The truth is

Titin pulled the hand of her daughter telling her to sit down.

"Let me explain."

"Why haven't you been so forthcoming about before? Why did you hide it? Now what about me?"

"Calm down, listen to what I want to tell you don't refute Mom's words first."

Titin tried to be gentle even though inwardly disappointed that her daughter dared to take the letter from her and without her permission first.

"You and Kevin are married because there's no blood relation?"

"I mean Mother how? the letter clearly states that Kevin is Royadi's son, which means he is my brother!"

"The truth isn't like that, baby. Listen to Mom's story first you can interrupt."

Kartika wiped her tears staring at Titin.

Titin took a deep breath and started telling stories.

"It all started with the mistakes I made, playing with Royadi.

Mom was attracted to him because of his gentle demeanor that your father left Mom and couldn't believe that the child I was carrying was her son."

Hearing the words from his mother, Kartika felt the sky collapse on him. I did not expect that the person who had been considered as his father was not his father.

His chest tight, Kartika screams shed a sense of disappointment to his mother who continues to hide the truth so that it is only revealed now.

How is he now going through his day knowing that he is not part of this family.

Kartika cried her curly hair back. Titin who saw Kartika like that grabbed her daughter into her arms back.

"I'm sorry, baby." 

Titin stroked her hair, wiping the tears that never stopped from the corner of her daughter's eyes.

His chest is now tight, wounded to see his daughter in shock to discover the truth about who he is.

It is fitting that his grandfather never accepted himself as he was not part of this family. Grandpa is not wrong I am the one who does not know myself want to get more attention than him when I am not his grandson. 

Tears continue to flow from the corner of Kartika eyes like a tributary that does not want to stop.

Kartika is devastated to learn that he is not the son of Royadi who is considered to be his father who is always proud of him. The loving and caring man was not his father. His world was shattered to the point of knowing that.

Kartika runs out of Dahlan's house. The woman was both sad and disappointed in her parents. Because he has hidden his status to this day. Had he known from childhood he might not feel this pain.

Titin who could not hold her son to go became furious. The woman immediately grabbed the phone handle then pressed some memorized numbers. Titin contacted Royadi who was still in the office, not yet time to go home.

After being connected Titin told the condition of Kartika who had known that she was not her child and the situation is now bad her daughter ran away from home somewhere. Titin could not prevent his daughter so he told Royadi to persuade her to return home.

Royadi who got the call and news of Kartika's departure felt shocked his heart became restless. The man did not expect that Kartika would find out about her status so soon.

Royadi hung up. Wlaupun Kartika is not his biological child, but he already loves him like his own child does not distinguish it from the sun which is his biological child.

For him the sun and Kartika are a part of him. He will take care of them as much as he can until his breath is gone.

Royadi called Kevin to ask for help in finding Kartika because he knew that the man would also be worried about Kartika.

After telling him what happened to Kartika, Kevin wants to come look for Kartika.

Royadi got to that place first. It was right when he got there the man saw Kartika sitting on a chair staring straight ahead.

Royadi approached Kartika sitting next to him.

Kartika who knew there was someone sitting next to her turned her head. Removing the tears that wet both cheeks. 

Kartika was shocked when she saw that the figure sitting by her side was Royadi who was considered to be her own father.

Kartika becomes awkward trying not to hug Royadi as he usually does if he is sad. The middle-aged man understood Kartika's awkwardness so that the pyia grabbed for Kartika, pulling her into his arms.

Getting treatment from what is considered a father. Kartika's tears broke her chest increasingly tight knowing the man sitting next to her was not her own father.

Royadi stroked Kartika's hair and then kissed her head.

Royadi let go of his embrace looking at his daughter's face, Royadi rubbed a clear circle that continued to flow from the corner of Kartika's eye.

"Kartika however you are still father's daughter. Do not be sad when you know his truth. I still think of you as part of my soul. It's the same as before you knew the truth.

Kartika's tears were getting louder, the woman could not help but cry. The man by her side had not changed at all. The love he gave her was still the same.

"Dad."

Only the words of the father spoken from the lips of Kartika who could not resist the crying. Kartika hugged Royadi again spilled tightness in his chest that felt there was still a squeeze.

Kevin watched from a distance. The man did not want to interrupt his second moment.

Kevin also just found out that Kartika is not part of the Dahlan family.

The next day Kartika tells Kevin that he is not the son of Royadi and appoints Kevin as his biological child.

Getting a decline from Kartika, Kevin does not believe where Royadi might be his father.

Kartika asks Kevin to recall Royadi's hospital stay and needs a transfusion, not only is his blood the right fit. That's not enough evidence. 

"And this."

Kartika took out a letter from her father and mother's room as suggested to her.

Kevin took the paper from Kartika's hand and read the contents.

Kevin was shocked to learn the contents of the letter, it was true that he had a mole on the back of the neck. But not many people who have a mole on the neck is not just himself.

Kevin does not want to believe still in his stance that he is not the son of Royadi.

The ring proves that he is his son. But Kevin still denied it, he thought it was impossible and absurd.

Although Kartika is not part of this family, the woman still wants to help kevin.

Kartika and Royadi take Kevin to meet his mother who is in the village. So that he believes that his mother is still alive and lives in a different place.

A place far from where he lived. But the two have not said anything about Humaira. 

When he arrives at a simple little hut Royadi stops his car and invites Kevin and Kartika to follow him down.
