smile.
"Have you ever tried to find a sponsor who could give you a full scholarship program? From a foundation or a company maybe?" asked Rizzi who suddenly remembered that there was also such a way.
Hearing Rizzi's spontaneous question, Milla's face immediately turned deathly pale. Body vibrates. Not only that, his eyes widened wide with the seeds of tears that began to pool in his fertilizer.
Everyone who was there was surprised to see Milla's reaction, not least Rizzi as the person who asked the question. He was worried that there were words that had offended Milla until the girl suddenly looked so emotional.
What happened to Milla??? The question was compact they asked in each other's hearts.
