"Rubber, mistress" the man replied confirming, whereas Rio just silently looked at the old woman before him. He began to remember when his mother had brought him to meet the woman.
In a restaurant her mother pleaded on her knees, her tears were not even stopping.
"Please take her with you mother, she is also your flesh and blood."
At that time Rio did not understand what his mother said, because he was only six years old, but he still remembered everything he heard.
"care for your own son, how can you give it to me?"
"If the reason is because of the economy, I'll send it every month through my confidants." The woman said expressionlessly.
"But on condition that, for the rest of your life, you have to keep it a secret from everyone and from him about who his father is. I don't want people to remember my dead son as an unfaithful husband."
Continue the woman again while looking at Rio who was standing beside his mother, without giving the mother rio a chance to talk.
"Well, if his face doesn't look like my son's. It'll be easier not to admit it." The woman muttered with a sigh, then she took out a white envelope from her bag, and placed it on the table and left.
Leaving Rio and his mother who was still crying, now Rio knew who that woman was, she was his grandmother.
Rio was so washed away in his memories that he did not realize that his stepmother had been watching him. Long enough the woman stood in the doorway and finally decided to approach Rio who was sitting in the garden.
"You still here?" The woman's question shocked Rio.
Rio gasped and immediately turned his head towards the origin of the voice.
"Yes" Rio replied briefly as he looked at his stepmother's face.
"What time is it?" asked the woman back with a flat face expression.
"Come in and eat this past dinner, even if you don't have a history of gastric disease but you have to keep your stomach." The woman said as she walked back into the house.
Rio obeyed the words of his stepmother and went inside.
This morning Rio was going to go see Rini, he had been thinking about it since last night. Because she can't resist her grandmother's wishes so she plans to use Rini.
He thought that if Rini refused his grandmother's request then it was certain, Rio did not need to carry out his grandmother's orders to marry Rini.
Rio entered a cafe, he had already made an appointment with Rini to meet here. Rio floated his gaze over the entire cafe area, trying to find Rini's whereabouts and he found her.
Rini was sitting in the corner by the window, unaware of Rio's arrival because her eyes were looking out the window. There was a smile on her lips as Rio greeted her.
"Have you been waiting for me for a long time?" Rio asked as he sat in front of her.
Rini did not reply, she simply shook her head with a smile. What Rio said three years ago was true, she would look very very very beautiful with a slight smile on her lips.
"Did you come alone?" Rio asked after sitting down.
"I don't see any Andi here?" Ask again, because usually Andi always follows where Rini goes.
"Yes I came alone" Rini replied as she drank the juice before her, her facial expression looked calm without any burden, Rio knew that expression well.
"You broke up?!" Guess Rio with a smile of disbelief.
"Hmm" Rini replied confirming Rio's shot lazily.
