CHAPTER 24 THE SAME FATE

After Grandpa's funeral was over, all of them who were the core members of the Gunawan extended family finally returned home.

Dinda was always on the side of Windi, making Rangga who saw the closeness between the two women become increasingly fed up because of the behavior of the two.

Rangga's eyes always follow where Dinda moves. Until finally Rangga stopped his gaze on Dinda, as he recalled the letter that Mommy Windi had given. The last letter my grandfather wanted to give to him.

Rangga's hand began to go into his pants pocket to pick up a letter from Grandpa. Slowly, Rangga opened the letter.

Rangga...

When this letter is on you, maybe then Grandpa is gone in this world.

Forgive Grandfather who can no longer accompany you. But trust me Grandpa is always there for you.

Marry Dinda, that's Grandpa's wish.

Grandpa was hoping you'd grant Grandpa's wish one last time.

Grandpa please. Marry Dinda.

It turns out that Rangga's allegations are right, the contents of Grandpa's letter are not far from discussing about his wishes that he wants to get married soon.

But what Rangga thought at that time turned out to be true. Dinda who Grandpa meant at that time was Dinda his classmate, who was none other than Kemanakan Aunty Indah. The woman who had destroyed her parents' household.

"What did my grandfather say in the letter?" Windi asked who was now sitting on the sofa right in front of Rangga. Because indeed they were in the guest room after one by one the mourners began to leave Grandpa's luxurious house.

Rangga threw a letter from Grandpa right in front of Windi.

Windi clenched his lips while closing his eyes, inexhaustible with the behavior of Rangga who could not respect him in the slightest.

Dinda picked up the letter on the floor and gave it to Windi.

Dinda gave the letter to Windi, her heart also felt the sadness that Windi felt.

Dinda began to think why Rangga's nature like that, but Dinda was sure there must be something going on between Windi and also Rangga, so Rangga behaved like that.

"Thank you son" Windi said and received a letter in Dinda's hand.

Rangga's face was bent because he was surprised by his Mommy's attitude that became soft to Dinda. It was very different when Mommy was talking to other people.

Windi just smiled reading the letter from Grandpa. Making Rangga start to fret with her Mommy smile that seems to have other intentions.

"Why smile? You're happy, Grandpa isn't there now. So you can master Grandpa's entire wealth" Windi stared intently at Rangga who was sitting leaning on the sofa while crossing his arms in front of his chest.

Windi almost had a heart attack because of the harsh words of Rangga. While Dinda was just silently stunned because only this time she heard a sentence along it came out of Rangga's mouth.

"Why are you always like this same Mommy son" Reply Windi so gently with a sad look towards Rangga. But Rangga just laughed a little hearing the words of his Mommy.

"Mommy was wrong with you? Didn't Mommy always obey all your wishes. Can't you just be a little nice with Mommy. Mommy loves you Rangga" he said again. Now Windi's eyes began to get wet because the tears that escaped just like that on both cheeks.

"can't. I will never be nice to you, because you are no different from j****g out there" Maki Rangga pointed at Windi who was sobbing. His breath hunts because of the emotions that finally managed to come out, after a few years he was patient and did not care about the depraved behavior of his Mommy.

"Stop Rangga, don't be like this. Kasian Mommy" said Dinda and sat next to Windi.

"Cih" Rangga screeched to hear Dinda defending her mother.

"Mommy's new maintenance?" Tanya Rangga cynically.

"Enough Rangga, don't insult Dinda. He's a good boy. And soon you will be married" Windi replied.

"Married? indeed you who forced me to marry your pet" Reply Rangga did not want to lose.

"You're still getting married, because before Grandpa died he told me to marry you to him. And Grandpa's decision is final can't be contested anymore"

The atmosphere is getting gripping because Rangga who continues to refuse. Fortunately, all the guests who came to visit have gone home. So they do not need to watch the debate between Rangga and Windi.

"What's this?" Surya asked who saw the strange waves of his son and his wife.

"Father wants if Rangga married Dinda" replied Windi hesitated.he was afraid if Surya would be angry with him.

"The people don't want Pi. Lagian Grandpa has also died so Rangga does not need to obey Grandpa's silly wishes right" replied Rangga.

"Rangga" Shouted Windi and Surya together. Because he doesn't like what his son says.

"I don't want to get married" Rangga said. He remained stupefied at his decision not to marry Dinda.

"You must get married" said Surya who managed to make Rangga surprised because his Papi who did not support his decision.

"But Pi.." refutes Rangga quickly.

"Nothing but a tapi. You have to marry Dinda" Rangga sighed harshly hearing her Papi who is also now forcing herself to marry.

"Why did Papi support Grandpa and Mommy?" Ask Rangga. He did not accept the decision of everyone who wanted him to get married.

"Here you go, son, just follow your grandfather's wishes. Papi just wants to run a will from Grandpa who wants you to get married" said Surya explained the intent of him who only wants to run the last will of his Papah.

"Even if you have to sacrifice the happiness of your own son?" Ask Rangga again.

Surya is only silent a thousand languages because it cannot answer questions from Rangga.

Dinda only heard the debate of the two people. Although occasionally Dinda only glance at the face of Rangga or Surya alternately.

Because he didn't get an answer from his Papa. Rangga decided to leave because he was so upset that no one supported his decision.

"Where are you going Rangga?" Asked Surya who saw Rangga rise from his seat, but Rangga seemed to no longer want to serve his Papi question and passed it by.

"Rangga" Call Surya but Rangga did not care about the call from him and continued to walk away with a sense of disappointment that filled his heart.

After Rangga's departure, Surya now focused his gaze on Dinda who sat down while bowing her face and linking her fingers.

"You're Dinda, right?" Surya asked Dinda who was sitting next to his wife. But the one who was asked was silent, not answering the question of the person who was asking him.

Dinda's face has always looked down, because her eyes began to glaze over Rangga who insulted her.

Dinda did not expect that the Rangga he saw was quiet, stiff, and did not talk much, turned out to be a very rude person. Even Dinda herself heard that Rangga said that her mother was a j***g.

"Dinda" Windi said softly as she touched Dinda's shoulder that did not respond to questions from her husband.

Dinda regained consciousness from her daydream after getting a touch from Windi. Dinda looked at Windi's smiling face towards her.

"Rangga's words should not be put into the heart. He was actually a good boy" Windi began to comfort Dinda who was still silent.

"Yes right, Rangga is like that because of his Mommy so do not take heart. Since all of this was the woman's fault" Surya began to corner Windi. Surya was very furious if he remembered the betrayal that his wife did.

"You don't start again. I no longer have the desire to argue with you" Reply Windi while throwing his face away.

"You think I'd also like to talk to a cheating woman like you. Remember yes we survive only because of Rangga, if not because he has been a long time ago I will throw you into the trash" Surya replied no less fierce.

Surya then restored his hair and left the two women who were hit by the same feeling because they were both hurt.

Dinda was hurt because of the words of Rangga, while Windi was hurt because her husband hated her so much that he always said harshly.

Even Surya had said that he would not look at his face anymore.

"Our fate is the same, equally undesirable" said Dinda and replied with a knotty smile on Windi's lips. And justify what that innocent girl said. But Windi felt a little lucky to still have Dinda by his side.

Due to the presence of the innocent girl, it could at least reduce the loneliness as well as the sadness of Windi, because Rangga who no longer cared about him.
