"Edric, I'm allergic to caterpillars." Deandra hugged Edric's hand tighter and tighter with a deliberately pampered voice.
"Let's get out of here" Edric chimed in on Deandra's remarks. It wasn't time for him to get Alice to pay back for what she did.
"So this caterpillar that was following them" Deandra smiled mockingly at Edric's ex-lover.
"Babe, because of one mistake I made you forget all the memories that have happened between us." Said Alice softly, who made Edric's steps stop.
Because Edric stopped, Deandra automatically stopped. "Currently, you're less steeped in your acting!"
"I'm sorry, I beg you to forgive me. I'm sure you still love me." Alice did not comment on Deandra's words, because her goal was only one. Get Edric's heart back.
"Ed," Alice rested at Edric's feet as the man did not respond.
Edric's heart that had hardened because it was disappointed the woman he once loved was shaking when he saw Alice to rest at his feet. The man who put on a flat face removed Deandra's embrace from her hand.
"Wake up, I don't like you like this." Edric reached out to help Alice wake up. They're still in the basement. He did not want to spread the news that there was a woman who reached her feet just to apologize.
Deandra who saw how Edric was devastated because of Alice's words her heart suddenly ached. Where is the word "I love you" that the man had said, if only he still cared about his former lover.
"You're gonna forgive me?" Alice looked up, welcoming Edric's hand with a hidden smile.
Edric did not reply, helping Alice stand up. While Deandra held back her emotions that burst in the heart. If he evaporated it would be in vain, Edric would have preferred to defend the woman again.
Without Edric realizing Deandra was stepping back, stepping foot away from the two men. The fact that Edric still loves the masses makes Deandra's little heart flinch.
"Now you're content to make my women jealous!!" Edric said coldly, letting go of Alice's embrace violently. He didn't know that Deandra was angry with him.
"I don't mean to make him jealous. I'm sincerely sorry and miss you so much" Alice said with teary eyes.
"You think I believe you," Edric wanted to play around with this woman for a while. To make his heartache avenged.
"Babe, what do I have to do for you to forgive me." Alice said softly as she realized one thing, the man was not her old Edric. Edric adored him a lot. And do anything for him.
"Do you think your affair with Jovie could be forgiven? Just to fulfill that lust of yours you slept with my best friend. And because of your obsession, too, you wanted to make Jovie fuck my sister. Where's your humanity, Alice!!"
"And the one thing you might forget, you've wanted to hurt my woman so many times. Do you think that's just one mistake?" Edric asked with great emphasis.
"I may love you, but that was it. Before I know the nature of the devil in you!" Edric continued to stir, holding his hand so as not to strangle Alice's neck.
Alice froze at Edric's long speech. Her tears fell when she heard the spicy words of the man she loved. He did not expect the man who adored him so much was able to say rude to him.
"Did you ever think about my feelings Edric. You left me to marry another woman. When I ask you to be completely mine you refuse. But you're happy to touch that woman." Alice smiled bitterly, "yes I was wrong. Everything that happened was my fault. All this time only Jovie understood my feelings and was always there when I needed you. But you're not there for me. He even wants to replace you when I'm lonely."
The woman wiped her tears violently. He turned his back on leaving Edric silent after expressing his pent-up feelings. Jovie was right, shouldn't she still expect Edric who already has a wife.
Edric sighed harshly as he watched the woman he loved most move away carrying his tears. Is it true that he was wrong, he was the one who actually hurt Alice first before the woman had an affair with Jovie.
