Feeling that her hand was never released by the young man before her, Milla pulled her hand slowly and carefully. Hoping not to make the opponent shake his hand was offended by his actions.
Said who felt Milla's fingers wriggling while trying to release the hand from her grasp immediately self-conscious, "Sorry-sorry, likes to automatically ngehalu if the same page of girls. Moreover, the rich sweet' you." Said was even mobs.
Milla with all her might held her gelatinous laughter hearing Said's reciting. His hands are now free he uses to strengthen his grip on the backpack that covers his skirt.
Fortunately Said was quite sensitive to the girl's actions. And without being asked he immediately took off the party coat he was wearing and he circled it on Milla's waist.
"Excuse me, Mil. But I think it's more effective to cover up your skirt than that backpack" Said said as he made a simple knot with his suit sleeve on Milla's abdomen. "Naahh, already!" Said smiled with satisfaction at Milla's appearance now.
While Milla herself was dumbfounded for a moment before she was worried that she would dirty the expensive-looking suit when wearing it. "Loohh, no! Dirty later!" said Milla panicked while trying to remove the knot that Said made.
However, Said's hand movements were more nimble to hold Milla's hand when he was about to take off the suit. "Nothing! That's okay! Let it get dirty, I've been using it for tonight's show so let's wash it later. Just calm down!" sergeant Said fast.
"Isn't it really anything?" milla asked in doubt. Because if until the young man asks for a replacement for the cost of laundry for a suit it must be expensive considering the suit itself looks expensive.
As if able to read Milla's mind, Said again convinced the girl. "Yes, really! I won't ask you to change the laundry money if that's what you're afraid of!" Said chuckles.
Kontan alone Milla felt embarrassed because Said managed to dismiss his concerns with a sharp. He could only repay Said's kindness with thanks. "If so, thank you very much!" milla retorted slightly lowered her head to hide her embarrassed face.
"Well then, shall I take you home now?" ask Said later.
Milla immediately nodded considering that it was late at night. Now another worry comes to the girl's mind without Said's knowledge of course.
Said leads Milla to the parking lot of his car which turns out not too far from where they collided. "Where do you want to sit, Mil? In front of me, or sitting in the back?" ask her before opening the door for Milla.
"At the front, brother! I don't feel good sitting in the back, but it's just a ride!" embarrassed answer.
Said smiled at the girl's answer and opened the door on the front passenger seat. "Please, Miss Sweet!" he lets Milla in while bowing, pretending to be a servant who is opening the door for her big lady.
Milla laughed crisply as well as blushed. Cute young man—his mind. He then jumped into Said's car which was quite large considering the type included in the adventure car.
After closing the car door carefully, Said ran around the front of his car and entered through the steering door. "So, what area do you live in?" said while putting on his seat belt.
"Say's sister walk first I'll show her the direction!" answer Milla.
"Ooh, okay. Means get out of here follow the groove first to the left, huh?" tanyanya.
"Yes." said Milla while nodding.
Said began to drive his car carefully considering that he was not driving alone this time, but brought a girl with him who he had to keep his safety.
"By the way, how do you call my sister to me? How old are you?" ask Said wonder.
"Maybe I look more mature because I wear makeup but I'm actually still in the eleventh grade, sister. I'm still a High School student." replied Milla innocently.
"Seriously???" Said was surprised to hear that fact. In his heart he was again disappointed, because he intended to approach Milla who was thought to be his age.
"Yes, Brother. Seriously! I don't even have a ID yet. It's terrible, but it hasn't been. Hehe." Milla smirked funny. Making Said angry mixed with the smell of seeing it.
O Allah, Ummiiii... Apes is your son! Failed to keep getting stuck. Just want to mengyepik Andrea eehhh turned out to be-genesis. Now get the acquaintance of a sweet girl, not his year is still a boy. Can be suspected of my pedophile if reckless dating a high school boy. Ampuuns....
"Lho you don't have a KTP yet can work part time with Mbak Devy? Can you?" Said asked again while continuing to drive.
"That's because Devy and I have known each other for a long time. Our relationship is pretty close. That's why Miss Devy nawarin working part time to me without any guarantee" said Milla.
Said only the mangosteen listened to Milla's words. He thought maybe Mommy Devy and Milla were neighbors or something that would allow them to be close.
"That means you often follow Miss Devy to take part in events like this?" tanya Said started kepo. I don't know why he's so obsessed with Gadia's personal life.
"Not really. Honestly, this is the first time. Because Madam Devy knows I need money for independent capital when I go to college. That's why he helped give me a job." again Milla gave an explanation.
"Waahh, that's great of you. High School still has the intention to be independent." Said immediately felt shocked and ashamed of himself who until this moment was still alive with full scholarship from his parents.
Even if the Ummi does not pursue his fashion business, they are still very able to enjoy a prosperous life. Especially now, after the Abi left them for eternity, the Ummi who did not want to stay silent began to build his fashion business which used to only be acted as a hobby.
Armed with a basic science in the field of fashion that is not playing games, namely the BA Honours Fashion Design degree he achieved at Middlesex University Dubai, Said's mother has a qualified ability in developing her fashion business.
Evidently, now Said's mother already has several branches of exclusive boutiques both domestically and in several other countries, such as: Riyadh, Dubai, Malaysia, and Singapore.
"Later on that front crossroad, turn right a little bit, brother! There's a light green building, please stop there!" Milla gave orders.
"Okay, ready!"
As directed by Milla, Said stopped his car in front of the fence of a building that looked like a pesantren but was simpler and small enough to be called a pesantren.
Said immediately turned off his car engine, and quickly went down first and opened the door for Milla from the outside. After both getting off the car, Said just saw a large board that read—Al Hafizh— Orphanage which turned out to be the identity of the building that was plastered on the front of the gate.
He was shocked and reflexively asked Milla, "You live here?" tanyanya.
Milla looked embarrassed but tried to remain calm and nodded. "Mbak Devy was one of the regular donors in this place. He comes here every two weeks, so we're very close." explained Milla.
"If you stay here? What about your parents?" ask Said again. It seems that the young man did not understand what situation Milla was living in all this time.
Fortunately Milla was neither offended nor angry at Said's outspoken question. Either because of familiarity or what, but Milla was actually able to answer Said's very personal question.
"I don't know who and where my parents or my family are, brother! One of the officers found me stranded on the side of the road when I was four. Then they brought me here and from then on I've lived here until now" he said frankly.
At once Said felt guilty for asking that. He also apologized sincerely. "Sorry, Miles. I'm not important, am I?" regrettable.
Milla smiled but she could not blame the young man. The girl shook her head weakly, "No, brother! It's nothing." he replied.
Suddenly there was a clattering of keys that intersected with the gate. It seemed that someone was opening the iron fence from the inside, and soon appeared an elderly man with completely whitened hair and looked friendly.
"Just come home, Mil?" ask the man to Milla who has turned to the fence since the figure of the father has not appeared from behind the fence.
"Yes, Mr. Kholis! Just nyampe me." replied Milla politely.
"Where's Devy's mom?" ask the father.
"Mbak Devy is still at the hotel, sir. Haven't come home. I was told to go home by myself for fear that Mbak Devy was still a long time but then there was a small incident so I was escorted home with Said" he reported.
"Said brother?" the father echoes Milla's call to Said while looking at the young man.
Said swiftly extended his hand with a slight bow to introduce himself. "Assalamu'alaikum, sir! Good evening. I'm Said Najib, a friend of the bride whose show was hosted by Devy. Milla was the same I accidentally crashed in front of the hotel until her skirt was torn, so Ms. Devy asked me to take Milla home, sir." he explained.
"Oh, so!" said it. "And I am Kholis, the superintendent of this Orphanage." replied Mr. Kholis introduced himself while shaking Said's hand.
Said nodded awkwardly while scratching his head.
"You? How close do you know Nak Devy?" asked Mr. Kholis with a suspicious look at Said.
"Oh, I'm not too close to Devy, sir. I only knew her when Ms. Devy started helping with my friend's wedding preparations. I'm still a third-year student at the University of Tourism, sir!" answer Said firmly.
Mr. Kholis seemed to trust Said's honest words as it was. "Then thank you for driving Milla home, Nak Said" Mr. Kholis said sincerely to Said. After that he then told Milla to immediately go because it was night.
Milla nodded at Mr. Kholis then looked back at Said to say, "Thank you, Brother! For the ride and for the loan of his suit" said Milla sincerely while returning the suit owned by Said covering the lower part of his body. And after seeing Said nod his head, Milla went straight into the gate of the Orphanage with the supervisor of the Orphanage.
Said was silent on the spot after seeing Milla and Mr. Kholis disappear from behind the building's gate. For some reason, suddenly his chest felt tight knowing that a girl like Milla had a life like that.
And again, Said could only sigh because he was unable to do anything to help the girl. Said lethargicly finally left the Orphanage in the silence of night.
