Edric did not catch up with Deandra who had already left first. He chose to calm himself in the office, Alice's words disturbed his heart.

So he had been the one who paid less attention to the woman until Alice felt lonely. Because he was too busy proving himself to Dad Harry if he could lead two companies at once.

While Alice returns the car she borrowed to the man who protected her when Edric's men want to keep her. "I don't want to continue this plan anymore. Edric doesn't want me anymore." The woman smiled and gave her car keys.

If you think she's a strong woman then you're wrong. She was just an ordinary woman who had nothing. Edric wanted to keep her from bothering Deandra.

And Jovie is no longer on his side. Alice is alone now. Who cares about his heart that hurts so much. Both Edric and Jovie had thrown it away.

"You gave up after struggling so far?" Asked the man, he could see the sadness on Alice's face.

"I struggle if I have no hope anymore. I have nothing against them" said Alice honestly. "Thank you for supporting me. I'm going to get away from here."

"Stay in my apartment" the man gave me his apartment key and an atm card. "And this is to meet your needs."

Alice shook her head, "no need. I'll find a job. I'm graduating soon, I don't want to depend on anyone else."

"Bring up, if you don't need it now maybe someday. Don't hesitate to ask me if you need help."

"Thank you" said Alice. Apparently there are still people who want to help him. The man replied with a smile.

Deandra waited for Edric to give her an explanation but the man had only been quiet since returning from the office this afternoon. Even her husband looked cold to her after their meeting with Alice this afternoon.

Ellea was used to eating in silence. Just being a witness of the couple's husband and wife making out. But something's different tonight.

After dinner Ellea returned to the room, she did not want to take care of the problems that occurred between her brother and sister-in-law. And so is Deandra. Edric entered his study. His mind was still on Alice.

While waiting for Edric to enter Deandra's room to do his college work. He wants to sort things out with Edric tonight too. Doesn't want to make his brain overthink and make answers that his head makes itself.

But until ten o'clock at night Edric did not also enter the room. The woman chose to lay her body down.

Not long after Deandra fell asleep Edric went into the room. He deliberately avoided his wife.

"What am I feeling now? Do I really love you, or just want to satisfy my desire for you." Edric asked inwardly looking at Deandra who was sleeping behind him.

His heart is at a crossroads. He felt guilty for Alice for blaming the woman for everything that happened. It was he who made the root of the destruction of their relationship.

"What should I do now? I can't divorce you." Edric held his hand against rubbing Deandra's head.

Deandra hasn't slept yet. He who had wanted to talk undo his intentions, because Edric seemed not to want to see it.

"Will I get rid of it now, if Edric comes back to that woman." Deandra pressed her chest that was throbbing pain. He thought he had conquered Edric's heart, but he didn't.
