Love of a Substitute

Love of a Substitute
Unappreciated

"Hey, good morning." said Dev as he peeked at his wife's forehead, who had just opened his eyes.

"Bang Dev, are you awake?" Kayla was surprised, she immediately got up from her position.

"It's even 9 o'clock," Dev chuckles while tidying up Kayla's unraveling hair.

"really? Sorry, I didn't feel well until I woke up late" Kayla said, massaging her neck.

"No problem, it's a holiday anyway. You feel anything? I noticed you weren't excited since yesterday. Want to see a doctor?" tawar Dev while holding his wife's forehead.

"Let's go, I'm lethargic and not passionate. Just want to sleep. No need to see a doctor, that's overkill. I just need to sleep."

Kayla dropped her body again.

"Honey come on," asked Dev to sit down again Kayla.

Kayla looked at Dev who was smiling at her, a handsome face that she was not willing to share with other women. Then what if his parents-in-law still wanted them to separate, he knew Dev would obey his parents as the only son in the family.

Kayla did not want to part, but again the shadow of the contract agreement was real. Their relationship begins with a contract that can be terminated at any time especially if he is not recognized as a son-in-law, his parents do not want Kayla.

"Bang Dev."

"You why? Still mad at me?"

Kayla shook her head, she dropped her head on the chest of the husband who had been freshly bathed.

"I don't want us to part," Kayla said in a deep tone.

"Don't talk carelessly."

"Your mom wants us to get divorced."

Dev took Kayla to look at him, he held her cheek gently.

"No, trust me. That's why you need to get up now and get ready."

"Where ready?" ask Kayla wonder.

"I've been thinking about things that might make your relationship and Mama better."

"What do you mean Bang Dev?"

"I think we're supposed to be living in the main house, maybe being close to Mama will make you fit in with each other."

"What?" Kayla could not hide her shock.

Dev nods, explaining that they will move to Dev's parents' main house. Although his parents are more often at home but lately Mama and Papa quite often return to their own home if the weekend.

Dev thought that bringing Kayla and her mother closer would have a good impact on both the in-laws and the daughter-in-law, so that the mother could accept Kayla if she already knew there were many advantages that Kayla had as her wife.

That way Dev hopes the Mama can melt down and accept Kayla as his real daughter-in-law, no longer wanting them to separate.

In addition, he also wants Kayla to familiarize herself with her family environment.

Kayla can't turn down her husband's request, she thinks the same thing Dev hopes for their move.

The next weekend.

Kayla gulped when her in-laws came home, she was quite adaptable to the servants there, but with the in-laws she was still terrified beyond measure.

Lady Lolita looked at Kayla flatly, she had been told by her son about the child and daughter-in-law who decided to stay in their magnificent home.

Kayla brought a warm cup of tea for Madame Lolita who told her to face in the living room.

Nervously he ventured to approach the in-laws who were waiting for him.

"This is the tea, madam."

Kayla put down the teacup politely worthy of a maid.

"Sit down!" the Madam's orders.

Kayla nodded, she followed sitting on the sofa next to her in-laws sitting at this time, the living room overlooking the balcony, the cool view towards the pool.

"I don't forbid Dev to bring you back here doesn't mean I've agreed with you" Lolita said as she drank her tea elegantly.

"Why haven't you left Dev since that day?"

Kayla looked at Madame Lolita with teary eyes.

"I love my husband Madam, can't Madam understand that we've accepted each other?"

"But unfortunately I've had another choice for my Son's life, and it's not you!" madam Lolita looked back at Kayla.

"Contract is still a contract, didn't I end it a while ago? Why are you still moping too?"

Kayla was speechless, she could not answer this time.

"Madam, I'll be a good wife to.." Kayla said as Madame Lolita interrupted, "Yes I understand what you mean, but back to the initial situation you were just a temporary substitute that I paid for. Now that the pay is over, I want you out of my son's life."

Kayla breathed heavily made her in-laws. He could only be scared now.

After that brief conversation, Kayla returned to her room. Reflecting on what was the will of the in-laws, separating from the Devano he loved, going and arranging his life hoping for more on this marriage, Kayla was in a dilemma.

Not to mention Nika who keeps asking where the divorce business is, the happy look of her best friend can not be ignored just like that.

Staying one roof and trying to get closer to his in-laws was not enough to make him liked the governor's family, both Dev's parents were busy with official activities and did not pay attention to Kayla if they returned to the main house.

Kayla persists for Dev's sake, she follows her husband's advice to remain patient in order to obtain the blessing of her two in-laws, if not for believing Dev would not have left her perhaps Kayla has gone far by now.

Until one morning, Mama Hana came to visit her beloved daughter, but unfortunately, she came on a weekend where Dev's parents were also in the main house.

The waiter told her to wait, but the one who came out was not Kayla but another maid who said she had to wait outside if she wanted to meet her son, he was not allowed to enter the mansion because Mr and Mrs Governor were having important guests.

Mama Hana who came with a longing, brought her daughter's favorite food, could only wait for Kayla to come down to meet her at the security guard post.

Kayla hasn't held her phone since waking up, she's busy completing her college assignments before next Sunday's semester exams begin. Until he did not realize there were many missed calls from his mother.

Her husband happens to be having a seminar at the hotel.

He stretched his hands against the window of his room with relief when all his tasks were done.

He scrunched his forehead as his eyes looked in one direction of view, the security guard post. Several times he rubbed his eyes, his vision was not wrong the woman he saw now was his mother.

"Mama?" kayla was surprised.

Without a second thought, he immediately descended from the second floor of his room out to the guard post which if not wrong his mother was sitting there accompanied by a guard who stood guard.

"Mama" cried Kayla half-run.

"Kayla, honey, you just got off?" sahut the Mama who immediately hugged his son full of longing.

"When did you come here, why didn't you come in?" ask Kayla quickly.

Mama Hana wanted to answer, but the security guard next to her first gave an answer.

"Sorry Miss, Lady Hana this has been waiting for Miss to come down, even been waiting for three hours more, did the waiter not tell Miss if Miss Kayla's mother came?"

"What's? Three Hours?" Kayla could not hide her shock at this moment.

"Hey, it's not an important matter that Mama has met you now, Mama misses you, you haven't been home for a week, so Mama decided to visit here. Here you bring your favorite rice and vegetables," pointed Mama Hana at a lunch box she brought earlier.

"Mama waited three hours? Why didn't anyone tell me? Why wait here?" kayla asked the security guard.

"Sorry Miss, Mrs Lolita does not allow Ms. Miss to enter," the security guard replied innocently.

"Darling, this is no big deal. Your phone went where Mama's phone hasn't been answered since, so Mama just waited until you got off."

"What?"

Hearing that Kayla suddenly became hot, her chest felt tight. Her mother was told to wait for three hours, and none of the servants told her about it.

It was as if those emotions were coming all the way to the crown. Kayla really doesn't accept her mother being unappreciated.

His eyes were bright red staring at the door of his large house.

"They can not like me does not mean also can treat my mother like this, I really can not stand it," said Kayla bergebu as she walked into the house with tears that have flowed, she said, his chest was filled with his brain suddenly hot by the fact that his in-laws did not accept his mother's arrival here until it was not welcome to enter.

"Kayla, Kayla!!!" mama Hana shouted following the steps of her son.
