Kartika looked at the man sitting in front of her.
"Uncle, look at me. I just got married last night. My very merry party is turning into my suffering now. Not to mention that I was humiliated by someone in the market. I have nowhere to go back."
"That's not true. Family remains family. Trust me."
"Well if uncle doesn't let me stay. I can't force. Thanks for everything. May God return my uncle's kindness to me."
The old man looked at Kartika, actually he was very sorry to see the state of Kartika. However, he is afraid if his actions are known to others. The man was afraid if anyone reported his actions helping the woman.
Kartika left the house she had just left. An old man followed Kartika from a distance. He was worried that the young woman he helped would be bullied by young delinquents because in the area near where he lived was vulnerable.
After making sure Kartika out of the environment safely. The old man let Kartika continue on her own pace.
Kartika continued to walk whether it had been how many meters he passed to get to his grandfather's house.
Arriving in front of the gate Kartika sculpt.the woman was worried about having to enter or turn around.
In the wake of the heart, a car stopped. It was Halim's car. He immediately walked out half-run approaching Kartika.
"Tika," call him.
The woman in the shabby wedding dress turned her head, Kartika was shocked to see Halim coming out of the car running towards her.
Halim holds Kartika's wrist.
While inside the house Ati saw Kartika who was at the gate from the window of his room which was on the top floor.
Ati screamed as loud as he could. He deliberately did so so that Kartika could get punishment from Dahlan who loved him very much.
Dahlan who heard Ati's screams immediately came out from her study.
Kartika did not care about Halim who blocked him he barged in. When he arrived at the courtyard of the house the woman in the dress of the bride immediately hugged her mother.
"You from anywhere! Where's husband?" Titin hugged and rubbed the back of her crying daughter.
Kartika answered stammeredly in between her sobs, "Kevin left me, Mom."
"What?" his hands closed his mouth.
Dahlan pulled Kartika's hand so violently that her second hug slipped off.
Dahlan slaps Kartika's smooth cheeks repeatedly until the woman in the bride's dress begs for mercy by holding Dahlan's leg to apologize. However, his request was ignored by his Grandfather. Dahlan kicked Kartika on the shoulder with his leg many times. The young lady in the wedding dress grimaced and cried. It must have hurt to leave a bruise on the back of his shirt.
Seeing the treatment of his grandfather Halim and Royadi who just came to stop his actions so as not to act cruel to his daughter.
"If you're being bad about my daughter. I'm leaving this house." Royadi threatened his father.
"Grandfather allow me to marry Kartika," Halim's pinta suddenly shocked everyone. All eyes were staring at Halim.
"Son, you're crazy! Don't risk your life. Have pity on your mother." said Merry, not expecting his son to beg for something that would anger the in-laws.
"What the hell is this, if I want to get married later I find a better woman than her," said Dedy did not agree to Halim's request.
"You all know but no one tells me. That's outrageous!"
Dahlan was furious that her grandson also liked Kartika who was not his granddaughter.
