“Edric!! What did you do to Brother Jo?” Shouted Ellea screeching held her anger towards the room of the brother. He almost cried when he received news that Jovie entered the ICU room because of Edric's beating.
“Stop your noisy voice it's ELLEA HANSEL!!” Edric put the plate in his hand on the nightstand before he slammed.
Deandra who was still chewing did not understand what her sister was worried about. He could observe Edric's stiffening face change.
"You're the bad Edric! You're evil to hurt Brother Jo!!" Shouted Ellea rampaging in front of Edric with tears that had already seeped. His hand smacked the chest of the man's field limply. It didn't matter that Edric would get even more angry at him.
"That's what he deserves for daring to play you!!" Edric caught Ellea's hand and hugged her. "Don't cry" he said, wiping away tears that continued to seep on Ellea's cheeks.
"You can kill him Edric, you're doing this because of me or because of Alice!!" Ellea challenged the furious lightning in Edric's eyes as she mentioned Alice's name.
Edric clasped his hands firmly until his knuckles paled. He didn't like the name greeting his sense of hearing.
Deandra held her breath when she heard Ellea's words. Edric nearly killed his own best friend because of the woman. He just wanted to start mending the relationship between them. But the reality doesn't change, Edric loves Alice very much. And that love cannot be replaced by it.
"Is there any other reason if it wasn't for you? If it was just the caterpillar, I would have taken out your dear brother Jo for a long time." Edric suppresses his emotions and convinces Ellea that everything he does is for the girl.
Her eagle eyes glanced at Deandra who changed expression. Women really like to conclude for themselves what their ears hear. It must be that his wife had the same thoughts as Ellea's brain.
Edric inhaled roughly pulling Ellea to sit on the side of the bed. Covered cheeks that are still wet with tears.
"Look!! I do love Alice but this love of mine doesn't make me stupid by keeping a woman who is clearly betrayed behind my back. Use your brain to think not to follow your feelings. The brother Jo you love so much has betrayed your brother. Is your love for your brother Jo greater than your love for me, until you continue to defend him?"
Ellea fell silent at Edric's long speech. Her brother knew that if she loved Jovie, she felt so predictable. If asked the size of his love, of course, the two men have their own place that he cannot compare.
Just like Ellea, Deandra also froze. His heart grew smaller when he heard Edric's confession. A glimmer of hope from the affectionate call that Edric said while in the car had now dimmed. He was still a nobody to Edric. Though Deandra has chosen the man who is her husband today rather than the person she loves.
"Why are you silent, do you really only love your sister Jo?" Sindir Edric with a feeling of pain in the heart. Jovie's shadow of making love to Alice makes her sick.
Ellea shook her head slowly slid into Edric's arms. "I love you as my sister. But I also love Brother Jo as a man," he slowly admitted. This was the first time Ellea had confessed her feelings to someone else.
Edric rubbed Ellea's long hair and gently dyed the top of her head.
Deandra took a sip of saliva looking at Edric who was so attentive to Ellea. What Edric was also so when he was with Alice, was very different when he was with her. The man was always angry, just now he had to beg for Edric to bribe him.
