CHAPTER 20 BREAKS ARJUNA'S HEART

The bells came home and finally sounded. Juna who had been holding back stomach pain because he could not bear to urinate immediately.

"Huhhff, yes we're home" Juna starts to help Dinda stand up again.

"But why don't you go with me today again, is there a problem with your aunt?" Juna looked at Dinda's confused face.

Juna then held onto Dinda's shoulder. "Tell me, I'm your best friend, I'll always be there for you" Juna said solemnly. But they did not realize someone was watching their movements from behind the door. The man rushed away because he did not want to disturb the two lovers who were in class.

"You sure want to listen to my story" asked Dinda again and was immediately replied with a nod of the head by Juna.

"I will be your loyal listener" Juna replied with a smile on Dinda.

"I'll marry Jun" Dinda said briefly but was met with laughter by Juna who thought that Dinda was just joking with him.

"Ka... Are you serious about Dinda?" Tanya Juna stuttered. Now I'm beginning to realize that what Dinda said wasn't a joke.

Dinda sighed softly "I'm serious Jun" Dinda replied with a serious face making Juna's heart break into pieces as the answer from Dinda made it out of her tiny lips.

Sick? That's what Juna feels now. Pain but no bleeding or injury. The pain he felt after knowing the reality if Dinda was not jokingly saying if he would get married soon.

"But why did you accept this marriage, you could have turned it down" Juna held Dinda's shoulder while shaking her tiny body.

"I can't Jun, I promised to grant Grandpa's request" Dinda replied as she let go of Juna's grip on her shoulder.

"Grandfather? You mean who?" Juna asked with a face that was bent because he was confused by Grandpa who Dinda meant.

"Grandpa Rangga Jun. I'm getting married to Rangga"

Like being struck by lightning in a hole. Juna was stunned, his throat seemed to be stuck by something that made it difficult to breathe, after knowing if the person who was going to marry Dinda was Rangga, who was none other than a new child in his class.

Now changed Juna's body which slowly began to fall down to the floor. He felt that his body no longer had any energy. His legs felt weak with his breathing becoming weaker.

"Aren't I the one always waiting for you. I've been with you all along. Why did the new kid manage to have you Dinda" Juna cried in Dinda's arms. Juna was like a child crying in his mother's arms.

Dinda cried because she could not bear to see Juna who was sad because he had to lose himself.

"I'm sorry Jun. Forgive me" said Dinda, who was answered with a headband by Juna.

"No Dinda don't say sorry. You can still cancel your marriage with Rangga" Please Juna while looking at Dinda's face who was crying along.

But honestly Dinda said in her heart if she did not love Juna at all. All this time they have always been together in school purely because of the feelings of friends. Dinda has absolutely no feelings for Juna even though Juna who always openly shows his feelings to Dinda. But it did not change Dinda's feelings for Juna.

"I beg Dinda, cancel your marriage. I can't if I have to lose you" Juna held Dinda's hand so tightly.

"Don't be like this Jun"

"Don't what do you mean, Dinda. Have you not felt my feelings all this time for you. Why do you even accept Rangga who is only a new person you know rather than me who has been with you for a long time. Why Dinda?" Juna said frustratedly while grabbing the rough hair.

Dinda just quietly does not know what to answer with the question Juna who looks so devastated after knowing if he will soon get married.

"You get married to me, I'll try to make you happy Dinda I promise" Juna said with a laugh making Dinda feel even more guilty.

But all this was not his wish. Honestly, this is not what Dinda expected. All this is out of his control. If she had to choose, Dinda would choose not to accept Grandpa's offer. But whatever the power, the promise has been spoken. Making Dinda has a responsibility to keep that promise even though honestly he also does not want this to happen.

"Maybe in the next life, I will accept you as my life partner. I promise" Dinda said as she removed the clear grains that wet Juna's cheeks.

Juna was silent with his blank look, completely indifferent to what Dinda said.

No more laughter or jokes that usually make them both laugh out loud.

"Take me Jun. And I will pray to God to send someone worthy of you" Dinda said with a smile.

Now Juna's cries began to stop, only his occasional sobs were heard because they shed too many tears.
