Chapter Thirty Nine. CTK.

Papa calls Adit to the company. There is something that both of them want to talk about with their children. Papa deliberately invites Adit to meet to talk to four eyes without my mother knowing.

Adit entered Papa's workspace with a lazy step. He knew, if Papa asked to speak with four eyes there must be something important to be conveyed and you should not know.

"Good day, Pa," Adit said as soon as he walked into the study.

"Good afternoon, sit down first. Papa finish this little bit of work."

"Do you need Papa to call me? Why don't we just talk at home?" ask Adit while sitting on the sofa.

"Papa deliberately calls you to speak four eyes. So that your mother doesn't know."

"Live it, Pa. I don't have much time" Adit said.

Hearing Adit's words, Papa stood up from his chair and approached Adit.

"What is your job so you don't have much time?" ask Papa in a high voice.

"I need to be with my friend!"

"What your friend is more important than me, your father. I'm just asking you for a minute. It's also for your good name!"

"What am I?"

"Don't pretend to ask. You know what your mistake was!" yelled papa again.

Adit looked at his papa with slightly bulging eyes.

"Can't Papa speak slowly? My ears are normal."

"Your ears are normal but not with your mind. Why would you ruin a girl's life! This is what I taught you!" yell Papa again.

"I don't understand what Papa means?"

"Why are you harassing Diandra? What harm? Where's your mind when you do that."

"So Papa is now also accusing me!" adit said in a slightly high voice.

"I'm not accusing, but it's reality. I told you the truth."

"What's the evidence if I did all that?" ask Adit. He stood up from his seat.

"That's proof! Francis and the pendant with your name. This evidence is around the scene. Lucky it wasn't the authorities who found it. What else if Galen found. You're so outrageous, why would you do such a shameful thing."

"Why? It could be Galen who put the evidence on the scene so I could suspect the perpetrator. I don't think this conversation is any good. I said ", said Adit. Stand up from his seat.

"Papa's not done talking."

"What else do you want to talk about?" ask Adit.

"Papa's got a lot of evidence that you're the one who harassed Diandra. So don't dodge it anymore."

"If you have a lot of evidence, why ask again. I was the culprit. Papa want what?"

Papa's hand immediately raised and slapped Adit's cheek quite hard. Adit touched his hot cheek. From the corner of his lips came fresh blood.

"What exactly do you want? Why are you harassing Diandra?"

"I want to repay my heartache to Galen for causing Tasya's death!" yell Adit.

"Are you crazy, Adit? Tasya died in an accident, why did you return your heartache to Galen?"

"I heard and saw for myself when Tasya cried because Galen refused his love. Surely Tasya deliberately bumped into himself for being sad over his love rejection."

"If Tasya is committing suicide, it's not Galen's fault either. Why think so narrowly, when love is rejected, immediately commit suicide? Does Galen have to accept the love of all the women he likes? Think Adit. Your grudge against Galen misaddressed. Be aware!" said Papa.

"I don't want to hear Papa anymore. Now what do you want? Want to report me to the authorities? Please!"

Adit stepped out of his Papa's study. Adit pretended not to hear Papa's ketiks calling his name.

Papa drowned and sat on the sofa. Never did he expect, his son would do such an act.

What am I going to tell Mama? Not lost his sadness because Galen left behind and had to hear this bitter reality. I better hide all this first.

Papa's back at his desk. Papa is still hesitant to tell the truth about Adit's behavior that harassed Diandra on Mama.

Since Galen's departure, Mama has often been moody and ill. If you know Adit perpetrators of abuse against Diandra surely Mama will increase in shock.
