Chapter 24

It's almost early morning when Joon and Max get out of their apartment. With jeans and a plain black t-shirt wrapped in a jacket. Both seem relaxed, in contrast to their usual daily formal appearance. With sneakers add to their manly impression. They both wear masks and hats.

"Are you ready?"

Max simply raised his hand forming an ok symbol. In accordance with the plan that they successfully intercepted from Joni's phone, they want to see how the process of arrest Joni.

They clearly have no authority to arrest Joni. Joon doesn't want Joni and the person behind Joni to know that he is the mastermind behind their arrest. They are coordinating with the police.

Joon and Max just listen to the police chief talking to his men. They are forbidden to approach the point of arrest. Their distance is quite far from the dock.

For a moment only the roar of the night wind sounded. Until suddenly the police leader darted away towards the dock in the follow of some of their men.

"You wait here. It's gonna be very dangerous." Message from the police chief.

Max muttered, "when he wanted to come along. It must be exciting to be able to join Joni."

Joon just sighed softly hearing the assistant mutter. "It's not time we showed ourselves in front of Joni."

"Yes boss, I know."

Before long, the sound of gunfire sounded simple. Makes Joon and Max take a cautious stance. Their eyes looked sharply at the pier where the sound of gunfire, shouting and the clattering of footsteps grew louder.

The two grew more alert as the sound of footsteps drew closer towards them. And before long some people dressed in all black appeared before them.

"That's Joni!" joon and Max's inner self together as the two look at each other, realizing who the person standing before them is.

Fortunately, both of them wear masks and hats so that the faces of both are not clearly visible. Otherwise, it was certain that Joni would be half-dead shocked to see her boss partner and assistant before her eyes.

For a moment they just looked at each other. Until the scream of someone behind the black-clothed person sounded

"Stop them, they bring money and stuff!"

joni's men's screams were heard because a policeman had shot him in the leg. He could only grimace withstanding the pain in his leg.

Within minutes several members of the police force had managed to bend Joni and his herd. It took a long time to clear up the smugglers. Summarize and bring them to the police station to be questioned and further investigation.

Joon and Max breathe out simultaneously. Eventually they can subdue Joni and remove her from the company.

"Together, Commander." Joon replied with a smile.

Both of them shook hands. And the police chief left Joon and Max. With smiles on each other's lips.

"Is there any other task like yesterday? The evidence that Joni's arrest was successful because of me."

"What do you want the woman to do?"

"Yes two-duanyalah boss. Uh add one more. The bonus," Max answered while swiping his two fingers, the money code.

"The assistant has no morals!" Joon cusses. Received a laugh by Max. Drive their car back to the apartment. When they arrived at the apartment, they were greeted by morning. It was a good Sunday, so both of them could go back to sleep.

The sound of the table being kicked so hard. To the surprise of the assistant who was reporting to Mr. Burhan.

"How did this happen?!" mr. Burhan was really angry to hear the failure of the delivery of goods he had ordered.

"I really don't know, Sir. The police had surrounded us. We were really cornered at the time" explained Joni's men who turned out to have escaped.

"Then what about the money and the goods?"

"They took it, sir."

"Damn!" as Mr. Burhan.

"And one more Master, Mr. Joni is caught."

"What?! How come?"

"Yes sir, Mr. Joni was caught last night. Actually Mr. Joni managed to escape, but there were two people besides the police who managed to catch Mr. Joni."

Mr. Burhan frowned. "There are two other people besides the police there?"

"Yes sir."

"Did you see their faces?"

"No sir, they wear masks and hats."

Silent for a moment,

Mr. Burhan sighed.Newly this time, the delivery of his belongings failed. Even the police caught his men. He scooped his face rough, the frustration he clearly felt.

"Make sure Joni doesn't open her mouth about us. If you need to get rid of him!" mr. Burhan's orders. He does not want his cover to be exposed.

"But sir, it will cost us our source of funds" his assistant tried to remind.

"They will also fire him. With news like this, I'm sure they'll fire Joni. We're gonna find another way to keep stealing from Lee Jae Ha."

"Okay sir, and there's one more bad news sir."

"It looks like Mr. Lee Jae Ha's family has reunited." Mr. Burhan looked directly at his assistant.
