Although the soul mate has been determined, but on the way to meet him needed effort. One of the efforts that we can do is to choose a prospective partner according to the guidance of the Prophet. “Women are usually married for four things: because of her property, because of her position, because of her face and because of her religion. So you must choose a good woman of her religion (his Islam). If not, then you will lose. (HR.Bukhari and Muslim).

“If you come to you a man whom you have a passion for religion and his religion, then marry him. If not, then there will be slander on the face of the earth and great damage”. (S.Tirmidhi).

Allah SWT said :

"And among HIS power is that He created for you wives of your own kind, so that you may tend and feel at ease with him, and made HIM among you of love and affection. Verily in this are signs for the people who think."(QS.Ar-Ruum:21)

Based on the verse, It has become a circumcision that Allah created all HIS creatures in pairs and all humans must have a soul mate, depending on the efforts of the man himself or the destiny of God.

Because every destiny is absolute (already a provision of God), we humans can only accept it and one more is the destiny of endeavor, which is destiny that can indeed be obtained by means of endeavor or earnest effort, which in this case is through Ihtiar Prayer (Misal Sholat Hajad).

Allah has promised in HIS word:

"A vile man is for vile women and vile women are for vile men (after all) , good men are for good women and good women are for good men (after all).'' (QS.An New:26).

"Nobody can deny destiny (the decree of God) except prayer and nothing can add age except to do good." (SR Tirmidhi, HR. Ibn Majah

Allah Ta'ala strengthens his provision in HIS word:

"God abolishes what He wills and establishes (what He wills), and by His side is the Book of the Ummul (Lawah Mahfuzh)." (QS. Ar Ra'd: 39).
