Kartika returned to the kitchen, the servants serving her graciously.
"You're so pretty you look like an artist on television."
Hearing the words of one of Kartika's servants lowered his head in embarrassment.
"Please, drink while it's warm."
"Thank you."
Kartika took the glass that was thrust towards her. Grasping the glass with both hands. As if looking for warmth in the cold morning because outside is still in the rain.
Approaching the glass to his lips, gulped it down a few gulps. Feels warm in the esophagus.
"Wah-wah, this girl has already dared to come out and act as the hostess."
All eyes were on the voice that had just been thrown from someone's mouth across the door.
Apparently Salamah the owner of the house had been standing in the doorway watching his movements.
Kartika rose from her seat unable to bear Salamah's words that pierced her heart. Kartika thinks she's been accepted into this house. However, it turns out that his guess was wrong. He was still a stranger in this big house. Where Kevin was not seen. Usually the man will defend him if he is insulted or hurt by someone.
Kartika got up running towards her room, slamming her body on the bed.
It was done by covering his face with a pillow.
Yuli, Renata and Salamah are enjoying a cup of coffee and bread as a lunch snack.
"I'm gonna review a place, I'm gonna leave this house to you."
"Hem," said Yuli reluctantly chimed in.
"If there's anything to act like a hostess, if you can't call me right away."
"Just relax, trust me with this house. I'll take care of him for you."
"All right, I'm going."
After sipping his coffee Salamah passed leaving both mother and son still sitting in their respective places.
Meanwhile Kartika peeked out from behind the window looking for Kevin. However, it was not found either.
"Where is he, I'm really bored."
Kartika walked out of the room and walked towards the gate. Passing Yuli who is relaxing with Renata. However, when he saw Kartika, Renata immediately left his mother after receiving a call from someone.
"Sorry, you can't get out. That's the big madam's message."
Kartika remains stubbornly keen to get out. But the guards blocked it. Until Yuli who was relaxing was disturbed.
"Bring him in. Brackets back in his room."
The guards took Kartika violently, forcing Kartika back to her room.
"Why ...., why did you guys get in and out so freely but I had to be locked up?"
Kartika turned her head towards Yuli who was being forcefully carried by the guards
"That's because you're not part of this family understand," Yuli stepped closer to Kartika lifting her chin.
"Quick the lock back, don't let him loose."
The guards managed to put Kartika back into his room despite the difficulty because Kartika continued to rebel to escape.
Kartika annoyed to pull the curtains to escape from the hook. Pull the bed sheet until it is out of bed. Throw pillows until scattered below. His room is like a broken ship. Kartika sat on the floor covering her face to hide her cries.
While Jayah who could not bear to see the treatment of the guards against Kartika immediately called Kevin. Tell him if Kartika was running amok to get out. However, it was prevented by Yuli so that it made a rowdy.
Kevin who was on his way to the office turned back his car so that he returned home.
When he arrived at the door, Kevin forgot not to bring the key.
Yuli thrust the key towards Kevin with a cynical look. However, Kevin did not care about it directly taking the key from his in-laws hand. Then immediately opened the door of Kartika's room.
After the door opened Kevin hurriedly entered to find Kartika crying sobbing hugging both knees on the floor.
Kevin looked around the room uncharacteristically. Kevin turned his eyes to look at Kartika who was crying as she pleased. Kevin slowly walked over, crouching in front of the crying Kartika. The man grabbed Kartika's wrist. However, Kartika complained of pain pulling back her hand.
"Nuu ...."
"Who did this?"
Kartika did not answer his words. Kartika realized, he was the wrong one to get a wound on his hand. If he doesn't rebel, he'll be fine.
"I just want to take a walk out because I'm bored."
Kevin took Kartika out of the room. The dashing man approached the mother-in-law who was relaxing in the garden with a cup of coffee and reading the newspaper.
"Who would dare touch Kartika besides me?" kevin shouted at the person at home.
Yuli folded the newspaper she was reading. Put it on the table.
A moment the middle-aged woman stared at Kevin and Kartika alternately.
"I."
"Why?"
"Because he forced her to come out. What's wrong with me doing that?"
"Servant?"
All the servants gathered in a neat line in front of Kevin, there were about 10 people.
"Who was being rude to her?" point Kevin with his thumb at Kartika.
A servant took one step forward
Kevin clenched a finger hitting the servant's cheek with one punch until his body staggered backwards.
"Stop, Kevin?"
Kevin stopped his punch.heard Kartika's scream.
"No longer be rude to him, if you don't want to be fired!"
"Well," said the guards in unison.
"Go back to your guard area."
All the guards disperse from the ranks and return to their respective places of duty.
Seeing Kevin's treatment of Kartika, Yuli could only shake her head.
"You want to get out?"
"Yes, I feel like I'm in prison here!"
"All right."
Kevin pulled Kartika's wrist and then stepped out of the gate. Open the car door for Kartika.
The woman got into the car after Kevin who opened the door next to the car again sitting behind the wheel next to Kartika.
The two stared at each other for a moment. Kartika was happy with the attitude of the man beside her who always comforted her so that her heart warmed when she was depressed.
Kevin looked at Kartika's face whispering in his heart "I won't make her shed a tear even if it's just one drop."
"You didn't ask where we were going?"
"Why ask if in the end I have to stay obedient to you," Kartika grumbled resentfully advancing her aunt.
Kevin laughed as if funny with the words he had just heard.
Her tears did not come out on their own. Kevin stopped the laughter looking at the woman beside him who was still advancing his lips. In the slightest she did not laugh seeing Kevin laughing out of his arms.
Kartika looked at the man in front of her, for some reason if her heart was always warm nearby, a sense of sadness could be on the edge immediately.
Yes he was always the sun when his heart was covered in cloudy clouds making him want to cry.
If you can feel like continuing to be together even though sometimes there is still a feeling of hatred if you remember what he has done.
The car stopped driving, Kartika looked at Kevin.
"This ...."
