Love Story of Alex And Desi

Love Story of Alex And Desi
Returnees

Desi stood in the middle of a long bridge made of wood. He looked on both sides of the bridge, but he could not see the end of the bridge. He looked under the bridge, but he could not see what was under the bridge. He only saw white fog around and under the bridge. "Where am I..." Ask yourself. It caresses his stomach. Things she often does during pregnancy. But at this time he was shocked when his stomach was flattened. "My son..." Confusion returned when he felt no movement in his stomach. "Where's my son..." Ask again. He was confused which side he would walk to. He doesn't even know where he is at the moment. But he saw a light from his left side. He was silent for a moment. But without thinking for a long time he finally walked to the left side of the bridge. Looking for what he was looking for. She doesn't want to lose her baby right now. But for a moment his footsteps stopped when his right hand was being pulled by someone. Slowly Desi turned her body. He saw a man. The man he loved so much. The father of the baby he conceived. "Alexes..."

Alex smiled meaningfully as he walked closer to Desi. "Where are you going?"

"I... Alex... Our baby..." Exhausting his flat stomach. "Where's our baby?" Already crying.

"Our baby is there" Alex said, pointing to Desi's right. "Back to me. Then you can definitely meet our baby."

"But..." Desi hung up her sentence. "There..." His index finger was pointing towards the left. "So I..." He turned his body back as he was about to explain what he saw. But somehow he no longer saw Alex on his right side. "Alexes..." His shouting. "Alexes..." He shouted again in a loud voice. Confusion strikes her again as she loses the man she loves so much. Spreading his eyes across the bridge, but he couldn't find Alex. He could only cry when he lost his way. But somehow she remembered what Alex said last time when she had to walk to the right to meet the baby and her husband. It seems like a very difficult choice. On his left side was a beam of light waiting for him while on the right side he saw nothing there. There was only a white mist covering the road. Now the decision is in his hands. He doesn't want it if he goes the wrong way.

Alex was still standing holding his lifeless wife on the operating table. Wept over how useless she was as a husband. He can't even take good care of his wife. "Wakeup... I beg..." He said softly while not stopping pinning his fingers between his wife's fingers.

All the doctors and nurses who were still in the operating room fell silent while bowing their heads. There are also those who cry. They have tried well but it seems like fate says something else. Now their job is done. At least they can save one of the patients.

Alex's head was still on his wife's chest. Her tears did not stop falling. His chest became increasingly tight as he had to accept the sudden departure of his wife. But for a moment he gasped when there was movement in the fingers of the wife. He lifted his head and saw his fingers still tucked in between the fingers of the wife. Trying to stop crying and look carefully at the movement of one by one hand Desi. His eyes were perfectly rounded when he saw life in his wife. "Darling..." His eyes were fixed on Desi's face. He could also see the breath returning to his wife. "Doctor..." Call Alex whose heart is pounding faster as his wife breathes back.

The doctors and nurses who were still in the operating room immediately approached the operating table. Surely the signs of life are already in Desi. The Electrocardiograph (ECG) screen is back on track, indicating that the Desi heart is working again. Two nurses are back checking Desi's vitals. Slowly but surely, all the vital tools Desi back running as usual. Busyness occurs in the operating room when the patient who had died is now back exhaling back to this world.

Alex felt his hand held tightly by his wife. "Darling..." He said softly while not taking his eyes off Desi's face. He still faithfully stood next to the wife's bangkar even though the doctors seemed busy observing the development of his wife. "Darling..." He said again softly while seeing there was movement in both eyelids of the wife. "Darling..." He rubbed his wife's head. He wanted Desi to know that he did not leave her even under any circumstances. He saw a smile on his lips when Desi was looking at him. "Darling... Praise be to Allah... Thanksmeme it... Darling..." He unceasingly thanked God for the grace given to him and his wife. Then he kissed his wife. "Darling..." Said again. Now they are meeting.

While the doctors and some nurses look to have retreated several steps when they have checked the condition of Desi which is currently stable.

Desi opened her mouth. Wanna say something.

"What's wrong? You want anything?" Ask Alex who seems to know that the wife will say something. He was ceaselessly stroking the head of his wife.

"My baby..." He said he stammered while stroking his flat stomach. I don't know what he's thinking right now. But as he remembered, he had just made a very long journey. He chose the path designated by Alex rather than the one with the beam of light. He believes Alex will never lie. And now she's questioning where her baby is.

A female nurse pushed the incubator into the operating room. Approach the incubator next to Desi's bangkar. While Alex and Desi were staring at the baby while shedding tears.

"Congratulations Alex, Miss Desi your baby is a girl" said doctor Elena who is currently standing next to the incubator. "Your baby was born prematurely. Because she was twenty-nine weeks old in the womb so we the hospital put her in an incubator" explained Dr. Elena.

"But what about his condition?" Desi asked who was holding the glass incubator.

"Thank God your baby is in good condition. But because your baby is indeed born prematurely so your baby must be in the NICU room or neonatal intensive care unit which is a special place to care for newborns who need close supervision by energy medically," explains Elena's doctor again.

"Will he be okay?" Alex asked without taking his eyes off his daughter.

"of course. We'll take good care of him."

Weeping should be seen on Alex and Desi's faces. They are so grateful that their baby is okay. There seems to be nothing to worry about at this time.

Thank you God...

You entrusted Desi to me again.

I promise to take care of my wife and daughter as long as I'm alive.

Alex's mind was looking at Desi's face, still lying on the operating table. Staring alternately between the wife and the baby.
