CHAPTER 1 ON A GRIPPING NIGHT

That time on a gripping night when the rain that fell to the earth was so swift, making the whole house afraid if suddenly strong winds will blow the roof of the house. The atmosphere of the house is very dark because there is only lighting from a lamp that is widely used by people in the past, the, when we wake up the nostrils will be black because the black smoke coming out of the lamp will be inhaled into the nose.

That night there was also the cry of a girl who sounded so bitter, but the sound of rain falling beat the sound of her crying.

Suddenly a middle-aged woman with a very striking makeup, entered the room of the girl who was crying as she pleased, while hugging her legs.

"I told you, you don't get too familiar with Old Grandpa, Auntie doesn't like it" he shouted as he grabbed the girl's hair. Makes him grimace in pain.

"I'm sick" replied the girl, holding her hair, which the woman kept pulling.

"Oh, my goodness, beware that you are still close to the Old Grandpa, I will not hesitate to drive you from here. Let all of you be vagabonds" said the middle-aged woman in a thunderous voice, along with the sound of bolting lightning. Then throw the body of the poor girl on the wall and fall into the floor, make her forehead hit but thankfully did not cause serious injuries.

"Wake up" said the middle-aged woman telling the poor girl to wake up immediately. But because his body still felt pain from hitting the wall, making the girl very difficult to get back up. As a result due to her sluggish movements, it made the middle-aged woman want to torture her again.

"Here you are" he said again, drawing the girl's hand.

"I'm sorry" replied the girl begging for mercy.

Plaque, Plaque, Plaque...

With all his might, the middle-aged woman then slapped her face and beat the girl blindly due to her regretful horn.

Sometimes the girl is seen grimacing withstanding pain in the face even now in her body. But he tried to hold it, he actually wanted to fight but what is the power of his tiny body is not able to withstand the attack of the woman.

After being satisfied to give a lesson to the girl, the middle-aged woman then came out leaving the body of the poor girl who was now lying on the floor while crying.

When she was tired, she finally fell asleep. Although occasionally still heard a bit of a noise by the girl because she let out her tears for too long.

Dear diary

Being poor is not a bad choice for me. Poverty taught me how one should be more patient and more active.

Lazy? Yes, sometimes I also feel one trait that maybe everyone must have felt.

No, I can't keep lazing around, if I'm lazy, when I'm going to be a good financial person.

Time is money, I have to prove to the world that a miserable person like myself can achieve anything as long as there is a will.

Vimattt...

The 1000% dream came true.

🌷🌷🌷

Dinda

As usual, Dinda wakes up early.

The first thing he did was to write down what he thought was important in the diary that he had always considered to be his best friend.

Anything Dinda would tell me in that diary book. Because Dinda feels a friend who will never tell about himself to others is his diary book.

After keeping the diary in the closet, as usual Dinda will rush to the kitchen, preparing food for Aunt and Cousin.

It's getting used to Dinda having to get up early and

doing all the homework, after that he will go to school.

Breakfast has been presented neatly on the reot dining table, notah since when the table was there, as Dinda recalled the table had been there since she was a child, he said, but it seems that all the furniture in the Tantenya house is very weathered and old, the style and model is very outdated.

After preparing breakfast, Dinda rushed to the bathroom, then got ready for school.

The uniform of pride that almost every day Dinda wears is now getting worn out because it has never been replaced, but Dinda is not discouraged, it is not a barrier for Dinda. Is not he going to school to study, so that someday he can realize a 1000% dream that he thinks is very difficult to achieve.

Dinda stepped out of the room towards the dining table to have breakfast with Aunt Indah and Siska. But when he arrived at the dining table, it was seen that all the food that had been cooked Dinda had been spent by aunt Indah and also Siska.

Dinda was surprised to see 2 people who had a fairly small body, but were able to spend on food that Dinda said was quite a lot.

The rumbling sound of Dinda's stomach, made Auntie Indah and Siska turn towards her with a cynical look.

"Today you can't get breakfast rations, your cooking today is not good" said Aunt Indah while playing her beautiful long nails that are every day polished with colorful cuttings.

"It's not good why the food is running out, not even at all" said Dinda in her heart. I was amazed at what Tante said.

Dinda sometimes wondered why a maid like beautiful auntie could take care of her nails. Though every day Dinda saw if her Tantenya employer is a person who is a little tempramental, besides that Aunt Beautiful also does a pretty heavy job at home her employer. The style and manner of dressing Aunty Indah also does not reflect if she is a maid.

"Why stay still, quickly clean these dishes, after that you can go to school" said Beautiful aunt with her bow.

While Siska just smiled cynically looking at Dinda's helpless face.

Unfortunately the fate of orphans like Dinda, after being left dead by his mother, his father who wander to complain of fate in order to change life never once there is news. Now Dinda is alone fighting to survive.

With a gontai step, Dinda stepped and then lifted one by one plate which is now a toilet without rest.

Sometimes Dinda grimaces because of the pain in the hull that asks to be filled immediately because since last night he did not eat.

Dinda held her stomach which now began to feel sore, then stepped back to bring the dirty dishes.

Not lost his mind, Dinda then took the glass that was on the plate and drank as much water to reduce his hunger.

Dinda's stomach feels full of water, but at least it can reduce the pain of her stomach a little. Although now Dinda feels like he started bloating because he drank too much water.

Dinda then rushed to school every day using public transport. With a spirited move Dinda started her day hoping that today could be better than the day before. Hope the miracle will come, even if you don't know when it will come.

Dinda continued to move until the exact place on the road, there was already a student wearing the same uniform as Dinda was waiting for him.

With a smile, Dinda approached her best friend.

"Good morning Juna" said Dinda greeting Juna who was sitting on the sidewalk of the road waiting for public transportation to take them to school.

"Morning is also my Heart" Juna replied with a forced smile on his face. Makes Dinda laugh at the face of her best friend.

Arjuna Dirgantara, Dinda's best friend since they were in elementary school. The name Arjuna itself is inspired by the name of the colossal Indian film player Mahabarata, Arjuna who has a very handsome face. Juna's mother gave the name because while pregnant she idolized him. Perhaps that was also why Juna's face became so handsome.

Parents used to say, if we want the face of our children handsome and beautiful, we must think and pray for the child in the stomach of his mother like the person we idolize. So that if the child is born his face will be like the person we always think of.

However, Dinda feels not understood by the thoughts of parents first. Dinda thought, if the factors a person can have a handsome face and beautiful it is all because of the genes of both parents. Kalopun both parents have faces that are not handsome or not beautiful, but his son was born even inversely proportional to the face of both parents, maybe it was a factor of luck, noah, lah, dinda in her heart.
