Triying

Nina's phone is ringing. He and Karin were enjoying their lunch in the office cafeteria. Nina was still able to work, considering her injuries were not too severe.

He saw the name of the caller which made him frown. Wonderful and in disbelief. Making Karin who was sitting in front of him furrow both his eyebrows, as if asking who was calling.

"Yes hello."

"Are you okay, baby? Are you hurt?"

Suddenly Nina kept the phone away from her ear, as soon as she heard the voice of the caller who immediately shouted from across there.

"I? I am why? I'm okay."

"Don't lie!"

Nina kept the phone away from her ear.

"I know that jerk attacked you. So tell me are you hurt?"

"Huh? How does this guy know that Heri attacked me. I'm not telling the house people."

"Why is he silent? Let's answer if you're hurt?"

"Oh, am I okay?"

"Are you really okay?"

"No evidence I can still work, this is also eating."

Silent for a moment,

"Well, if you really are okay. I hung up. Met lunch, eat a lot ya."

Nina gawked at the words of that person who was none other than Joon. Who immediately contacted Nina as soon as they saw the CCTV footage

Nina just flicked her shoulders, not understanding. Lunch ended, the two returned to their respective rooms. Continue their work.

The same thing happened to Max, who immediately gawked to hear his boss can say sweet with someone on the phone. It can't be her mother.

"What's the boss' girlfriend. Ah make a kepo."

"Why?"

"Boss is healthy, right? Boss isn't crazy, is it?" ask Max without filters.

"You want to die, right?" snapped Joon who has returned to his original form (stealth of times yes back to the original form 🤣🤣🤣🤣)

"Ah, no boss."

"Max, make a restraining order on Heri Kurniawan's behalf. I want to teach him a little lesson. He's very brave to hurt my employees."

"Heri Kurniawan's? This guy again, actually the boss is no matter what the hell this guy is," inner Max was astonished.

Max immediately called someone, before long he said, "Our boss can't help it."

"Why?"

"Because the victim did not demand any further."

"Ah shit! It's easy for Nina to forgive the jerk," Joon's mind is upset

"Alright then black list his name in all companies," Joon orders after a moment of silence.

Max comes out of Joon's room. With Joon back struggling with his files. After seeing her Nina also continued her work after lunch ended.

Joon himself prefers to enjoy his lunch in his room. Not wanting to make a scene canteen his company.

Once he tried to eat in the company cafeteria. Trying to get along with the employees according to his papa's advice. But the result, even the chaos he made. The employees wanted to see themselves up close. Since that day he has never had lunch in the cafeteria.

"It would've ruined the cafeteria if I had lunch there. Tell them to take my lunch to my room" he ordered.

Max went back into Joon's room. "Boss, there's movement from Mr. Joni."

"It looks like we're going to catch a big fish this time" he told Max.

"It looks so Boss."

"Observe him, this time we must not lose the chance to get rid of him."

"Good, Boss!" answer Max

"You're getting closer to me, baby. That day is coming soon."

"Great master, Young Master has just issued an order to blacklist an employee from the Jogja branch office."

Mr. Lee who was staring at the view of the capital from the full glass window in his room immediately turned to look at his assistant.

"His problem?"

"He was proven to have committed embezzlement. Yesterday, the Young Master only ordered to fire the employee. But today Young Master ordered to blacklist that employee."

"Is there anything else he's doing?"

"He attacked an employee at the Jogja branch." Mr. Lee frowned.

"You know the name of that employee?"

"His name is Princess Karenina, Big Master."

Mr. Lee just sighed softly.

"That girl really has a special place in my son's heart."

For a moment he was silent.

"Is there anything else?"

"Young Master seems to be investigating mister Joni."

This time the look on Mr. Lee's face turned serious.

"Observate the movements of my son. Order an extra escort for him. Make sure nothing happens to my son."

"Is there anything serious going on in the office" asked Sofia shortly after Ina said goodbye.

"none. Is something bothering you?"

"Don't hide anything from me. I know your son is investigating Joni. We know who's standing behind Joni."

"Do you doubt your son's abilities?"

"No, that's not what I meant. I'm afraid he'll get hurt."

"Ha, ha. Your son is an adult. It was appropriate that he did the things necessary to protect what should be his."

"But it's going to be very dangerous."

"And you think your son isn't ready for that. He's ready, even very ready. And I'll make sure that I won't take my eyes off your son either."

Sofia fell silent. He was afraid that something bad would happen to his son. They had just gathered after a long time apart. He doesn't want it to happen to his family anymore.

His love has turned into an overabundance of hate. His hands were tightly clenched. His jaw tightened. Unimaginable hatred he felt in the girl he had once adored.
