Right now it was a break, they were enjoying lunch in the company cafeteria. Windi was still staring fixedly at the letter Kinan had given him earlier. Sometimes he cursed because he was too upset by the choice given by Kevin for Kinan.
“Wah, I really did not end up thinking the same Mr. Kevin. Fill his brain what sih” grumbled Windi while stirring his drink.
"Eh but does not Mr Kevin already have a secretary huh Nan?" ask Windi
"Listen, the old secretary resigned" Kinan explained
"Yes, who can stand the same fierce attitude" grumbled Windi
"You used to worship Kevin sir. Kok is now even in a fierce katain anyway" Kinan said with a laugh
"hiii, it turned out to be as fierce as his father" Windi shuddered in horror.
"Hahahaha" Kinan laughed off.
"So what's your decision Nan" Windi asked after a while.
“I have decided my decision, I will accept the offer to be a secretary it” Kinan said after a glass of ice coffee was exhausted, his brain seemed to be able to think clearly thanks to the ice coffe.
“You are sure nan, like Kevin sir it just want to do you deh. Recently in the history of the world employees made mistakes but even rose to office as a reward” said Windi
“You take it easy Win, I'm sure Mr. Kevin is not the type of person who is so. He must have thought carefully before deciding something” Kinan said confidently.
“Yes already, whatever your decision I will support Nan, as long as it's the best you think” said Windi stroked Kinan's hand
Kinan smiled at Windi's words. He is grateful that despite living alone in this city, he still has Windi as a place to share grievances.
...*****...
Kinan walked in slowly approaching the door of Kevin's room. He had been called to come soon. After taking a deep breath, Kinan finally knocked on the door of the room.
Tok tok tok tok
“Masuk” sounds from inside.
Kinan entered but this time he no longer lowered his head. He looked boldly into Kevin's eyes.
“You have dared to raise your head” said Kevin, but there was no response from Kinan.
“So what's your answer?” ask Kevin straight to the point.
Kevin smiled and nodded his head. It seemed like he was satisfied to hear Kinan's reply.
“You're sure of your decision?” ask Kevin again
“I am sure sir, I will try to carry out the new tasks that you give” said Kinan.
“Good, I hope you can cope with all the tasks that will be heavier than your current position” said Kevin.
“Thank you pak” Kinan said while giving his best smile.
“Cih, maybe you can still smile now. Let's see if that smile can last after you officially become secretary later” said Kevin with a slanted smile, his words as if a warning sign of danger waiting for Kinan.
Kinan just kept quiet, he did not want to ask what the mean of the fierce boss' words was because it must have only come out an answer that made his brain hot.
“For the sake of mental and physical health should lock your mouth tightly nan, patient.” said Kinan in the heart.
“Can I go now pak” ask Kinan.
“Of course, why did you linger here” Kevin said flatly.
“Alright, I excuse pak” Kinan saying goodbye while bending over the body.
No reply from Kevin, Kinan finally turned around and immediately walked out of the room. When he reached the corridor Kinan turned to look at the door of Kevin's room which he thought was a sacred door.
“Basic ice man, use ngancam all. If it wasn't for mom I would have preferred that resignation letter, arghhh” Kinan stomped his legs irritated. Then he immediately got into the elevator to return to his room.
After arriving, Kinan headed straight for the dispenser to make a cold drink. Kinan wanted to refresh his brain that was about to explode because of Kevin.
“Eits, stop! You want to make some more coffee, Nan? No, don't you dare touch it today.” Said Windi instantly snatching the glass from Kinan's hand.
“Asaan sih Win, I just want to drink ice water doang kali” said Kinan sewot.
“Awas loh yes if you until you drink coffee again today. I will sue all coffee companies in Indonesia” said Windi glared.
“Sok really idih, lebay really” said Kinan laughed
“Kinan!” call someone behind them.
