Chapter 40
The entire Arbeto family, who had arrived at Agam and Cindy's wedding venue, immediately entered the spacious and luxurious ballroom. They blend in with other large families while chatting lightly.
"Why hasn't the show started yet?" luna asks Mini's wife David Mateo, as she thinks they will be late to witness Agam and Cindy's wedding.
"We're waiting for the bride and groom." Answer Mini.
"Waiting for the two brides? Where are they going?" Luna had only realized that since she had not seen the existence of Agam and Cindy, she was also a little confused why the two brides were not in the ballroom, but she was still there, all the family and guests present were already in the room.
"So A took Cindy out, he said there's something important to talk about with his future wife." Mini smiled as she recalled how her son's normally flat face was without any expression, looking nervous and misbehaving.
"Oh..." Luna nodded her head.
"Lun where's Baby? Why don't I see it?" Mini looked to the side and back, looking for the figure of a jolly girl who had always stuck to Agam since the girl was a child.
"Baby's sick, so he's most likely gonna be late."
"ill? Baby sick what?" tanya Mini with an anxious look on her face.
"Hurt the heart."
"Hurt heart?" mini with a confused face.
"It hurts because your son is getting married." Whisperer Luna.
"Geez, my little girl loves your son."Obviously Luna was worried because her best friend did not also understand what she meant.
"What's? Baby loves A?" The surprised Mini shut her mouth with both hands.
"Yes, but unfortunately your son doesn't love my daughter." Luna said with a sad face, because for the first time her beloved daughter could not get what she wanted. And she as a mother felt like a failure because she could not realize what became Baby's happiness.
"But Luna why didn't you tell me?"
"What did I say it for? Didn't I tell you your son doesn't love my daughter."
"But at least if I knew, I could ask A to love Baby. You know she loves me so much and wants to do whatever I want, including getting married to Cindy." Mini is disappointed in Luna for not telling her how Baby feels.
"It's too late, and they're cousins, and Dafa and David don't respect their relationship."
Mini is speechless because she agrees with Luna's words, that Baby and Agam are cousins and it is likely that Dafa and David will not approve of their relationship.
"When did you know Baby loved A?" ask Mini curiously.
"Actually it's been a long time, I think Baby was interested in A just to the extent of a daughter's admiration for her older brother. But the more I get here I see interest in A turning into interest in the opposite sex." Clearly Luna was at length, and her assumption that Baby loved Agam was revealed as she deliberately read her daughter's diary. There is clearly written all Baby's feelings for Agam who has long been harbored by his girl.
"Luna I'm really very sorry," Mini felt bad because Baby's grief was caused by her love for Agam.
