Kidney Donor

"Patient has kidney failure due to a puncture in his stomach. Her next kidney is no longer able to function because of the stabbing of a sharp object so, immediately find a kidney donor as soon as possible." explained the nurse and then returned again into the operating room.

Tika was getting hit by this news.

"What, his kidney next door is broken?" Tika rubbed her face violently.

"Where should I look for a kidney donor? I can't think anymore. My mind is in a state of turmoil right now. Mas Surya, why did all this just happen. Why does all the suffering you've been through always make me even more afraid to lose you." said Tika, now she's sitting against the wall with her knees bent, her tears don't stop flowing. Almost 30 minutes into silence, Tika finally decided to become a donor to her husband.

One of the doctors who handled Surya first is now back to handle him again. The famous young doctor from London stayed in Bandung until the end of the year, and it just so happened that it was still July so he was still here a long time ago. His name was Richard.

Doctor Richard had just come out of the operating room, he was walking past Tika and Tedi.

"Doctor," called Tika as soon as the doctor stopped his steps and turned around.

"Yes?" sahut brief.

"I'm just Doc, who's gonna be a kidney donor for my husband. I don't want anything to happen to him, help me Doctor. Let me be the donor" Tika said seriously.

Tedi got up from his seat and approached him, he felt moved by Tika's attitude. All he knew was that Tika was very afraid of needles.

"Yes Doctor, whatever the conditions are I will do." added Tika.

"Well, let's go to my room" then the young doctor went to his room. Tika followed the doctor, before leaving she turned her head towards Tedi as if asking for approval. Tedi understood the meaning of Tika's gaze, he smiled as he nodded his head in agreement.

"Some medical criteria that you need to meet as a prospective kidney donor are first willing to follow all medical examinations and evaluations before donor surgery is performed and accept the risk of surgery." obviously Dr. Richard was in his room. Tika is just a mangosteen.

"The second, physically and mentally healthy" he explained.

"Here, I just got a glass scratch, Doc. Doesn't it matter?" Tika showed a cut to her elbow, the doctor smiled and continued his explanation.

"The third, having a blood match with the donor's reception."

"That's all we know after the blood test."

"Em, I'm afraid of needles, Doc." said Tika timidly.

"As far as you are concerned, if you are afraid we can wait for the operation until there is another kidney donor" said Dr. Richard firmly.

"Don't Doc! Whatever I will do to get my husband healed and healthy again." said Tika soon because he did not want to disappoint.

The doctor asked the nurse to do a blood test on Tika. Tika followed the procedure the nurse directed. Almost 30 minutes he got the checkup and waited with Tedi at his original place.

"I'm afraid the results don't match." Grunts Tika.

"Don't do that, you think positively! This is all for the sake of your husband as well." said Tedi, although it is hard to recognize his enemy as Tika's husband.

Not so long the sisters came out with a piece of paper test results that Tika just did.

"Your blood type is the same as the patient's. Immediately prepare yourself because kidney transplant surgery is done immediately" said the nurse and then back into the operating room. Tika who heard the news, felt relieved and immediately she prepared herself.

"Di, I don't have much more to charge. Help me. If I have a lot of money later, I'll give it back to you. I-i promise. Here, my wedding ring as her guarantee" Tika said as she took off her ring and placed it forcibly in Tedi's hand.

"When, what do you think I am? Never mind, forget this. And put your ring back on, I'm not a pawnshop. Whatever it costs I will bear. Just a moment you're here let me go to the administration" Tedi said before leaving, returning the wedding ring he had received by force.

Tika was still a little hesitant with the sincerity of Tedi who wanted to help her. As much as possible he dispelled his negative thoughts about Tedi and focused more on the surgery he was about to undergo.

Tika rushed towards the operating room where Surya lay. He stared at the figure who closed his eyes lying unconscious.

"As soon as my hero recovers, I honestly can't forgive myself for making you this way. I'll give you my kidney next door as my apology, and as my love for you. Hopefully after you realize later we can improve our household with new sheets, even though you are amnesiac, even though you still have a sense with the Goddess I do not care mas, the most important thing is that I remain with you." tika said then she threw herself down after wearing all-green clothes.

Tedi occasionally crossed the room where Surya and Tika operated on, his lips did not stop praying for the operation to run smoothly.

At 22:00 Tika woke up from her sleep and with the help of the sisters asked her to move rooms. For a moment he glanced at Surya who was still closed.

"As soon as you realize, I will always wait. I left first." said Tika then left the operating room to the hospital room there with waiting Tedi, Tika lay her body is still weak.

"Are you feeling tired? Go home!" pinta Tika because she was caught off guard by Tedi's existence.

"No, I'll wait for you two here." said Tedi who sat on the chair and began to close his eyes because he could not resist sleepiness.

"Pity is also the Tedi, must sleep here. Ah, what can I do, he asked for it himself." Murmuring Tika while glancing at Tedi who had fallen asleep, Tika also began to close her eyes because of the drowsiness that was unbearable.

Surya is still unconscious due to the influence of drugs. And for 6 hours Surya was in the operating room. Operation went well. But until now, he was not fully aware.

After undergoing surgery, Surya was still getting intensive care from hospital doctors. He was lying in the ICU room. A number of respiratory aids and some hoses are still attached to some parts of his body.

The next morning

Tedi before dawn has been awakened by a telephone connection from home. He was surprised not to play. His father died with stab wounds to his back. Tedi without waking Tika immediately outside the hospital and rushed home to his house.

At his home, he immediately contacted the police. Tedi was devastated by the death of his murdered father. He swore he would take revenge with the perpetrators of this murder.
